    Travel from 23 June 2025 to 31 January 2026.

Departing from Perth, Darwin, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart to Adelaide.

    OR

from Adelaide to Kingscote (Kangaroo Island), Port Lincoln, Whyalla and Mount Gambier.

    • Wow, Darwin got a mention this time!

  • Why don't they just reduce all the return prices to Adelaide by $75 instead of using a code? That way comparison sites like google flights can price accordingly

More revenue from people who arent looking for a discount, such as business

I guess it involves tourism commission support.

      • Thats my guess, I'm seeing a lot of "Check out SA" ads on trains in Sydney so my guess is there is a tourism push of some kind by the state across different avenues.
Also seeing Brisbane a whlie back too

        • So long as this doesn't result in more people moving here.

  • So 1 ticket is $75 off, 4 tix also $75 off? Unless booked separately

    • +15

I too would like to save money and enjoy not sitting with my family.

    • Have to leave young kids behind. Can't get the discount as an unaccompanied minor :-)

  • This government is throwing everything at tourism

      Good luck.

It's the price of everything else as well that's too high.

Can get a weeks accommodation in SEA for 1 day in an Australian hotel.

Why is breakfast $40 extra pp?!

      Why is parking extra?!

      Ridiculous.

That’s the problem with Australian tourism.
Very expensive for the level of service received, airline duopoly and alcohol excise doesn’t help either.

        • +3

That’s the problem with Australian tourism.

It's the problem with living in a country with some of the highest standards of living and highest wages in the world. SEA is cheap because most of the people serving you are earning $30/day.

Blame property speculators who have driven up the input cost of everything in our economy, not just tourism.

So cheap $75 for return ticket to bad live in Sydney

    • It's not $75 but $75 off.

    • So cheap $75 for return ticket to bad live in Sydney

Could you say that again, this time in English?

  • is this using our taxpayers money?

  • +9

Even with the code, the price is still too high, why is an under 2 hours flight, $300 even with the discount? That's absurdly expensive, I wish we had more competition here, the duopoly is a joke

Try flying Canberra to Sydney. $400+ for 45 minute flight

      • +1

I am in Canberra, I'd love to take the plane to Sydney rather than drive but $200+ one way compared to Murray's $54 one way fully flexible bus, it makes more sense to take the bus or drive, the cost of flying out of Canberra is awful. I searched CBR to ADL with the code and was getting at best $300 one way with QF, VA I can often get in special the same route for $189 including baggage and seat selection, the price Qantas charges is a true rip off

We had Rex but whenever I flew with them the planes were half full. So blame the people that didn't use the alternative when it was available.

      • Issue with rex was they didn't show up as an option on some booking sites and then the timings of their flights at 2pm in the afternoon didn't really work, their flight times didn't suit my needs is why I didn't use them, and I assume many others probably had the same reasoning, disappointing they did go however

        • Rex disappeared before I knew they existed

Glad I wasn't the only one who misread the deal title.

    • I read it as 'Discover the simple people of South Australia' and thought, well, I guess its arguable

  • So many upvotes from people misreading the deal lol

  • Thanks OP
