Is it worth it over something like a soundcore liberty 4 nc?

    • I have been using those exact earbuds for over a year now. Noise cancelling on planes is excellent, water resistant means running in the rain and being sweaty isn't an issue, and they don't stick out of my ear very much. Battery life is never an issue. Great product and if they were the same price as the pixel buds pro 2, it's hard to draw a winner. I'm tempted to get these just as a second pair to leave in my work bag.

      • Just bought Liberty 4 NC a couple of months ago. Find them really good. I've just purchased the Pixel Buds to replace my Space A40s (2022) so I have a pair of stems (4NC) and some propery in-ears as the 4NC aren't good when I'm running or similar sadly and I actually don't like that they used the oval ear tips which makes using 3rd party ones complicated. Will be interesting to see (if there is any) ANC difference between the "flagship" Pixels and the Liberty 4 NC, but at this price willing to spend the $$$ to find out :)

    • Have tried different brands since 4-5 yrs including the pixel first gen.. liberty 4NC probably the best I felt for calls and adaptive noise cancelling as well..

Looks like $227 is the new going rate for these FYI

  • Legend! Thank you so much. Have been wanting these since the last atl deal! Amazing, thanks again!

  • Better than samsung buds 3 pro?

    • -1

Yes, even my 3 year old Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 are better than the Samsung Buds 3 Pro, except in noise cancelling and AI features IME.

  • Thanks Op, got one!

  • +5

Thx OP. Can confirm with Telstra points. $95 delivered

    • +2

      $75 for me!

      $9.82 delivered with points…. nice!

    • $16.21 delivered thanks !

  • Thanks, been after these!

  • Good earbuds. I hate the silicone tips. They fall out of my ear. ANC is quite good. Can't find good replacement eartips.

      • Cheers bloke!

      • +2

These are crap, bought and threw in the bin.

Time for you to hand in your primary school diploma. Need some more reading lessons.

Comment: Can't find good replacement eartips.

Title of the ad you've shared: Not sure where you read Pro 2 on that ad.
Memory Foam For Google Pixel Buds Pro

Edit: these tips do fit Pro 2 albeit poorly and the quality is quite bad.

        • Well clearly your tastes vary from most because that product has 4.9 stars out of 5. My mistake for not taking a survey of your preferences before providing options. Also yes, the buds for both models are compatible with each other.

          • @Tacooo: If only all reviews were real. Your mistake: not reading my comment properly.

  • How do I get this if I don’t have any Telstra services?

    • -7

      You can’t

    • +4

Just sign up for an account. Worked…

    • +4

Free sign up, you don't need any Telstra service

    • You can if you have a boost srrvice

    • It worked for me even with a Telstra existing account without an active service.

      • it worked for me - all you need is a free account. I dont have any Telstra service.

        • +1

How does one create an account without a telstra number?

          • @Meg4: Just add to cart and create an account during the checkout process. Doesnt ask for any Telstra numbers/services. Though you do have to provide drivers license number and details.

    • I don't think you can. I'll ask for Telstra details. People here who say that you can I don't know how you're doing this.

      • When you go add to cart, click I'm new to Telstra (blue button), then sign up with email address, then follow the rest of the prompts, adding drivers license or other valid ID + phone number etc.

Hazel colour is on back order now

  • Are these good for iPhone at all?

    • They should work fine if you download the Pixel Buds app

      • Thanks. Wonder if AirPod are worth the more money

        • +7

If you're going to use iPhone forever, I'd get AirPods. I'm a Pixel user, so went for these to upgrade my $149 Pixel Pro Buds from last year

          • @kerfuffle: Thoughts on these vs old pixel pro buds ?

  • -1

What's worth 400 on dollars on these buds? And can anyone give a comparison with the moto buds bundled with the g75?

    • +3

Nobody is saying they're worth $400…

      • -2

        reduced from $379

        Elsewhere:

Looks like $227 is the new going rate for these FYI

With the moto g75 now selling for 230, you could just buy that phone, keep the buds and then on sell it for the same price

  • Hazel now on backorder

  • Thx OP snagged me some

  • +1

    • +2

  • Cheers OP. Missed the last deal, just under $60 with 23k points.

  • +2

Nice one. $10 after using points..

  • +2

How does everyone manage to accumulate so many points?

    • +1

Mostly phone bills overtime. But remind yourself the points will be expired after 12 months or something like that.

    • Having Telstra services

    • +4

      expensive mobile phone bills :')

    • Might be work phone paying by company.

  • Got it thanks

  • Got the hazel with telstra points! Thanks Op

  • how's the microphone on this for zoom call?

    • -1

if u want good call quality you cant go wrong with airpods pro

    • +1

Not great. First gen are better. I use the OnePlus buds 3 Pro for calls but the moment I switch to these, people start saying the call quality is pretty poor. Disappointing because otherwise these are great

      • Damn that's disappointing to know that call quality is worse. I have Gen 1 but they don't stay in my ears very securely when I'm active. Maybe I'll get Gen 2 for listening while out and about and keep Gen 1 for work calls.

        • They're not bad bad I guess…but every person I've had a call with has noticed which is disappointing. Love the buds otherwise but yea sticking with my OnePlus Buds 3 Pro as the call quality is significantly better.

Online reviews and forum posts seem to say the same so I don't think it's just me.

    • Sony WF-1000XM5 are the best earbuds for microphones and noise or wind removal.

  • I have been looking at cheap earbuds So I don't need to use my pixel bud pro for running… I had long dormant Telstra points which got the price to $24!

    Thank you OP.

  • $47 with points. Thanks Op

  • $50 with points. Thanks OP

  • These are ok but don't go very loud…maybe 5/10..

  • i think this is better prices for most who actually needed the buds. Last time, the deal was over so quick, most people probably buy it to resell.

  • Sheesh I paid 198 from jb hi fi with discount last week.

    • +2

Is the serial number on the receipt?

  • Thanks mate, nabbed a pair for $40 with 30k points. I haven't used telstra for 2 years too 🤣

  • Are these better than apple

    • +1

No way on earth, but for $100, no brainer.

      • No brainer when you already have AirPod pro 2?
        I only have 2 ears

    • Better if you use android

    • I have Airpods Pro 2 and Airpods 4 NC, and yes, ANC is better than both. Much better than Samsung Buds pro 3 but sitting behind Bose

  • Thanks op, missed last 99 deal due to spent extra time do research. Grabbed this to pair with pixel phone.

    • where did you see 99 deal ?

      • +1

Click the link under related products above, shows previous deals for these.

  • Thanks OP! Great deal, just ordered one.
