There is a $2 SB Pay offer in the SB app (under "In-store", "Pay Promos") for first time Banked users. You can spend $2 to get $2 off ($1 min spend). Link your bank account or PayID details as per the instructions in this screenshot. You would "Apply Promo" and please choose your Bank account/PayID before swiping to pay as it may not be the default.

I used at Chemist Warehouse as there is no service fee there. Other stores may charge 1.5% service fee with SB Pay.

For Chemist Warehouse, instructions for the payment machine are in this screenshot. I also received a digital scratch card (random amount, could be 13c up to $10) a few minutes after the Chemist Warehouse purchase. Find the scratch card under "Account", "Rewards" & then "Use Now". There appears to be a minimum spend of $1 (after $2 discount) to receive the scratch card so spend at least $3. Scratch cards are probably only offered with Chemist Warehouse purchases.

I would suggest to use this $2 offer as soon as you can in case SB ends the offer early.

After shopping, I removed my bank account details from the SB app. Here is my Westpac authorisation request screenshot.

      Not sure but I wasn't charged when I linked my Westpac bank account and shopped at Chemist Warehouse.
      As mentioned in the post description, with SB Pay (not Pay By Bank), some stores charge 1.5% service fee. Chemist Warehouse does not charge a service fee.

    I added my PayID to Shopback today to use this promo. Selected PayId as payment method and applied this promo in Shopback Pay, but when I tried to actually pay using Swipe to Pay it gave me an error: "Over daily payment limit. You've crossed your payment limit for your account at this merchant."

    It's my first purchase of the day at this shop. Last time I purchased something from here was over a month ago.

    Had to switch back to my card in Shopback Pay in order to actually pay.

    Not a good experience.

      Sorry to hear. Perhaps try unlinking and linking to your bank account/PayID again or choose a different bank account/PayID.

        I went back to the same shop today and it worked this time. Was able to apply the $2 off promo and pay with PayID. No error message.

        I did not remove and re-add my PayID or choose to add a different PayID. So the issue fixed itself.

        Could be a bug that occurred the other day as I tried to use it soon after adding PayID to Shopback on the first day or something related to that.

      The list of banks is in the SB app and includes St George, Bank of Melbourne, Westpac, NAB, ANZ, CBA, ING, Bendigo, Macquarie, Bankwest etc.

          I've only shopped at Chemist Warehouse with SB Pay and have received a scratch card each time including this "Banked" offer. The scratch card appears a few minutes later under "Account", "Rewards" & then "Use Now".

    IIRC you need to spend $1 after discounts to get the scratch card, so $3 minimum if you want one.

    I spent $4.23 before the discount and still didn't get the scratch card. It was not a purchase at CWH though.

      The scratch card is probably only offered with CWH purchase. I haven't tried SB Pay elsewhere yet. Two retailers I went to couldn't process SB Pay orders as their system was down.

      Alinnia used the promo today.

      In the app, look under:

      • In-store
      • Pay Promos
      • My Promos
      • ShopBack Pay
      • The voucher was there (before I used it)

      Otherwise you can try to pay for an item around $3 at Chemist Warehouse. Then "Apply Promo" and hopefully the $2 will be there. Choose your Bank account/Pay ID as payment.

      Hope ShopBack hasn't removed the offer yet.

          Moo Deng used today. Perhaps check at a store if the $2 promo shows up when you scan SB Pay. Otherwise contact GYB as the promo is still valid.

    I also saw there is $5 off all stores nationwide for Chemist Warehouse under In-Store, then Brand Exclusive Deals. Is this a new promo? Or is this the one from before? If it has been used, why is it still there?

      It would be the one from before. I also see the $5 promo advertised but it's not available when I "Apply Promo". There is another $2 promo for Chemist Warehouse posted here.
