Ryobi 18V ONE+ 125mm Random Orbital Sander 2.0Ah Kit $49 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store/ OnePass) @ Bunnings

3520

Apparently there are few left here and there, so try using the stock checker below, you may be lucky.

This a fantastic deal. Sander on its own is $119 and battery is $85.

This pricing reminds of what Ryobi prices used to be 15+ years ago:)

Good amount of stock around at the time of posting, with not too many stores nil stock. I would expect these to sell out pretty quickly though. https://bunnings.youinstock.com.au/search/0637798

If it's not showing as in stock, change your location.

  • Thanks OP!

  • Great deal, thanks OP!

  • Bought it, but can i use for plaster wall sanding?

    • I guess not. The ozito one got a special ticket on it when open warning people don’t do that.

Don't need but bought. Thanks OP.

  • Thanks OP don’t need but bought as well

    Oos :(

  • Bought 3!

  • My clock and collect says it's 1.5 bit same SKU. Ilm check it out when picking uo

    • I noticed that with mine too. The two that I bought in store are 2.0mah though.

    • Me too!

  • OOS right as I was in checkout process, damn

    • Changed to 99 during checkout. Removed and refreshed back to 49 but only for delivery.

  • Sister-in-law just scored a sander (I've already got one)…. sans the battery of course… lol

  • Hmm. My order says i comes with 1.5Ah not 2.0Ah.

Sander Orbital Cordless Ryobi 18v Kit W/1x1.5ah R18ros18115

    • +1

Probably a clerical error, Kit is definitely 2.0AH.

    • Mine too. Weird…

    • Checked my email confirmation, and it indeed says 1.5Ah not 2.

    • +1

Good thing I took a screenshot via the app. Clearly states 2.0ah and you can see it on the battery in the pic.

    • I think the 1.5Ah is referring to the charger. I don't think they make a 1.5Ah battery.

      • They make a 1.5 battery aswell

  • My invoice shows up as a 1.5ah battery 🤔

  • Genuinely needed a sander for a few projects like an rc boat, prayin it ships

  • Free delivery with OnePass. Mine shipped.

Replacing an older version from ~2013 that’s had a hard life. Surprised it still works. Hope the new one lives up to its legacy.

  • Random question since I now have an 18v Ryobi battery - can anyone recommend a lightweight whipper snipper that has two lines coming out of it instead of one?

    • Just change the head? You'll be over it pretty quickly without a speed feeder anyway

      • Do the 18v ones have a bump feed head?

I have a 36v ryobi whipper snipper but would consider an 18v one if it's lightweight. Have used a friends single line trimmer but didn't like it (prefer double line)

        • +1

The 18v whipper snipper politely asks the grass to move out of the way. I had one and would not recommend it to anyone.

If you're regularly scarifying your lawn and keep the thatch under control then it's probably ok. If not, the thatch just laughs at the whipper snipper and works its merry way across the footpath.

    • +1

Not sure on your definition of lightweight, but the brushless version of 18v Ryobi line trimmer is well worth it.

  • People love Col. Sanders

    grabbed one instore thanks op

    • 2ah or 1.5 battery, please?

      • +1

Definitely 2ah. Got mine from store earlier today

        • Cheers. The email confirmation worried me, that was all.

i bought first think later, knowing i rather the ozito sanders.
cant decide whether to keep my order or cancel and get the ozitos

    • +1

I reckon the Ozito is the nicer sander to use. Had the Ryobi but sold it. The Ozito is variable speed, the Ryobi is fixed speed. The Ozito vibrates less too.

  • Mine shipped. OnePass free delivery. Gregory Hills NSW

  • Ordered pretty early but just got a refund email rip.

  • +1

    Order cancelled :(

  • Ordered dispatched! (WA)

  • Order was ready in 20 mins and just picked it up. Its definitely a 2Ah battery.

  • just got mine from Marsden Park. Confirmed it's 2.0 despite email saying 1.5.

The lady there asked what happened as all of a sudden all their sanders were purchased lol
