This is NVIDIA we're talking about bro
Nvidia wanted to see just how far they could push their monopoly into overcharging for stunted VRAM cards - I guess now they have found the answer. There's a reason these RRP $1109 cards are now routinely selling for 20% off.
This is a good price tbh, even tho it's still a 12GB glorified 1080p card. I paid a lot more for one, I'm an idiot tho.
12gb VRAM… may not good enough few years later, especially it’s not a budget GPU. Probably similar to 3070ti 8gb VRAM in 2022, as you may need to buy GPU again due to VRAM.

Buy now and play games.
Or don't
Good price considering 16GB 5060 Ti's are not much cheaper.
I hope we see a few more 5070's drop to around this price.
At 1440p, while 12GB VRAM is not ideal, I think there would be very few cases where that amount of RAM will be exceeded, at least for the next few years.
Already hitting the 12GB limit in a few of the games I play, YMMV though
I play at 1440p with the settings cranked up as much as my PC can handle , if you're not playing AAA games then 12GB will be fine for now.

Yeah we all want a time machine lol
OOS
It's a great card if you only want to play in 1080p I guess.
i'd be ok with the shit performance uplift over a 4070 if it had like 16-24gb memory
