Boost Mobile Cashback: 28-Day Prepaid SIM $11 on $13 65GB SIM, $15 on $17 95GB SIM Delivered @ TopCashback AU

840

Great offer. $2 each after cashback on both 28-Day prepaid $39 65GB SIM and $49 95GB SIM that are discounted at Boost. Offer expires on 30th June 11:59pm AEST.

Prepaid SIM (Excludes eSIM) Price Cashback Cost After Cashback
$39 65GB 28-Day $13 (Sale) $11 $2
$49 95GB 28-Day $17 (Sale) $15 $2

Also available is 290GB 12-month prepaid SIM for $195 after $60 cashback, posted here.

My notes:

  • Please note that letting the number expire and not recharging is eligible for cashback.
  • Please don't deactivate or port away until you receive the cashback. Deactivate means requesting Boost to remove the number.
  • Terms and conditions are from Telstra/Boost and apply to all cashback providers. Confirmed with the rep tightarse here, here and here.
  • Cashback is on the purchase of the physical SIM only. You can convert to eSIM after you receive the physical SIM. Activate the physical SIM first, then convert to eSIM.
  • If you're a current Boost customer, you will need to port out into another provider and then port back into Boost. Please see the steps in my comment here.

From Boost: Your number will expire if you do not recharge your service for 6 months.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase, and must not be deactivated until your cashback is payable. If the SIM is deactivated prior, Boost may decline cashback.
  • Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

  • 30 Jun 11:59pm 12 days left

30 June is the expiry date for Boost's discounted sim promotion, expiry date for TCB cashback offer is unknown.
From past deals, it always expires earlier than Boost's sim promotion expiry date.

    • +1

Some TCB offers were the same as Boost. The $39 SIM has a July expiry date on Boost website. Will PM TA to check on date and update. Thanks.

    • +3

@AsukaST TA has confirmed that cashback offer for both SIM cards expires on 30th June 11:59pm AEST as per the post.

      • Unlike yearly sim, it doesn't looks like 28 days sim offers are ending today as there is no "ends in x hours" at the moment.
        A bit confusing.

        • I saw that too and asked TA. He has confirmed the 28-day SIM cards also expire today at 11:59pm AEST. The website doesn't show.

The $17 offer from Boost for the $49 SIM ends today anyway. Boost sells the $39 SIM for $13 until 7th July.

          • +1

@trixieb: Thanks. They've fix it now.
I wish TCB can show the offer expiry date from the beginning.

    NET-cost $2 👏…hard to chose 😇

For seasoned OzBargainers who churn-sim via money-back deals, my comments are NOT-for-you. SOME've demonstrated that they've ventured outside of SPECIFIC-criteria & succeed…but NOT for-novice. Will be making fewer-cautious comments due to complaint, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16528084/redir

TopCaskback-Boost is the only deal I've purchased in the last 6+ months & I've positive experience even with TopCashback-Lyca profit-deals, lol…with-caution.

  • +6

FYI: it takes more than 3 months for cashback to be payable.
Purchase I made on 17 March is still yet to be payable.

    • Same. My 15th March purchase was confirmed on 4th April and not paid yet. It would be due for payment soon.
My 25th Feb order was paid quickly on the same day 4th April.

      Estimated Payable 15 Weeks

      • @ your TopCashback-Earnings account, click-on '+' @ each-purchase-> 'Estimated Payable 15 Weeks'.

Ideally people are advised before they buy, eg Shopback-Lyca is 175d, https://www.shopback.com.au/lyca-mobile

@AsukaST @OZBMate8911 @solacens @surfingedge @ab c @junet My March Boost purchase has been paid today. Hope you all got yours. Took about 3 months :)

    • +1

Not a good idea for SIM slutting your main number then

      • +3

you can't, you'll have to let the number expire and not recharging for like 3 month before getting the cashback,

or you'll need to recharge and pay $39 each month for the next 2 month or so.

        • +1

For most people conversion into eSIM would be the logical thing to do, unless they have a dual SIM phone.

          1) Take out your main SIM
          2) Activate Boost SIM
          3) Convert Boost SIM to eSIM
          4) Discard Boost physical SIM and put your main SIM back in.
          5) Run Boost eSIM as your main data source, especially if you need Telstra's network reception.

          • +2

@safrane: Or make your main SIM to eSim then can add Boost SIM as require (can even leave it in until expire)

    • Warning: Bought and tracked in March… still no cashback as of June28….. <sigh>

      • @BigSi Cashback for March purchase was paid on 18th June as mentioned here, here and here.

        • @trixieb …. but not mine and who knows how many others. Seriously, >90 days reflects poorly on topcashback au

          • @BigSi: Please contact TopCashback support in this link.

Not sure why yours isn't paid as the March order seems to have been paid. My understanding is that cashback is paid in batches. The cashback sites pay you when the retailers (e.g. Telstra/Boost) pay them.

For Boost, TopCashback states "Estimated Payable 15 Weeks" so it could be more than 90 days. My 25th Feb Boost order was paid quickly on 4th April. It's usually paid in about 3 months.

          • @BigSi: Just wondering if your March Boost purchase has been paid or have you contacted TopCashback support. If not, does your Boost order show "Pending" or "Confirmed"?

This 28-day SIM offer has already "Confirmed".

            • @trixieb: Thanks for the follow-up and yes I have escalated via support tickets, having earlier provided Boost order numbers. Yet, after 4 months, all I have is: 'Apologies for the delay, we are getting this resolved with the retailer and will update as soon as possible.'

If you are happy to help further, please PM me.

    We back, baby

    Thanks! Tracked in 5 mins.

Same my 10th Mar purchase hasn't reached payable yet, hopefully soon.

    • Mine was paid today.

        Thanks, mine too now! :)

  • Does anyone know how long boost keeps your number active after the plan expires?

    • Around 6 months
My sim expired on 8 Jan 25 is still there in the app.

  • +5

I miss the days when we made a profit from simply buying

  • +3

Seems I have been permanently blacklisted by Boost with my personal number and email. Never succeed with those on purchase after mid 2024.

Need to use my alternate phone number and email address.

    • haven't yet found the magic combo to get back in :( changing up the mobile, email, delivery address, and card weren't enough. Maybe I need to go borrow someone's internet connection.

      • I tried use someone else's internet as I thought different ip may solve this, but no.

    • How many times did you take up this offer??

      • +1

I used to purchase once or twice every profit Boost SIM card post before.

        • Telstra/Boost have also blocked people who are new and have never used Telstra/Boost.

  • hello. it now states "SIM sale ends 7 July 2025" and "65GB on new activations by 7 July". Any idea what happens if NOT activate by 7 July? Reduced Gb? or sim expires? TIA

    • +1

The July expiry date was there for the 65GB SIM when I posted the offer. However the 95GB SIM offer expires on 30th June. Hence I chose the earlier date for the post.

I've messaged the rep and waiting to hear back on the expiry of the cashback offers. Some of the cashback offer dates had been the same as the Boost offer dates.

For cashback, "SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase".

For the advertised bonus data, activate by 7th July. If you activate after 7th July, you would get whatever bonus data is on offer then (if any). Boost seems to have bonus data offers frequently.

      I suggest buying the $49 95GB SIM at $17 (for $15 cashback).

    • @Urbahns2008 The rep has confirmed that cashback offer for both SIM cards expires on 30th June 11:59pm AEST as per the post.

  • Has anyone managed to get unbanned from Boost after getting blocked from purchasing and activating sims?

I've been blocked since end of last year and still unable to order any to my address despite trying all the different permutations suggested above. I can't even activate sims purchased by other people and need to go via the chat to get the sim activated.

    • +1

Some people have been able to buy from Boost after being banned for a few months. I can't activate and have to contact Boost via chat to activate. I'm a Telstra customer and have the same issue with Telstra directly.

Telstra/Boost randomly blocks payment probably for security reasons. I've more success using a debit card than a credit card. It has happened to people who have never been a Telstra/Boost customer. The risk of being blocked is higher when you order more Telstra/Boost SIM cards.

  • FYI tracking was near instant, like the old cashrewards net profit deals!

    • mine still hasnt tracked - bought last night 11pm. could it because i used brave browser?

      • Unfortunately yes. It's in the T&Cs:

Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.

      • +1

        That's pretty Brave

  • Hi guys, I’m currently with Boost.

How can I avail this offer where I can get this for $255 and also the cashback?

I tried buying it yesterday but it kept saying something went wrong.

I’d appreciate if someone here could please guide me.

    Thank you

    • +1

      Hi @Rocky007

      I’m currently with Boost.

You will need to port out into another provider and then port back into Boost. I've explained the steps in this link.

How can I avail this offer where I can get this for $255 and also the cashback?

I posted the TopCashback $50 cashback offer on the $255 290GB SIM card in this link.

I tried buying it yesterday but it kept saying something went wrong.

If you get the error message, start all over again to ensure tracking. Click the pink button at TopCashback through to Boost website again.

Here are some suggestions that may help with the payment error "Sorry, Something Went Wrong" message.

      All the best.

      • +1

Thanks for the response. Appreciate it.

I’ve managed to order one sim successfully now. I had to use my passport number along with a debit card. Earlier, I had been using my DL with a credit card and that wasn’t working.

Cash back was also tracked successfully. I’m going to order another sim probably tomorrow as it’s giving me an error message again. I think it’s to do with their system.

Thanks again for your help, cheers

        • +1

Great that you bought one and it tracked.

The payment error could be Telstra/Boost rejecting for security reasons. I also have more success using a debit card instead of a credit card.

Good luck with tomorrow's purchase. The $255 SIM offer expires on 26th June 11:59pm AEST so you still have a few days to try.

          • @trixieb: I just checked again and it says Sim sale ends on the 30th of June. I guess I had seen 26th somewhere but can’t recall where.

Next step will be to port my number out to Telstra.

Will be using your steps again.

            Many thanks

            • @Rocky007: To clarify, Boost sale ends on 30th June but the TopCashback $50 cashback offer ends on 26th June 11:59pm AEST.

You would have seen the 26th June expiry in this TopCashback/Boost link.

If you want to use cashback, you would have to buy by 26th June.

      • +1

Thanks @trixieb for your help with the whole process. I was able to port out to Telstra and then join back Boost. Was an easy process overall and was completed in 15 minutes or under. Just completed the process now :)

        • +1

@Rocky007 Excellent. Thanks for your feedback 😀

  • Ordered yesterday, got it today and activated. Because my last boost number expired a long time ago, I can’t log in boost app after activation. I wanted to switch to eSIM but customer service told me they don’t support iPhone 16 pro. Anyone else using boost eSIM on iPhone 16 or is it absolutely not possible? 16 is out for 9 months already …

    • Please try a different agent. I contacted Boost support on chat. Here's the reply:

      Vidya - 10:02
Yes, I would like to inform you that, iPhone 16 pro will support Boost eSIM.

Just to confirm, are you looking to transfer your Boost physical SIM to an eSIM?

      • Second agent still insists iPhone 16 pro is not compatible, annoying

        • Frustrating. Try a third agent. The agent took a while to reply while checking.

          • @trixieb: I told them I have 15 Pro and they finally sent the steps, but I tried and it doesn't work in iPhone Settings-mobile-conver to sim because of my telstra account. They kept saying I need to set up device but I used esim on this phone before and it was fine. I asked for QR code and they wont provide. I'm done chatting. Only needed the sim for onepass promo and some new user freebies.

  • -2

That's so good. Shame no PO Box or CO Post Office.

  • Signing up as new user to topcashback, can we use referral link and also use INSTA promo code, would we get both bonus?

    • Unfortunately you can only use one referral link and they won't stack.

I'm not able to find the T&Cs for the INSTA promo at TopCashback. Google search states "This will give you a $15 bonus when you spend $15 within the first 90 days of signing up".
The $49 95GB 28-Day SIM for $17 (with $15 cashback) would be the better option.

With the OzBargain referral link, you get $10 sign up bonus when you have $10 earned cashback within 180 days of joining.

As you're new to TopCashback, here are some tips for a successful cashback:

      • If you experience any issues at the checkout page, start all over again to ensure tracking. Click the pink button at TopCashback through to Boost website again.
      • From the rep: For tracking success, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be the very last click/tap prior to purchase. Try our iOS/Android mobile app for improved tracking results.
      • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

      All the best.
