My wallet needs a break 😅

    • +7

It went from Spend $200 in a month to spend $200 now.

  • +4

Also use "GIFT10" for $10 off $50 spend on a deliver more slot.

    • Thanks. Updated.

    • Hi mate - i wasn't able to use this code for rapid delivery. What exactly is 'deliver more' slot?

      • +1

Selected postcodes, from a dark warehouse, not an actual store. If you are in the zone it will show as an option for delivery.

        • +1

          from a dark warehouse,

          huh. 😂

so you pull up and it's like one of those industrial areas where the buildings are blank with no lights on, and you tap "Ive arrived" and some metal roller door opens up and there is rando dude with a ciggie that starts going through stuff, you see used Whitegoods, TV's, air fryers scattered around. he grabs your box and it's full of dusty ornaments, mugs, old family photographs and a few old pokemon cards.
and as you take the box "Thanks for shopping with coles" he says.

  • +3

Struggling to find things that we need and have room for tbh

Anybody got any ideas? Already got 3x slabs of coke

    • +1

Some vitamins, easy to hit the threshold, if you need

      • +22

Bro is bulk ordering cans of liquid sugar, I don't think they care much for vitamins.

        • +1

Please stop Coles. I already got tons of soda at home. I can't stop stocking more.

        • Nah, Zero is better. Can't stand full fat soda.

I'd rather flick it and just do water, beer and Sodastream, but Sodastream cola just ain't right

          • +1

            @OZBMate8911:

I'd rather flick it and just do water, beer and Sodastream, but Sodastream cola just ain't right

Do it! I believe in you.

        • 😭😂

      Maple syrup, honey.

      • Good shout on the honey. Was almost out and I didn't realise lol

    • +2

Vitamins, toilet paper, alcohol if the Cheers code is still in operation.

    • -8

so dont spend the money? you're saving $10 for wasting $40 🤡

      • +5

Not really. Got three kids, so we burn through non perishables pretty quickly. And there's always something I'm forgetting. Case in point - the honey suggestion above

Also checking hotprices.org to make sure I'm not buying high ;)

TP I'd do but got gifted a comically large slab from Costco from the father-in-law 😂

  • +15

"Coles gift cards cannot be used to pay for online orders at Coles"

    You couldnt make that up

    • +3

I know, it's insanity, particularly when you look at how tightly integrated Woolworths cards are

    • +6

Not being able to use flybuys dollars online is a farce too

      • +1

You can use your Flybuys points to pay, and you don't need to round to the nearest $10 either! You just need to use Coles Pay as a payment method.

You will need to create an account, have it linked to your Flybuys, and have a linked payment method (i.e. MasterCard or Visa)

However, as Coles Pay is run by Beem you can only have one account per phone number. Which means that unless you have heaps of spare numbers floating around, you're back at square one.

My suggestion is to do the Amaysim PAYG credit trick, that way you have a cheap number for 2 years. I'm out of time to find the explanation for that now but if you look back through my comment history you'll find it 😊

        • +1

Would you kindly elaborate on the Amaysim PAYG credit trick? Or any link that discusses that?

          • +3

            @ipodhikaru: Yep, here it is

            1) Wait until Colesworth has a $30 starter kit for $10 dealio going
            2) When you activate the SIM, select the 7-day data pack. Allow the 7 days to lapse.
            3) Do nothing for now. You will still receive SMS/calls after the data pack expires. The remaining $20 credit will expire in 365 days.
            4) On day 364, activate the $10 PAYG plan. You'll be left with $10 credit
            5) Do step (4) again 364 days later.

            • +1

              @OZBMate8911: That’s genius. Thank you!

            • @OZBMate8911: PAYG plan is now $15 https://www.amaysim.com.au/sim-plans/28-day-sim-plans/as-you… .
When a started kit is activated on a PAYG plan, they don't take $10 off the credit. All $30 are counted as the credit for calls and text messages over a 365 day period. Afterwards the credit expires, but Amaysim will keep the number active for another year.
A cheaper way might be to buy a $2 SIM and get $10 credit via referral https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/911816 .

              • @Miroslav: Does a new email mean a new customer? T&Cs in the link for referee.

                • must not be an existing customer.
                • successfully switch to and activate their new UNLIMITED mobile plan or AS YOU GO SIM service.
                • +1

@trixieb: So far with Amaysim new email meant new customer. They might have become more stringent lately. Some other providers are checking/matching DOBs.

              • @Miroslav: …"When a starteR kit"…, not starteD

  • +4

Man these Coles deals have been crazy, the last 3 shops I also got $10 off online shop coupons each time (so effectively $20 off once Coles Fest ends) with the last shop giving me 3 lottery thingies (2 were free Cokes) and they added 8 bags of Robert Tims Coffee for free (I think it was a free sample).

  • +1

Was this the same code as last week CLICK10?

Seems I cant add it to the order as I "don't qualify for the promotion"

    • yeah I have nfi what's going on either.

I only caught on to "Coles Fest" in the last week. obviously the marketing didn't really work on me.

by "last week" i assume the code is the same, but you can use it once a week?

  • Love these. Made me try Coles and I like it. Normally shop at woolies

    • +1

Apart from $ discount what made you like Coles?

  • +3

if anyone wants the free choc block with their $50 order
    32OTLE75

    • The promotion code is not currently available

      • +7

Guessing someone used it without letting anyone know.

        • Eh, I got this on a fresh unopened code also

    • Ok I’ll bite. Who is the 3rd assuming you referring to Woolies and Aldi as the others.

      • +1

One would assume he means IGA….

    • you don't prefer coles for certain items?

not going to list them all, but for example fresh produce better at woolies (though admit coles seemed to become a bit competitive here), pastries at coles are much better. can't eat woolies pastries they taste like baked with cardboard dust or something, taste bad and aren't "pastry like" when you bite.

Promo code is not available. Someone took it without the decency of giving you a thanks :(

      • Welcome to OzBargain, every man for himself!

      • +3

Ozb forums are publicly accessible and viewable without an account so the person who used the code might not even be an ozber

        • +2

A decent person would sign up and say thanks though. Too many leeches on this platform now :(

  • what if i buy a variable priced item like meat? the final price on coles website is exactly $50 and discount can be applied but when the store packs the order, the price of meat is cheaper which brings the total down to below $50. will i still get the discount?

    • +5

Yes. An item was OOS for me. So my total dropped to $38. Was charged $28.

      • Thanks, was still waiting at checkout until someone replied lol

  • Can you order today and pick up tomorrow and still receive the discount?

    • +2

      Yes

    • +1

      Yes

    • +3

order today, pick up next week if you like. Discount is applied when you check out not when you pick up

  • +1

Says im not qualified for CLICK10

    • Same. Should have ordered yesterday for the free Nutella as I actually need to do a shop.

  • I am happy its ending lol

  • +1

YAY! its back much better then the Nutella deal they had yesterday

  • How do you know it's the last one? Thanks!

    • @trixieb

Curious too, probably another one on the last day (22nd) given there's been one every second day it seems.

  • +1

I didn't get peel and win in my delivery order so I spoke to chat support and they mailed one to me

  • Coles is so greedy. They don’t give me a fair chance to save money.

  • +6

alway add two egg for 13.20, they will cancel this and you get more discount which is10 of 40.

    • 😂😭 - which egg item

      • +1

free range extra large (Coles brand)

        • you got what I mean

    • 2 eggs for 13.20 that's expensive if they don't cancel but thanks for sharing

      • I would assume it is two dozens of eggs for 13.20. If so, where can you get a dozen of eggs less than $5.50? My local independent supermarket advise $5.98 for a dozen of eggs (700g) as their super special. My local Aldi usually run our of eggs.

        • Last time I saw dozen for about this price $13 and I said to myself it was ok without eggs for awhile I got beans at home. I left them for someone else who needed.

          • @bcYield: The most expensive eggs I bought was about $12 a dozen and I bought them for my mum. I agree with you at $13 I can go without it.

    • Lol i tried it today and got the actual eggs. All good we go through a tray in couple of days

      • +1

Haha, you should feel lucky about that. People have to wake up early to grab cheap eggs. Another tip is to place your order in the morning and choose the 6–8 PM pickup slot — by then they’re definitely sold out!

  • Its like I've spent 200+ on Coles this month alone and I have tons of stock at home now.

  • How much is roughly delivery fees?

  • Didn't get flybuys points, peel and win or glass container credits from last order. Difficult to contact support. I'm thinking of going in store to spend $50+ to get the 10000 point Week 4 FB promo I have.

  • I've never shopped online for Coles before. Will these purchases count towards the 'spend $50 per week for 4 weeks for 10k points' offer?
And do i need to spend $50 or $60 (before using the online promo)?

    • Yes online spend counts towards those offers

If you read their terms or ask ChatGPT, technically you need to spend over $50 to trigger the offer, however in practise people mentioned that isn’t the case.

    • +1

Spend $50 before discount according to people

      I'm planning to order tonight

    • +1

      Occassionally I get shafted

Last time I spent $60 to meet the threshold a $50 off voucher was automatically applied. It tracked as $10 and I missed meeting the weekly spend.

      • Any idea if multiple peel and win codes stack?

        • Yeah I stacked free cookies and free 2L coke today for click n collect, and CLICK10

      • +1

I have a 2 litre Coke if you want to swap

      • I’d love your code please 🙏🏻

      • Could I have the code please? I can swap 18pk lamingtons against them

    • I have a 18pk Coles Bakery Lamington fingers that I'd love to swap with your cornflakes!

  • I don't understand where I'm supposed to do the peel and win thing. Was I meant to get an email?

    • +1

You get it with your order. If click + collect it is in the red tray box where you pick up items from.

Need to spend minimum $50 to get one, not sure if before or after discount since I made a $60 order and with the $10 off code it is still $50.

      • I see peel and win card on the invoice so I think it was just forgotten in the tray.
