        • iv called them 3 times so far (ordered in store) and they have advised to wait every time but have not confirmed that they have one instock on its way. oh well ill wait a little longer.

      • btw the store never bothered contacting me, i had to call them several times before being informed that there was no more stock. Now waiting for the online department to issue me a refund. Online purchase at Harvey Norman…never again

  • Hmmm, that was weird. I opened a paypal dispute and escalated to a claim just now after receiving that store credit email earlier. Then I checked my emails right after and I got another email that instant from Gerry saying they had actioned a refund, wait 2-3 days. They could have saved a bit of hassle by just doing that this morning, rather than being dicks about it.

Ok there is something weird going on here. I was told on the 28th of Feb that I would be given a refund and it would take 3-4 days. as it is now the 10th and I had not received the refund I logged into paypal and raised a dispute. Literally 2 minutes after that I get an email from Harvey saying my refund had been actioned and would take 2-3 days.
Seems like they do not release the refund until you raise a dispute. Seems awfully close to a scam to me. Just hoping that people will forget about it and they never have to provide a refund.
