Webjet is posting sales of airlines - these are not webjet sales. Booking fees apply. This is not a bargain

    • That's true, but what other site allows you to compare prices like webjet does? I think they deserve to be in business for that reason. They've saved me from getting caught to a lot of exorbitant airlines rates.

      • iwantthatflight.com.au or adioso.com - not perfect but do the same job

        • not very well though

  • Lol 4 posts in a row asking the same thing.

    • lol you do realise mine had a little hint of sarcasm haha? and im gonna guess the rest did too ;)

Ah bastards… Booked honeymoon on Sunday and this is the first of the bargains I could've had :\
Virgin has the domestic sale on their site… Avoid the webjet fees

  • Obviously you're all here because you are smart shoppers… But gabon's post above is spot on. Webjet charge you fees to do the same thing you can easily do yourselves!!! Also, if there are any problems with your booking (eg. your flight is cancelled), they are not responisible in any way. Hence they will not refund you. You must contact the airline directly for a refund and you will lose your booking fees! If you want to use Webjet again to rebook, they will charge you once again to do this!!!
Basically, I'm saying… Jump on their website, compare the deals you want, then go book it yourself direct with the airline!!! Goodluck!

    • Anyone else remember the Airways episode where the guy booked a flight with Tiger with Webjet. Got to the airport, and was told by Tiger they haven't flown to that destination for a year…

I don't see why it makes sense to book through them when you can get the same fare directly from the airline, and without the hassle of the 'contact your agent' line if anything goes wrong…
