Just Noticed on Liveconnected website that they launched 4G plans.
Cheaper the Virgin 4G plans.
$28 (S) - $500 Credit, 1GB
$30 (M) - $700 Credit, 1.5GB (Unlimited Standard National Txts)
$41 (L) - $900 Credit, 2GB (Unlimited Standard National Txts)
$55 (XL) - Unlimited, 3GB
Nice little fundraiser there; & wow _ 28 dollar '(S)'. This 4g 1gb any good?

wish that they would let us on the older plans have 4g… happy to pay a $5 surcharge for it… just dont want to be forced onto their newer plans

The $30 plan seems a hell of a lot better than the $28 plan for a $2 difference - "$200" more funny money, unlimited SMS and talk to other LC and 0.5gb extra data.
it is called marketing. they did it on purpose to show how much extra value u can get just for 2 dollars. hence the majority would go for it once looking a the 28 and 30.
and u just fell for it.

Takes weeks to get an email reply , if you get one at all. Check out whirlpool for some very active threads on these guys .
Never had a problem with the few times I have had to contact them for support. Each time a response was given within three hours.

I also never had any problems with support, they were very helpful and quick to respond when I had an issue with my service being locked.
I have never had a problem with them either - we have 2 phones with them
Im currently on there first $15.99 plan $650 with 2gb internet and so far its good. As long as u dont need to contact them for support. Hahhaa
Anyways i wouldnt pay double just for 4G and less GB on this new plans.. 3G is more then enough on a smart phone.
Plus all there 3G plan prices has been jacked up by heaps! i wouldnt recommend liveconnected to anyone now..
Such a ripp off!! For all new plans i actually sign up with Vay,a still @ $16 and more $$ and with a support number to contact, plus still on optus network..
Agreed - when you're only paying per month then why sign up for a 4G plan unless you've got a 4G phone?? Pay 3G now til you've got a phone that will use 4G (if ever).
Much better off in this case (ie 3G pre-paid) with Vaya for $17/month with unlimited SMS, 2GB/month, still Optus network.

Or live in a city with 4G on Optus (I'm looking at you Canberra)

Go over your 1gb data and you'll be paying an extra 0.50c per Mb. Ouch!
Status Quo
They have a feature where you can block your service if you go over your allowance…but it blocks your calls also. So you have to unblock it to make calls. You just have to turn the data on your phone off.
They catch you out the next month, because you unblocked your service the previous month. You only get notified after you have racked up a big bill. Nice business plan.
They never replied to my emails.
Will never use or recommend them again.
Vaya are announcing their new 4G plans tomorrow (thursday). Would be worth comparing
I can't wait for it… wish TPG have 4G.

Would NEVER go back with these guys. INCREDIBLY bad customer service. Couldn't get out of there fast enough! Be wary.

Unless its a telstra 4G its really not 4G. Voda and optus can't even get their 3G right.
Steer clear of LiveDisconnected my personal experience is they treat your bank account as there own…
They take NO notice of the TIO and take weeks to talk to you WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM ..
I personally will NEVER use them ever again!
Agree with all the grievance on Live Disconnected above.. It makes vodafail looks better all of the sudden
the vaya $100 calls is a rip. 90cents per 30 seconds and that just to a country i would call. Some are like $2 per 30 seconds. You would use the $100 up in one call
Guess Vaya is cheaper then LC on 4G plans still..
