Not really a fan of a power cable plus a USB cable.

Stay away from desktop externals then.

    • you dont like this doesnt mean others feel the same.

    No stock. No deal.

No stock no deal… All stores are 'out of stock'.

  • Lucky you. Nothing in the vicinity of 2000 or 2065.

  • None at postcodes 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000.

    No Stock in ACT :(

  • OP, were you able to purchase one?

  • +2

Sorry, my fault…I should verify this…

    • +1

you should check some other stores. thats all. make sure there is stock anywhere.

    • And mention the store location. OW and DSE are newbie traps.

  • +3

No stock = no bargain to be had.

  • Lol by the time we find out which postcode there's one available in, someone would've nabbed it in person by then

  • +9

No stock and no delivery. There should be a warning when posting Dicksmith deals that you must nominate at least one store that actually has stock.

    • -1

Agreed. This is pure Spam by DSE to drive traffic to their site

      • -2

DSE did not post the deal.

        • Yes but they list the products at a price that stimulates discussion on forums. Even if they have none in stock. You dont think DSE staff post some of these deals???

      • +1

        Dse has an interest.

    • +1

Same applies to Officeworks clearance one of's also.

    • I support this motion.

    • (dupe).

  • +3

Please don't post no stock item again.

Surely its about time the ACCC started receiving complaints every time DSE does this? It is actually illegal to advertise a special deal whilst knowingly not having enough stock to fulfill it for a reasonable number of customers. DSE seems to use the "while stocks last" and "not in all stores" and "clearance" labels a little more than is reasonable, they're absolutely not acting in good faith.

    • Agreed, though I'd be happy enough if they simply showed the nearest couple of stores to you that did have stock (even if they were 3000km away). If any.

  • Guys n gals, if anyone near Neutral Bay apparently that is the only store with some stock…

    • +4

Nah, showed no stock when I searched 2065.

  • Saw this last week, checked a dozen post codes nationwide, out of stock everywhere

I never shop at dicksmith because of this and other reasons

    • Not because of the amazing quality of items bearing a DSE brand is it? :-(

  • I thought ready the comments this was a deal from Officeworks.

  • well there is always the next best http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/98662

  • i wonder if anyone has actually been able to buy a clearance item from DSE -_-

    • Yes I have, like a few days ago $5 blu-ray and years ago $15 Guitar Hero Drum and few dollars games.

  • What a tease.
