They have pushed out another list of more items! It does verify the theory that the initial page was for DX AU deliveries whilst this is the International 50% off section. Please be aware that there will be longer delivery times for this since it needs to be shipped directly from China as opposed to the DX AU (which apparently has warehouse in Perth).

Update 3:
Offer is pretty much officially "Ozbargained" with the only remaining stock to be either very specialist products (Spare battery for product x), Seasonal products (Christmas), or stuff that not many people want. The only thing I am hoping for is that they can fulfill all orders so everyone is happy.

DX has subtly stated however, (Broken English) "If the customers who participate in this activity are more than expected which results in lack of product supply, we have to process refund for the oversold items, please kindly understand." which may account for some people's Paypals reported refunded against.

Update 4:

Have to apologise in advance to anyone who doesnt get the stock for this deal. Despite being the OP and putting the order through before others, I have now received a cancellation against my two orders (W8 and PD10). It is seemingly like a lottery to get stock. Very very disappointed. :(

Update 5:

After a disappointing weekend, DX has now come back to affected customers with a voucher that's worth 15% of the original total order. So, if your order was $200, then they will give you back $30 worth as a rebate in compensation to be used in DX. Apparently the stock is still available - but not it has changed to a different SKU but they are offering 15% off the original price. This is pretty beneficial if your original order was expensive (and hence you can get back a higher rebate value) - but typically most would only have done a $200 order with $30 rebated.

As you can see, the deal is nowhere near as good as before. However, it is up to you as an individual to see if it is still good value enough to continue making the purchases.

    FYI, just got an automated call from 28Deg asking me to confirm the 2 orders I made today and a previous order with another store on Tuesday. I made these using Paypal using funds from my CC. Good that they are monitoring the transactions.

    Hi guys. I was about to buy a new ipad with retina display then I saw the DX audirect had the Freelander PD80-HD. The specs include "Retinal Technology; IPS screen, 2048 x 1536". Is this similar to apples retina display resolution? Yes, I understand apple and android are different platforms, it was mostly the retina display resolution that was the selling point for me. Anyway, I purchased the PD-80HD. It was still $400 savings on a new retina ipad. Thanking in advance.

    Half the stuff was sold out, but now seems to be back. I tried ordering the OBDII tool, but it said sold out as I was trying to pay. Now it says it's available and I ordered it fine. I think the site may have glitched out.

        oh it should be ok for most streaming, though i am not sure about the higher resolutions like 1080p

        I mainly want wireless n because i have a wireless n router set to the appropriate channel.

        The old dealextreme site was different, they had some stock but not everything and sellers listed their own items. You could see sellers at the bottom of the page.
        You could also see the shit ones change their name slightly when they had a bad enough reputation :)

        I was trying to cancel some items in my order. They said they couldn't do it as the payment was still in process (despite my screen said payment had been confirmed and order was processing) and I should wait for some kind of verification email from them because I paid via credit card (although I paid via paypal). I tried three times today on the morning, midday and just now. But on the last time, after saying they couldn't, suddenly they told me that the payment has then been confirmed and he could proceed with the cancellations. So no verification email

      The ditter v12 will not be any good for streaming HD content over wifi, as it only has wifi g, not wifi n.

      On the upside, it's still in stock, whereas the mk808b (which has wifi n) is no longer in stock.

        wifi g should work fine in the same room.
        HDTV is 12 Mbps, h264 rips less. Streaming a raw blu-ray rip at high bit rate could be a problem, I suppose.

          I have had trouble streaming 720p .mkv files over wireless n. Over g, it was unwatchable. Advertised wireless speeds are theoretical maximum burst speeds. They are not comparable to wired network listed speeds. Eg: 100mbps Ethernet was fine. "300mbps" wireless was choppy and glitchy.
