We have a lot of the parts above in stock. We have just sometimes run out of stock due to demand. If we do run out will let you know. If your willing to wait for the stock to come in then we are fine with that too.

If you sell something listing all the parts and someone buys that from you, and pays the money, then you should not be changing the brands of the parts after sale.
If you feel your running out of stock of what your selling then limit the quantity you sell to match your stock..

If I purchased part "a" and you said I could have part "x" instead, or wait until part "a" comes back in stock, I'd say screw you, I paid for "a", I want "a" and in the timeframe stated when I paid you my money.

        • Agreed, I would be VERY pissed off if I paid for a samsung 840 PRO SDD and only got the samsung REGULAR SSD

I should get what I paid for even if it means I have to wait an extra week or two.

I don't like the idea of paying all that money only to play "pot-luck" with my parts

(also this is the reason for my neg, there is no way to be sure that you're going to get the parts you paid for and therefore impossible to know if this is a bargain or not!)

  • Awaits incoming advice about the Power Supply - Something talked about on every single computer thread to date.

Never heard of Honli, But that may just be me.

      It's crap..

  • Is the choice for an i7 a marketing thing? it seems rather pointless in a budget system…

An i5 with a better PSU would've been a better choice

  • +2

a competitors deal offered the Corsair GS-600 PSU, which is much better

  • +3

MSY price is $647 + a case and PSU, but as noted above the i7 is an 'interesting' choice.

Also this comes with a rubbish PSU that you would probably want to replace anyway.

    It also has no OS.

    • +2

While I agree the Honli seems to have nothing but bad reviews your '$647+ a case' is hardly compellingly cheaper than the OP's $649 with a case (even if you do throw the PSU away).

      • +2

True, but neither is the OP's deal compellingly cheaper than the MSY option, despite taking away the option to choose parts (replacing the i7 with an i5, 2TB HDD etc).

IMO pre-built systems need to have either a hefty price advantage or a good choice of parts—this doesn't really have either.

  • +1

Not too bad a deal. Nice to see front USB ports as a lot the budget builds that get many votes here only have USB 2.0 front ports…
