Is the revolution still the best mouse /best bang for buck in that list?

  • Nice one! Come in Spinner! :) Great Deal :)

  • -2

+1 for me, buying something i don't really need just because its cheap!

  • wow 85 pluses in just 13 hours that's gotta be a record or something. 86 now.

  • Wow unbelievable! I just ordered 6, 1 for each computer around the house (3 comps), and the others for backup :) heheheh

  • just ordered 2! one for desktop and one for lappy

  • Got 2!! My bro will be happy to get a new mouse

  • Kind of silly that Dell didn't put a limit on the purchases by each customer. They'd be out of stock within a few hours of sending the email.

Anyways, ordered 1 just to see if this deal really is true.

  • Just ordered two more in addition to the two I already ordered, lol. Hope dell has enough stock for us all.

  • +1

I ordered via the SB link and it says "Keyboard & Mice Kit-Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse"

I wonder if I'll get the keyboard also?

What does everyone elses's Order Acknowledgment say?

  • The deal is true and not a mistake I suppose. It is Dell's Giant Easter deals. Different deals everyday until Friday. I got the news letter on Sunday but checked it just now. Cheers.

  • Has anyone got the payment clearance email yet?

  • this has got to be the deal of the year….. or decade…

  • +1

Turd I just did the same method.

Ordered through SB, purchased 3 “Keyboard & Mice Kit-Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse” for $99 on CC

    My order says

    KEYBOARD & MICE
    Thank you for choosing DELL $30.00 3 $90.00 = total $99

So I presume I get the keyboard too…Ebay time

    • +2

Keyboard & Mice is the category name, good luck

    • KEYBOARD & MICE might be the heading for the section and the item being Kit-Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse.

Not too sure, just my impression.

But please do keep us posted if it actually does!, Fingers crossed for you!

    • Keyboard and mice is the section heading. There is no mx combo kit, the kit is just the mouse just like all the other mice you can choose from. The keyboard+mouse are more expensive and are listed lower down.

  • Hey

I'm thinking about grabbing one of these, seems like a great deal.

Just wondering how you guys found the keyboard and mouse deal? Whats the SB link?

    Sorry if its really obvious!

  • -1

Just ordered another one, but this time with the keyboard for $33. Fingers crossed.

  • Still haven't received order/payment confirmation this morning.

  • +2

lol i just got all the three on the shelf in clayton OW with price match. totally cost me 97.20. it is really cheap. so dudes hurry

    • But I remember OW usually do not match the online price.

      • lol i just printed that page and went there ask for price match then bought all the three. no matter u believe or not. at lease there is not any more in clayton ow now.

      • I did the same. They will try to dishonour it. The guy at Ascot Vale said they dont match promotions.

After a little firmness, he caved in. He then took a long time to process it, wanted to charge me $45 freight which i said NO to.

Even had the cheek to try to charge me credit card surcharge and 20c for a bag.

Anyways, manage to get mine for $32.40 without all the extra charges.

It was the last one left there. So try elsewhere.

Excellent Deal, Just ordered 10, Ebay TIME~~~Thx Mate

    NEWS FLASH!

WORLD WIDE SHORTAGE OF MX REVOLITION MOUSES!

    lol

  • +1

    One question, what's SB?

  • Ordered 2 then another 2. Just following the craze, I'll think what to do with them later :)

  • Small Business

    • thanks mate!

  • +1

Seriously we're going to see a 100 of these on eBay in a weeks time and everyone will be competing to sell them..

    • Haha yeah. If they honour most of these sales then the Ebay price will be driven right down.

I got 3 - last night. May try for one of the $33 SB link - do we get a keyboard too?

      • keyboard + mouse combo is $105

  • Thats true but I'm sure they will sell for more than $33….woohoo

  • I dont think this is a pricing error. they would have to have got it wrong in the system prices and in the email saying that its a special. Unless the emails generated automatically I think this is quite unlikely.

  • Yes but then you can always sell it at a later dates, when demand is strong :D

  • can someone just call dell and ask if this is an error?

it's already 12:45pm and we haven't received confirmation from dell?
    lol!

I would call but i'm at uni right now lol!

  • Would be great when someone would let us know the minute they receive confirmation, otherwise we keep speculating.

  • Place order for 2 around noon time and receive an email acknowledging receipt about 15 minutes later, still await for the payment clearance notification.

  • Our apologies…

The product you have selected is not currently available for online purchase in the segment you have selected.

    Good luck guys.

  • Obviously another error, why bother, they've now removed the item. Good find, but not deserve that many +ve when no one will get the item at the price in the end.

  • SB one still working

  • Hopefully its because they're out of stock..

  • I'm still giving it a "+" since I didn't find it, and thanks to pokerplayer, I placed an order. It's not like I'm rating Dell here.

  • Oh noes, the link is dead ;)

    You know what that means…

  • I ordered with credit card..
My card hasn't been charged yet.

  • I didn't bother ordering any…

cause I just got 3 price-matched units from Officeworks in Hobart for $32 each!

Hahaha, can't believe my luck. They even rang up dell to make sure!

    • lol. now thats smart. :)

  • Aww offer taken down before I was able to print. No OW price matching for me, oh wellz.

  • +2

wuhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu got 2 @ OW South Melb. and the guy over there also bought one hahaha…

    • Any left over there?

      • when i left the store they have 3 left on the shelf……don't know now tough almost 2 hours has passed

  • I bet they will be canceling all their orders now! :(

Too bad. Good on you if you went to OW to do the pricematch and actually got it.

I tried but just as I went there the link was broken. Doh!

  • Dell order tracking doesnt appear to be working. Looks like Dell has pulled another shifty

    • It only apears in their tracking within 24-48hrs of the order.

This exact same thing happened last time with the Cheap PC's.
Everyone that orderd a mouse will NOT be getting then.

Good work on the people that went to office works to get the price match before the took the deal off.

Too bad!!! I actually need a new mouse for work. :( !

  • -3

    fucking dell.

i ordered 1, we'll see if they make up some shitty excuses again

    • They wont have an excuse. They will just cancel your order and blame it on "pricing error".

For those that paid via EFT good like getting your money back. Took me 7 days last time.

      • such is the nature of EFT, 2 days to get to them, 2 days for them to process everyones orders, 2 days to get it back, thats nearly your 7 days right there

        • ah.

Oh well….. Wish I'd gone to office works sooner.

The one I went to had 5 on the shelf.

  • -1

lol @ everyone buying these mice and heading straight to ebay with them. Great if one of you has that idea, not so smart if everyone does it.

  • I tried going to officeworks to get it priced matched but they told me that Dell are selling an OEM version which it doesn't say anywhere that it is but they wouldn't budge :(

  • Just got two from OW alexandira using price match. Now no more available for Price match in that store.

  • Just called my local Officeworks, was told they wouldn't price match the Dell price because they don't have any in stock (Dell). Apparently Officeworks head office looked into it and are investigation the deal.

The salesperson did say they had previously matched it but no longer because of head office e-mails.

Let's see if Dell honour this deal..

  • -5

all evidence points to YET ANOTHER DELL BULLSHIT SCAM!

ALOTTA PEOPLE GONNA GET PISSED AGAIN!

  • lol…we'll see the rejected order casualties from now on…

  • I wonder if Dell would even bother sending out emails to reject the orders. But then again they might just honour the orders, if that happened in two days it would have been April's fool day :)

  • Where's that guy that reported for APC magazine? Easy beatdown story on Dell for him!

  • +1

lol at all people buying 10-30 to sell on eBay…

  • I guess if Officeworks ring up Dell, then the offer should be valid as i don't think that Officeworks would be so 'dum' to sell at $32 if the offer is pricing error or something like that from Dell Rep or cust service……….

  • lol
is this maybe another stimulus package from Govt for everyone in these hard times?

    • U WISH POTTER! LOL!

  • got one at OW

    • damn, wish i didn't have uni today >_<

    • lucky!

  • actually I got mine ~40 minutes ago. It was the last one on tthe shelf anyway.

    • which store was this?

  • +1

can someone scan a copy of receipt from Office works please ??

  • Has anyone actually rung Dell up to find out whats going on?

  • +1

To quote from Whirlpool forums, a user called puppydog4l1f3 commented:

"Hate to burst everyones bubble but…..

Just called Dell to find out if the price was indeed correct as I wanted to try and pricematch with Officeworks. First lady put me on hold then told me she was advised that I would have to call Logitech myself to find out the price?

I was like…no…put your supervisor on. Supervisor gets on and tells me that they don't actually have the Logitech MX Revolution because they are still waiting on the shipment from Logitech. Great. So how much? "They are normally $150". Yeah. So I go, well I have mates that have ordered them for $34 will they still get them at that price?

He goes "no of course not." Printing error? "Yes. Your friends will not recieve them."

    The thread is here: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1171615&p…

bah I wish they'd process our orders. Would've been great to have a brand new mouse!:)

  • $#$#!&@!!… Dell, You've Done it AGAIN!!!

  • hehe, anyone got a scan of the page before they took it down? officeworks may still price match :)

    • I PRINT THE PAGE
BUT THE GUY AT OW QV melbourne, insist to view the website, and i show him my email
he's almost do the price match for me
but the manager ask him to click the buy icon,
      and the link is dead
      so no lucky at all

but some ppl do brought at 33 in that store, include the manger and the sales man ………

      only three left

      but …

  • -2

    OMG!

I went to OfficeWorks this morning with a scan of the page and asked them to price match. They rang Dell and they confirmed the price however they weren't sure of the delivery fee. However the guy in charge of the delivery fee wasn't available at Dell so they decided to call back later. When I came back in the afternoon, they told me they called Dell and they ran out of stock so no price match.

    I WAS SO PISSED!

    FUCK YOU DELL!

    • The price included delivery.

    • Yeah, fuck you Dell for accidentally printing a price error for one of your items!

Sheesh, give me a break. A pricing error can happen to any online store. If they honour great, but if they don't why kick up a fuss, it was a free shot at getting a bargain.

      • +2

they fucking wasted everyone's time. Same thing at the supermarket, if the barcode is wrong, u r entitled to get the item for free.

        • The point is this is a common, understandable mistake. If you feel an urge to say "fuck you" to someone everytime they make an unintentional error that's pretty poor form.

For what it's worth I've been through 2 past Dell pricing errors. Thought it was simply a bargain the first time and paid by EFT, had my money locked up for 2 weeks before they returned it. The second time I figured it was a mistake so didn't bother. I didn't get anything out of it but wasted a lot of time. Big deal though, mistakes happen, that's life.

          • +2

@falcine: Everyone's threshold for tolerance is different, just because you have a higher one doesn't mean you should chastise someone for expressing their frustration.
Dell had made a 'mistake', people have a right to express.
Big deal though, mistakes happen, people curse, that’s life.

            • @shadowfangz: You've missed the point, I'm not against expressing frustration, I'm against offensive behaviour. I would think there's a pretty big difference between being frustrated and shouting "Fuck you" at someone. If you think that kind of behaviour is fine, that's OK, but I always thought civility is, you know, kinda important.

        • The supermarkets give the first item to you for free, because that's their VOLUNTARY code of conduct about barcode scanning. its not a law, and it doesn't apply to every retailer.

  • If i get a copy of a purchase from Officeworks, will other Officeworks honour the same deal although Dell is out of stock?

    • want to konw this too
my firends do get some mouse at other OW

  • fuck Dell, this is bait and switch. this simply cannot be another pricing error, no one company can have this many pricing errors.
