Closing down Sale - Everything Reduced from about 50% OFF up to 90% OFF

690

Hi all, we are closing down after quite a few years in the industry. We are madly counting stock and listing items as we go once we sort out what's what. So new stuff is getting added daily, and prices may get reduced further as we finalise things, so its worth keeping a track. Best option is the link above, as items we are returning to suppliers or not got to yet will still be at normal price on the site.

We want to clear everything by 31/8.

No returns on sale deals.

yes it is! :-) but its human nature isn't it these days. God bless the internet!

  • "Everything Reduced from about 50% OFF up to 90% OFF"

Can we get a better price on the KOR water bottles OP? From $19.75 to $17.75…. really?
Factor in shipping and its the same price most stores sell them for normally….

    • +4

yes, the Rep has just picked up all stock they required back, so we will be working through the remaining KOR inventory later today and re-pricing.

Apologies the site is still crashing - maybe I didn't pay that bill! :-)

    • KOR bottles have been reduced now, be quick as there was not a lot of stock left over after the Rep collected stuff.

  • +2

please use the link below for what's been marked down already, not everything on the site has been marked down yet guys. if its less than 50% off then we ain't got to it yet. We are also delayed by the 502 Bad Gateway Error.

Website crashing/ or dead slow. I don't seem to understand how a website breaks down after an ozbargain mention (I know I can't underestimate the power of ozbargain) but geez this is not a twitter mention. Those businesses are likely hosting servers in a home garage of one of the owners :)

    • Businesses hosting server at home, that's a worry :)

By the time the website is available is already been ozbargained!

    • +1

believe it or not its supposed to be a hosted managed service that allows for extra traffic, think it could be related to our internal company issues and the reason we are closing! Its definitely not in my garage! :-(

      • According to this http://websiterecord.com/dm/outdoorgearstore.com.au (Go to the bottom of page) is is hosted in the USA.

      • +1

Lol whoever provides your server should be closing instead

      • +3

So I gather you are one of the owners. I'm sorry mate and wish your loss is reduced with this ozbargain mention.

        • cheers, yes I am one of, and we've had some good ozbargain traffic and sales today,so thanks all.

      • +2

        Main things i really want:

        1. $60 socks for $5.

        2. Finding out about these 'internal company issues'.

EDIT: me no getting anywhere with website … darn it.

        • i think they've fixed it now, seems to be responding well, constantly - for now!

    • Earthman I think you underestimate the power of ozbargain. That and some hosting providers are just plain crap, stuck in the 90's.

      • -1

Thanks for the response. Is pickup still viable today, or are you only shipping? If so, how does it work with the forced ship charge?

  • I posted an order but no where did it ask for the $9.95 shipping fee… Total order was > $100

OP, I have a query about my order and have sent you a PM.

With your positive attitude, I'm hoping whatever endeavour you undertake next will be a raging success. Wishing you the very best.

  • Hi Rep… PM Sent

  • Yesterday the Magellan 310 was listed as:

    OUR PRICE: $229.00
    RRP: $249.00

    Today :

    OUR PRICE: $199.00
    RRP: $319.00

Was this done to give the appearance of a greater discount (38%)?

    • +1

It was done to try and incorporate the FREEBIES we've added because the discount was showing at 17% and obviously everything else is 50%+ off.

What we did was added the value of the FREEBIES ($60 from memory) to each bundle price, but we also took an extra $10 off the Sale Price from memory, so the actual purchase price today should still be less than yesterday, it just looked "odd" on the site.

      Any probs, let me know

  • Hi Rep. Tried to order Online an don't know if it order went through… PM Sent

  • Thanks for the regular updates Rep - I've ordered a bunch of things already.

Please keep the updates coming as you add more stock to the sale.
