    Something doesn't add up.

      Its possible but humming could caused by many factors.
      You could try isolating any power adapters to different loops. Ie run a long extension from somewhere not on the same fuse.
      Check all grounds with a plug tester.
      Check speaker wire polarites.

    Yes they have been reduced from time to time.
