  • getting cheaper every post (for me with AMEX promo)
Edit: can we throw in anything $6 in the cart and use WELCOME to bring it down to $60?

    • Yes, as long as the total spend is $150. For example add some socks like these then use the WELCOME voucher and your final cart total will still be just over the $150 mark.

  • Is that AMEX promo still available?

  • +1

There was a Harvey Norman ad on TV today selling the U solo for $144 - $60 cash back - $30 Amex credit = $54.

    • +2

Sounds better except for risking being called a professional at HN

    • AMEX $30 have to total spend $150 or more.

      • $150 for DJ and $120 for HN

    • +2

      Don't forget the $5 HN welcome code = $49

      • and subtract the number you first thought of….

    I ordered this for $94.56.

Delonghi Nespresso "U" Pure Black Solo - Excluding Aeroccino
    Braun Vitality Floss Action Toothbrush
    3 x Lavazza Lavazza Appassionatamente 7.5g X16

This is WELCOME, WOW20, TREATME5, $60 back from Nespresso & $30 back from Amex. You can replace the toothbrush and pods for things of same value.

    • Good point. Spend a little more and you can bring the WOW20 voucher into the equation. Doesn't WOW20 finish today?

  • Don't forget the AMEX deal can be spent in multiple transactions. I would probably apply both DJ vouchers in one transaction just for this machine. And then make another order for something around $50 and apply the two vouchers again.

    • Although, daveaus' trick is actually $5 cheaper when wow20 comes into play in a single transaction.

  • Oh what a dilemma… I don't actually need a new coffee machine as I am happy with my ALDI one but I am finding it hard to resist the urge to purchase lol

  • HN don't have this online for the $144

    I can't find it

  • Throw in 2 pair of socks for $7.7. Then add "Welcome" voucher. You end up paying only $61.77

In theory, you should add anything above $6 below $10 to get the price cheaper with "Welcome" code.

The socks I bought are: Bonds Super Logo Sport Low Cut Socks Pack of Two White/Grey 6-10 (Regular)

  • I have a AMEX frm CBA. Do I need to register it to get $30 credit?

  • This machine is good.

Got it with the DJ's sale. Very easy to use and a decent fast (black) coffee with the right pods.

    • there's been a lot of reviews that it breaks down quite quickly etc .. you've had no issue's?

      • No issues after 3 weeks.

It has 12 months warranty PLUS it was only $84 ;)

    • Any recommendations for the right pods?

  • Wait so this doesn't come with a frother? Dang

    • I guess some people like the fact they can save $100 toward a better or cheaper frother.

      • some people drink coffee without milk in it.
@ranma, buy this and get a free milk frother from a Nespresso shop when you buy the 500 pods welcome pack (some said a free milk frother with 250 pods welcome pack).

    • +1

People on whirlpool suggest the ikea milk frother, its $4 and looks a whole lot easier to clean. The ones that come with these get milk burnt on the bottom.

      • milk burnt only if you don't clean it after each use. Otherwise it is easy to clean too.

  • @wtfnodeal - Where did you see the "free milk frother from a Nespresso shop when you buy the 500 pods welcome pack" Couldn't find it on the nespresso site?

    • +1

you won't see it anywhere except for walk into the Nespresso shop and ask for it.

      • Wouldnt 500 pods cost like.. $500?

        • That I don't know but avg of 75 cents a pod should be around $350. Yeah it is a fair bit of money but if you want 1 year of Nepresso pods supply then why not buy them now and get the milk frother for free? Maybe you can share some of them with friends and families if you cannot drink them all in 1 year.

        • You can purchase the woolworths frother for $30 and they currently have LOR espresso pods for $5 / 10 pack.

      • Thx!

    • I was in the nespresso shop yesterday. They give the aeorcino with the 250 pod welcome pack. The aerocino was worth $69 I think and the pod pack is $179. They have another offer where you buy much less pods (can't remember exactly how many) and you get pod holder free

      • Would you mind uploading the receipt? I remember the Nespresso shop in Perth CBD needs me to buy 500 pods to get the aeorcino for free which I highly doubt I could finish within a year of shelf life.

        • This is the Welcome Offer for new club members only.

250 mixed pack and Totem - $179 (online or instore)

250 mixed pack and Aeroccino - $179 (appears to be instore only)

150 mixed pack and perspex cube - $107 (online or instore)

The Aeroccino is the old version and not the new Aeroccino3.

  • Sorry I didn't buy it - I just saw the offer. It is the Robina store on the Gold Coast if you want to phone up

    • No worries, will try to ask nicely if they can do the same as the robins store.
