    • +1 vote

i think it's everywhere, like last time ;). It's worth a trip to a store anyway, for cheap iTunes lol

    •

      I even got it online ( 1 + 1 Free )

  • +4 votes

Will it be online as well as per usual?

  • +15 votes

wow, something worth reading in the herald sun.

  •

Just saw the deal in the Adelaide Crowvertiser

  • +2 votes

Mistake in title, only 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (not 2:00 PM)

  • +2 votes

You should be able to price match at Officeworks and get 5% off. That's what I've done the last couple of times this promotion ran. :)

what did you show as proof?

      • +22 votes

what did you show as proof?

taking a stab at this but possibly the advertisement

      • -2 votes

You meant to say, what would you show as proof?

        • +8 votes

He said he has done it before hence the 'did'. If you are going to correct someone, do it properly.

        •

          well said Fincky.

        • +1 vote

I get very finicky over these things :D

  • +1 vote

With these deals, I wonder what's the seller margin for these cards. Surely HN not selling them at a loss?

    • +7 votes

I used to sell to Harvey Norman. Believe me they never sell anything at a loss.

The Vendor (in this case Apple) will have done a deal with them. Same with stuff like Cameras sold at supper hot prices. The vendor gives them a rebate.

      • +1 vote

yeh promos like this are earned thru high levels of iTunes card sales

      • +2 votes

what is the best way to get a good deal on a TV from HN? do you have any tricks you can share? :)

        •

i want a new TV but i'm holding off until Boxing Day sales!

        • +2 votes

Alternatively, Research tv's and when it turns on OzBargain, buy it. :)

      •

While you are correct in this case, you are wrong by saying they never sell anything at a loss. I know for a fact they do.

  •

Is this can be purchase online as last time? Save time to drive to HN store.

    •

Last time I did, and it worked. I kept all documents ready to complain to the shop, but I found 2 cards in the envelope.

    Nationwide?

  • +1 vote

Thanks heaps OP. Going to club this with AMEX deal of "Spend $120 or more at HN, get $30 credit"

    •

      Limit 1 deal per customer

      •

"Spend $120 or more on the saved Card in one or more transactions at Harvey Norman before 31/1/14"

still will help, only $100 to go ;)

        •

"Offer excludes: Sleep NumberĀ®, Miele, Falcon, NEFF, AEG, ASKO, St George, Fargor, De Detrich, Elica and Apple products."

Not sure iTunes Card count as Apple products.

  •

Can anyone confirm its valid nationwide?

  •

    not available online?

  •

    any promotional code for online?

  •

    what it means by :

Can we just walk out after bought it, and walk in again to buy same thing, and repeat it several times :D

    •

        •

          the day after tomorrow……..

  •

Well that makes sense then. But they did confirm its NSW as well so I guess not a wasted trip

  • +2 votes

It's in the Couriermail (QLD) page 17 so applies in Qld by the look of it

  •

Is this also showing online website so I can show at Officeworks? Usually they need to see the website the file uploaded isn't enough unless heaps of people start going to ow doing it then it will be recognised. Or this catalogue is claimable at HN stores?

  •

Definitely Nationwide - part of tomorrows Super Saturday specials

  • +3 votes

It's nationwide. and the online store will offer the same promotion for the first 1000 customers. open time is between 10am-12pm. 'quote from a HN rep'

hope this clarify everything :) gl everyone! hope the queue doesn't get smashed up at my local HN store tomorrow

    •

Can't imagine 1000 would last long.

      Anyone know their delivery cost?

      •

        Around $3 ?

        •

Last time it was $3, confirmed on my invoice.

        •

I ordered on line last time, cost was $3 from memory. I would have wasted far more than $3 of my time lining up at HN!

  •

Just buy your content from the US store. It's almost 2 for 1 everyday ;). If only these cards could be redeemed on any store…

    •

      Not for apps.

      •

        iTunes card not for Apps?

  •

    Wrong day to sleep in.

  •

    •

  •

There are 3 officewoeks in city cbd :p

  • +2 votes

Did anybody tried to check if they are in stock at your areas today?
    check this out:
    I have tried post code 4101 @
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=itune...
    and the results were:
    Fortitude Valley Out of stock
    Everton Park Out of stock
    Carindale Out of stock
    Interesting, isnt it?

    •

From my reading of previous deals, you can safely ignore the stock levels as each store will have plenty. The result you get from the stock checker depends on whether the store has any cards pre-activated or not.

      • +1 vote

OUr store ran out of cards last time so they just gave me the receipt with the code on it.

  • +1 vote

Does anyone have a full scan of the ad? I'm hearing a rumour that they're having 25% off TVs

    • +1 vote

looks like the discount deal prices have been applied to h/n's website to the applicable tv models getting any discount.

  • +1 vote

When are they going to do similar for GOOGLE PLAY Cards?

    • -1 vote

      When that shi* becomes popular.

      Ducks for cover ;-)

    • +2 votes

They have better deals for google play most of the time. Its called a telstra sim pack, $10 gets you $30 credit for play store. That beats this deal…

Here's the link online, pick up instore only, no mailing out this time

    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/itunes-gift-card-174556.html

    •

Damn, Last time I did 5 different orders and got them all posted.
Looks like you can order online and pickup instore.

I'll try ordering multiple with pickup as they can't say no when i go to pick them up can they?

    •

Do you think we can order now, seeing that the link is up, or wait until after 10am. Given it's 9.30am now?

    •

Shows as out of stock everywhere in VIC

    •

Show as Out of Stock all 3 stores around my area in NSW 2070

    • -3 votes

      Link no longer works.

  •

How would that work for backwards qld without daylight saving, will they have to wait an extra hour?

  •

Looks like you can only order 1 per account

  •

Just got one, the website was pretty fast!

  •

'Your transaction was blocked due to Risk or 3D Secure blocking rules' :(

  •

Do I need to go into the store between 10-12 or can I pick it up any time?

  • +1 vote

Forget about going to Officeworks. No use. They are not pricematching

    •

Eventually got them to approve a pricematch but they refused to apply the further 5% discount.

  •

seems can choose to shipping, but $6 delivery fee.

    •

It allows me to choose shipping but it is $3. Runs a high chance of cancellation though, I would imagine, given that it is pretty clearly stated instore pickup only.

  •

Just ordered one online for pick-up.

  •

I only added 1 to the cart, but now thinking are we meant to add 2 to the cart?

    • +1 vote

      You need to add two

      • -1 vote

No only one. You get the second one as bonus.

    •

yes, you need to add 2 to the cart to see the discount

    •

pretty sure you only need to add 1

      •

If you add 2 to the cart it comes to $40. Fairly certain you only add one, they will include the bonus one for you.

        •

You still see the buy one get one bonus if you enter one card.

      •

^ this. That's what I did last time this was on; June 2013 from memory.

    •

      From the Overview page:

Add 2x $20 iTunes Cards to your shopping cart and get the 2nd as a BONUS! Hurry! 2 hours only, while stocks last!

      •

thanks going to cancel it and re-order.

        •

no need - I only added 1 and it worked fine. Just check yours came up with the $20 discount and there are 2 on your receipt

  • +1 vote

Yesterday postage was $1.95 for iTunes now it's $6…

  •

Just wondering, what if I place a new order with another two cards? will they not allow me to pick it up?

  •

Can you order for pick up, and pick up outside the time window of 10.00-12.00

    • +1 vote

Yes. You don't need to pick up today.

    • +2 votes

yes, they will send you another email when it is available for you to pick up.

    •

This is what I want to know, my local store came up no stock.

  • -1 vote
