To be eligible for the $100 ANZ Visa Gift Card, you must apply for the ANZ Income Protection Policy by calling us on 1300 269 111 or online at anz.com/myincome; your ANZ Income Protection policy must be current on the first policy anniversary date; and you must have paid all premiums when due. You will receive your card up to 6 weeks after the first policy anniversary date.

I agree, i don't think you're going to receive the gift card unless you actually sign up, unfortunately

ive had this before, apply for the 10,000 QFF points and got a $6 a month plan, after 6 months (min length of the contract thing) I cancelled and I got the qff points.

So this wont be a scam as long as you click from the website referral.

wouldn't most people use their super fund to purchase income/life insurance?

the rates seem expensive for the cover so it's doubtful whether you'll even break even with an extra $100 compared to other providers

    • could you "double" your cover. use this and use your super fund income protection?

The page doesn't say you get a gift card "for simply applying." The point is that you get the gift card if you apply for and then sign up before December 31 (e.g. if you apply next year and sign up you won't get the gift card).

It's pretty clear on the page's terms and conditions, and a stretch to call it false advertising.
