Do games purchased from AMAZON US work on the DSE PS4? Is there a region lock?
no region lock. the only problem is if you have a AU psn account only, you can't redeem code from US. you can just create a US account though, so should be fine

I ordered just b4 9:00am if I don't get a thursday dispatch I'm going to be really pissed. I got fkd over by the whole giftcard not being sent bs in December.
This is a scam I reckon, Dicksmith use to do deal like these, and they takes people money, without any delivery, people are having to chase them to get refund, which takes weeks. During those while the money they could earn from interest. Anyway best bet is to pay by PayPal, anything goes wrong, lodge a dispute.
Orders before 3pm will be shipped on Thursday…so two days of interest! Filthy SCAMMERS!

You'd have to be under a rock not to know the PS4 is much more well received than the Xbone.
I saw a funny response to that offer that MS have, it said "keep your PS3 and save $100 by ignoring Microsoft and buying a PS4", of course that's the American price, it's less of a price difference for us.

Very bad experience with Dick Smith. I placed an order yesterday(11/02 the last day for the offer). After Receiving the confirmation email, I got the order cancelled email. It said the transaction failed due to security issue.
Today I called DS regarding the issue, they said that my transaction detail did not pass DS's own security check and it had nothing to do with my credit card. And they could not provide any exactly reason but suggested possible fraud prevention.
I am so curious, since when did DS become a regulator company?
I'd guess the truth. DS could not afford the 10% discount any more and lies to the customers.That really sucks. Are they willing to still provide you with the 10% discount if you place another order? I wonder if anyone else experienced this issue.

I bought the PS4 and a controller at around 9:30am, controller came in the mail today (although they were in separate orders). Basically next day delivery is not what I was expecting after a sale like this.

I was bored so called their customer care. They haven't received any stock yet (at their warehouse) to ship out. He said that they might receive it this week. I was planning to play some this weekend, well… :-(

Went by JB hi fi today and they have stock now at full price.
Received an email about 20 minutes ago, the PS4 controller I ordered at the same time will be dispatched today, but the PS4 is 'on backorder' with no approximate dispatch date noted anywhere.

Just got mine too. No packaging, just the PS4 box. I ordered a second controller too, and it came in a rather large box. I can hear it sliding all around in there when I pick it up.
