    The unit don't have the "work during blackout" feature. Not sure whether you can mount it on the wall. Anyway, it's a good price if you're after a quad set cordless phone with answering machine.

  UNIDEN hmmmm!!!

  Suggest folks do a google review before buying.

  I purchased the 8055 set and the sound quality is absolute CRAP.
  Speaker phone is like a kids walkie talkie set…..CRAP.
  I then googled it and found numerous complaints about exactly the same thing.

  Pay a bit more an get say Panasonic.
