    How do you do this through the android app? I think it's only available to those with Google Voice which is US only?

    Does anyone know how to dial US 1800 numbers using hangout? I need to call citibank US and the app says the number 001118003749700 is not on google hangout.

      Also missed the old phone call feature. It is not compatible with the new Hangout extension of Chrome under Windows. There is a feature to revert to the old google chat. Just select that.

    This seems to work from the hangouts chrome extension for me but I can't get it to work from my hangouts app on Android. Has anyone been able to get it to work? I do have my language set as English(US).

    I get a computer voice telling me that they don't support calls from international numbers.

      Maybe it is not available on the Android app. Admittedly, I haven't tried on an app.

    Has anyone been able to get this to work on iOS? On my iPhone 4S, the dial pad is disabled and I can't make any phone calls. Thanks
