    Not sure about Lunapark Mel, but my experience with the Sydney one is, if it's free, then Pay nothing to QUEUE a full day for any popular ride.

      AFAIK, it is free to enter but you have queue to pay for the rides.

        You are right riles… with a fairly limited number released, usable over a decent range of days the joint won't be flooded with an unusually large number of dudes on any one single day (which would blow out the lines/waiting times for rides, ruining things for all).

        Smart thinking on this Lunar Park… :) Much appreciated.

        I reckon it will work very well as a method of attracting subsequent paying customers in the future too, when the weather warms up. Us OzBargainers are generally quite an appreciative lot, so if we genuinely enjoy something we are kindly given for free, we do not hesitate to tell our mates about it. Or maybe in some cases, bring them along for half price, splitting the over-all cost for 4 dudes with them on the back of our 2 free-tickets!

        I was lucky enough to score here on your kind offer, and I will be using the 2 free tickets to enable 4 of us to attend for half-price each. I hope a few others do this, and that it encourages you to "unleash" a similar offer on OzBargain again soon!

    Why do they mention that it's not valid on "school holidays" in the T&C? Is it "generally accepted" in industry-land that the current school term in VIC is:

    Term 3: 14 July to 19 September

    Thus, it does not apply?

    Thanks again OP!! Had a super day there today with my partner, 5 year old and 3 year old. If you get there around 1100, when they open, queues are virtually non-existent until around 1230 when it starts to get a bit busier.
