      • Quite sure its tea.

It has 'Lipa Tea' on the box.

        • +1

          I wouldn't drink it though

OnePlus Heroin. Has a nice ring to it (pun intended).

No phone delivered to me yet. Auspost still says its in NSW since 1pm yesterday. I hold small hope that it comes this afternoon (Adelaide).

        OnePlus Hero-One

      • Same destination and same message on Australia Post. Looks like maybe tomorrow now, but I'd love to be wrong.

Hello from my One plus One!

Amazing phone!! Even better than I expected.

  • Good to hear some have been delivered! Have been trying to get in contact for a couple of days now with no word back.

  • damn, this thing is big compared to my Nexus 5 haha - rooting etc now to test it out properly ;)

    • -1

      if u root

which bootloader are u flashing to get root?

why do u need to root, i thought it was root already?

can u still put cynagenmod 11s?

      • Hmm, you don't need to flash a bootloader, just unlock it. Then flash a custom recovery and use that to flash supersu for root. Reason I'm rooting is to restore my apps and data from my nexus 5. No it's not already rooted, and it comes preloaded with cm11s so not sure what you mean by that.

        • i mean u root it
          u need to wipe data

          u need to reinstall cm11s?

          r u using titanium backup?

        • @tyler.durden: no, you don't need to reinstall cm11s. and yes, using titanium backup.

  • haha this is so painful, they told me they had one ready for me last friday but they still havent even marked it as sent or given me details, but people have already started receiving theirs that were sent friday. gahhh.

  • +2

BTW I received a AUS power converter with mine. No heroin tea or nano sim converter.

    Love this phone!!!!

    • post a pic of the converter and charge please

how long it takes to charge?

post some camera and video shots please

      • Charging from 0% at the moment. 70% in 1 hour

This is what the adapter looks like.
        http://www.suc-c7.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9d…

The OPO Charger I received is the US version, exactly like this:
        http://www.androidheadlines.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/O…

        • 100% charge in under 2 hours

        • @millzy: Did you use the OPO charger with the adapter or just an Australia usb wall plug?

        • @Annoying Source:

I used the supplied US OPO charger, OPO red USB cable & supplied US to AU converter.

I'm thinking about bending the pins on the US OPO charger for AU use, apparently it's easy.

        • @millzy:

          why not wait a while

incase u need to return it?

I wonder if a non opo USB AU charger would be just as fast?
And we won't need to AU converter…

        • @tyler.durden:

          Why would I return it?

It's 100% perfect. Not one single issue.

        • @millzy:

          never know what could occur..

maybe it becomes faulty or whatever reason….

          why act so quick?

        • +2

@tyler.durden: When you have a fault with a product you don't have to return the accessories unless it is part of the problem

  • with those that got their delivery today what did auspost tracking update to?
after received by auspost at chullora NSW

was it the standard with driver for delivery today etc?

    • +1

mine is at Sunshine post today 3pm, previous one was at Chullora NSW on Monday afternoon. Probably get it tomorrow morning or noon :D

  • For anyone that's received theirs - have any of you got the yellow band issue?

    • or dead pixel?

wat is their warranty for these issues?

      • +3

No dead pixels, or yellow band issues. The phone is better than i thought it would be. never going back to apple.

    • Chinese Version does not have the yellow bands issue, so no.

      • It can. Just have a look at the official forums. Chinese version is not exempt.

        • the fix i saw is to put it under UV lamp or sunlight for a few hours should fix it

  • Auspost is still saying CHULLORA NSW from Monday afternoon. I really hope its been sent to Adelaide for delivery today.

    • Same deal here, except mine has to come even further to Perth. Will be surprised if it gets here this week at this stage :/

      • I'm waiting for mine to be delivered in perth too
got notification received by auspost in chullora on monday afternoon

hope it gets here in a day or two..

      • Exactly in the same boat…

    • Mine is the same…and also their online tracking is keep saying Service unavailable, only some time in the day it show at Chullora….so decided to call AusPost on their helpline and after abut 20min on hold what they told me is the parcel request was lodge with them at Chullora on Mon however the actual parcel was received on Tue afternoon, so from that point on it could be anywhere between 1 to 4 days…..

  • anyone who bought on tuesday got their shipping notice?

    • Me neither; bought on Tuesday and no response to my inquiry from 2 days ago

    • Nope, ordered tuesday night, no reply to two messages I've sent them … after ordering they sent a message saying it would be shipped within 5 business days which would be by today… fingers crossed… really looking forward to getting this phone

  • I bought mine monday night and still no confirmation or reply in regards to delivery. I can understand the delay, but no more information from DWI about shipping is concerning me.

    • Agreed…

    • Yep, have been trying to get in touch for a few days. Just want to be kept in the loop.

  • Has anyone else struggled a little bit with figuring things out in the operating system because of how minimalist it is? It's seems to be quite confusing but the more I use it the more I enjoy it.

In my opinion it is worth every cent of the of the $390 I paid, much faster and snappier that I had expected

Welcome to the pure Google experience :-)

      • Thing is I have a 2013 Nexus 7 and using it from my Samsung s3 wasn't really that different, This however is much different but it's a really good different

        • I don't find it all that different coming from the nexus 5. That said I do use custom ROMs on all my devices so that's probably why. Almost not tempted to flash a custom ROM, but there's a few features that I'm missing.

        • @beaver2233:

          like?

        • @tyler.durden: mostly assigning long press actions to the navbar (immersive mode). Most of the stuff is actually here though on cm11s, were a few I thought were missing but just found them.

        • @beaver2233:

          what rom u like best?

also is there any apps that can do something similiar to activator on iphone?

        • @beaver2233: Fair enough, I have always been meaning to use a custom rom but never got around to installing it

        • @tyler.durden: for the oneplus one it'd be mahdi ROM from what I've heard/read. Most other phones I usually use slimkat

        • @beaver2233:

does it allow cpu / gpu overclock?

we need a different kernel for overclock?

        • @beaver2233: Mahdi is also reviewed highly on the Whirlpool Nexus 5 custom ROM thread, probably a good place to start

  • Just bought this Car Mount, hopefully holds up!

      black sandstone won't stick..
      since it is like sandpaper

let us know how it goes…

I still don't think this is safe

if u hard break or crash, the thing could come off…

      • I think the key feature here is "magnets". You put a metal plate under the back plate of your phone, and it sticks to the mount's magnets.

        • u mean open the back of the opo, and put that metal circle it?

          don't magnet affect electronics/batteries/screen..

          and they cause induction

        • @tyler.durden:

          Interesting article

          "No Harm to Phone

Some people are scared of using a magnetic mount because they’re worried the magnet will damage their phone, but it won’t. Magnets have developed a reputation for being dangerous around computer components, but the components in your phone are different. A regular computer hard drive can have its memory wiped by magnets, but phones use flash memory, which uses solid state chips that won’t be affected by magnets. Magnets have also been known to ruin monitors and television screens, but those were the old CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) screens, and cell phones use LCD screens. So if the convenience of a magnetic phone mount sounded appealing but you were afraid of what it might do to your phone, you shouldn’t be afraid anymore. Purchase a mount, browse cellphonecases.com for cheap iPhone 5 cases, and slip that magnet right between the case and your phone."

  • Hey, for those that ordered Monday night - just got this..

"With regard to your order, we firstly would like to apologies for the delay in replying to your message and processing your order. Unfortunately, we have receive a large number of order during eBay's promotion which has caused the delay. However, we would like to confirm that your order has been processed and it will be dispatching shortly today. Once we receive the tracking, we will update it to eBay for your reference"

Looks like some more stock has arrived. Fingers crossed for delivery by weeks end.

    • thanks for the update. personally still have not heard anything.

      • Could well have been smoke, haven't had anything further from them.

  • Has anyone got any further progress from At Chullora on Mon….mine is still stuck at the same status and now it been over 48hr at that centre…..is Austpost slow at dispatch or their systems are slow updating……..

    • I have the same here. No updates. I'm in South Australia too.

      • +2

Spoke to AustPost…..and luckily got through to lovely lady who put in extra effort in checking status…

In a nut shell, parcels ware lodge at Chullora bulk parcel centre, hence status updates are behind on website however she confirmed both of my parcel have moved out and flag for delivery on 25th but mostly likely it will be tomorrow

        • -1

might give auspost a ring tomorrow as well then given that mine have been the same - stuck at chullora since monday arvo

do you just call the general auspost number? Australian contact: 13 POST (13 7678)

        • +1

@lemoo: I call 131318 and then went for customer service consultant option…..to speak to real person….if u chose the tracking option u get the same automated response what we are seeing on website…..

        • @alfa3276:

sweet thanks will give the a call tomorrow morning!

        • called auspost this morning and they could only confirm it will be delivered today/tomorrow so that's some good news at least!

  • This is ridiculous. Will DEFINITELY give them negative feedback. Have not received item within time frame that they said they would deliver it by, nor have they replied to any messages. Very poor service from this "eBay Premium Seller".

    • i thought so too, but realistically over 400 orders were on the 64gb black, but theres the other 3 listings for just this phone alone, which they have to root and flash cyanogen to.
but i definitely agree they are very unorganized, they said there was a phone ready to post for me friday but they need my number so i replied with my number twice and they ask me again the same question, so i replied again which they finally read, but then they say they are waiting for me to confirm my post code???
      ridiculous indeed.

      • Well I think their lack of communication is reason enough to leave negative feedback. I ordered the 16gb White one, and it's been stuck in NSW since Monday morning.

Why do they want all that extra information from you?! What is going on DWI!

  • Well, this just came in.

We are pleased to inform you that your order has dispatched from our warehouse.
Please take note that it may take up to 48 hours for respective courier to update the status of the shipment in their website. Should you have any enquiries in regard to your order, please contact us by quoting your order ID:#############

    • Just got dispatch notification as well. 64 GB Black ordered on Monday night.

      • I also just got notified of shipment. I ordered the 64GB White on Tuesday.

        • I wonder if we'll get them by the weekend…

        • @dinalt: I doubt it!

    • same here. finally. hopefully by friday.

  • Finally got shipping notice

    What courier are they using?

Will anyone leave a neg since it is outside of their date delivery as stated on the order details ?

    • mine has an auspost tracking number..

      • -1

        I don't really like auspost

sometimes they leave items outside your door without requiring signature

        • That mostly comes down to the sender…

        • Really? I have never experienced that before, they always leave a note to pick it up from my nearest Post Office if I miss a delivery.

        • depends on whether or not the parcel is registered or not and requires signature and or id

      • +1

Tracking numbers are useless as you will usually receive before it is updated on the website. They are only good in the exceptional circumstances when the item is lost and can be tracked down.

  • +2

Another update with my phone, I was having touch screen problems and ghost touching (where the screen will think you touched it even tho you didn't or touched it in a different place to where you actually touched it) that affects fast typing and multi touch but fortunately for me it is a common software issue where the cache isn't cleared but this is very easily fix with a reboot. Best way to see if you have this problem is by trying to zoom in and out on a web page.

But as I was on the OPO forums trying to figure that problem out (All the pages are white) I noticed a yellow tint in the bottom half of my screen, So yes the Chinese version is not exempt from this problem and I hope with prolong exposure to the sun it will clear up. It really isn't that noticeable unless you are on a completely white page.

Over all I am still very happy with the phone especially for the price, if I couldn't fix the multi touch issue I would have returned it as it was getting increasingly frustrating but it is now fixed. I knew it wasn't a perfect phone when I decided to buy it but I am ever so glad that I bought it from ebay with paypal in case something does happen down the track because Oneplus Support is apparently terrible and there is basically no warranty

    • thanks for the update

    • Well DWI provide one year warranty so I don't really care about the OPO support.

      • Yeah that's why I'm glad I bought it from DWI and not Oneplus directly

    • I don't have the yellow band issue. Nice white crisp screen from top to bottom.

Can anyone else confirm if they have the issue?

  • Mine got delivered this morning (I ordered within 15 mins when the ebay deal was activated)
Can't wait to check it out…

  • +1

seriously can't get over how good the battery life is on this compared to my nexus 5!

    • Yes overall battery seems to be very good - but not as good as LG G2 :)

    • I know exactly what you mean, used it all of yesterday (and I text a lot) was only down to 49% when I went to bed. My Galaxy s3 would have run out by then

  • +1

Just got mine! FINALLY! No yellow screen at all. Thing is massive- moving for an iPhone 4s…eek!

  • GREAT, Aus Post just told me my parcel is missing. Apparently it was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday but hasn't been scanned into the regional office. I received shipping confirmation on Friday (19th) and the tracking was showing it as scanned at

    Mon 22/09/14 08:07
Received by Australia Post at CHULLORA NSW

I suggest if you are in a similar boat call 131318, choose inquire about tracking and then other (dial 4) to speak to a human representative.

    • Oh god mine is the exact same as yours. Might ring them now.

      • I rang them and they can't even see the Tracking number on their system !!!

    • That sucks!!!!!!!

I feel for you guys. I hope they show up.
