Thanks OP, picked up a macbook pro 15 retina. $2999 retail, got 10% off, then used my commbank points and walked away paying $2400 :) awesome. I'll sell my 11 inch MacBook air i7 and should swap over for under $2000

Someone always seems to have 10% off so don't sweat it if you miss this deal.
Getting more than 10% is rare (Dick Smith have had 14% off before) or requires combining deals such as getting Big W/Myer/The Good Guys gift cards at a discount.
concur 10% off is generally the max off, any more is rare.
Can confirm I had no issues using the 7.5% off big w e-gift cards to buy $200 Myer giftcards at Woolworths (Big W only has max $100 myer gift cards). Used 6 gift cards together on a macbook air 13" at Myer. Went straight from Woolworths to Myer and the cards were activated.
Heads up - "no issues" is not 100% true. Woolies had a $500 limit per transaction on gift cards, and I had to go to the service desk to purchase them all. There was only one guy working when I went, and a queue of smokers was growing behind me as the myer gifts cards were being put through on split transactions, paid by gift cards that were entered manually, and they will activate the myer gift cards for you individually at the counter too. And then finally putting 6 gift cards through at Myer takes time too…

All gift cards are supposed to be excluded from Family & Friends offers but people found out that it worked on the day. That probably won't happen again.
