    then that must have had 2GB too (according to the discussion about upgrading it to 4GB) and it was more expensive than this one.

    So if that was the deal you refer to then I don't see that it was better.

    With a 32-bit OS, there will be little difference having 4GB vs 2GB of RAM. 4GB is only really needed for 64-bit OSes or if you need that much for a specific application.
