  • Hi OP, did you find any bargains?

  • Must exclude bulky items too I would think

    • Just tested this and yeah, it excludes bulky items.

  • +3

Can this be used with "THANKYOU" $10 coupon code?

    • +2

I tried that but I could only get one coupon to work at a time :(

    • Or $8 BDAY code?

      • +2

"BDAY" expired at the end of 2014.

        • Damn I don't think I used it the three times I could.

    • +1

Only one works at a time - if you apply 2nd, 1st would disappear.

    • +3

THANKYOU for the THANKYOU hint… :)

I've used the Facebook one, earlier, and then my wife wanted few things more, but once you used the voucher it's gone… Turns out, the THANKYOU is even better than the Facebook one (dozens of cents, but c'mon)… :)

    • Cheers OP, and raymen709 for the THANKYOU reminder :)

  • i just found out you cant stack this code with the THANKYOU code bummer!! >:(

    • -8

Can you please explain how to stack the THANKYOU and FACEBOOK500K codes together. I tried and can only use one code .
      Thanks

      • +13

Don't worry, I have misread your comment

  • Don't tell me- Eneloops.

    • speakers look interesting - any owner here, they worth?
Amazon reviews look good for the price.

  • +11

Meh even after free shipping the bargains suck

  • Worked on the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate BF4 edition which is already really cheap.

  • +1

    Finish Quantum Powerball 80pack $19.70 = 24.6c per tab.

    • +3

      24c is not cheap

      • Out of curiosity, what is cheap for Quantums?

      • +1

24.6c will have to do for now…

        • Agreed. Below 25c is the point at which I stock up.

  • +12
    • Isn't that just a way to get cheap items not bargains

      • +6

Cheap item is a bargain :p. It helps especially when the postage is free, you can get $2 items for $2, and don't have to worry about "Oh I am buying a $2 item and paying $8 shipping, mine as well buy more things worth another $20 or $30 which I don't need to justify the postage."

        • +3

COTD "Selling you 5h!T you don't need at price you can't resist"

    • +2

How do you filter out sold items?

      • Apparently you can't.

    • +2

If you start from page 182, it will give you items starting from $10.

  • Any major price drops that are worth noting?

  • +3

Grandma's birthday is coming up… The crotchless body stocking looks like a good buy.

  • +4

Just made a purchase before seeing this :(

Closer to Nature Manual Breast pump for my partner $42.99

Target and Toys R Us have it for $90.

    • +1

you can contact their customer care. very helpful.

      • +1

"… you can contact their customer care. very helpful."

Yes I have also found them (the staff at the online 'chat to us now' help) to be extremely professional/helpful in such situations. Way better than I expected, to be honest; about as good as you could expect from any online chat help service.

        • I have also had this experience when dealing with them a few times.

I wish Sports Direct was like them.

    • +2

Try online chat with a rep to see if you can get the discount.

      • +3

        Thanks for the suggestion @fchis & @charlie123

Had to cancel initial order and place a new order.

    • Don't buy manual pump, if you haven't used it before. Spend a bit more for electric pump.

      • +1

My partner has used one before so she knows what she's doing.

  • +4

COTD are smart with the way they throw $10 THANKYOU codes and separate free shipping promo codes with condition you can't apply more than one code at the same time. THANK YOU code is more or less the same as free shipping..just appealing differently to different people.

    • When does the thankyou code expire?, cant recall.

Thanks OP & the tips on the mega search hack.

      • +1

        Guess Jan end.

      • +1

"When does the thankyou code expire?"

        It expires 31jan2015

  • Thanks OP just got some Kardashian jeans:)

  • No good deals only pleb deals, post one deal which would reach high vote count on OzBargain and I will take my words back.

  • sorry, where do you enter the code? is it at the end of the checkout process?

    • +1

Yep. Need to click on blue text "Have a coupon code?"

    • +1

In the cart, above where it shows the sub total, you can click on "Have a coupon code?"

  • Not sure if it''s a price error but the LifeProof fre case for ipad mini White is only 39.95 where as the blacl/black case is $119.96

Smashed out a new 12GB PS3 from EB and just snatched a new PS3 controller, headset and HDMI cable for $15!!! THANKS CATCH!!!

  • +3

Thanks OP. Ordered quite a few items including Crocs Shoes, Finish Quantum tablets, Dove soaps and Scholl products.

For some reason, the postage showed as $9.95 and the discount was $12.18!

    • +2

      Score!

    • +1

you probably got an extra discount on one of the items

    • "For some reason, the postage showed as $9.95 and the discount was $12.18!"

The [COTD] 'lord' sometimes works in mysterious ways. A bit like the scanners at K-mart. I think it means you've been a good guy/gal.

  • Thanks OP, just bought two pairs of Footcare shoe trees, seems like a pretty good price.

Thanks OP! Grabbed a 36 pack of Oral B cross action toothbrushes. Works out to be 56c each - bargain!!! http://catchoftheday.com.au/event/44724/product/oral-b-cross…

    • -5

Are you going to resell them on Gumtree?

      • yeah, cos that's what everyone who buys in bulk does

      • +6

No luke73. Woolworths and Coles normally sell these for $4+ each and when they have half price specials, I always buy a few as my family goes through them quickly. Did you know you are supposed to replace your toothbrush every 3mths? ;)

    • Pity these are cheap knockoffs

      • I hope not. It's worth a gamble to see though. Looks better than those $1 toothbrushes at the discount store.

        • YMMV
Just that I've seen a few reporting here that weren't happy with what they received

    • did you receive your 36 pack of Oral B cross action toothbrushes?
Mine arrived today. The original packaging was bent in the middle to make it fit in the box. and I ended up receiving squished tooth brushes.
      Doesn't look appealing or Hygienic.

Shake weight for men only $9.99! https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/product/shake-weight-workou…

I wanted to buy this as an ironically crappy kris kringle gift before Xmas, but at the time, the free shipping offer excluded this. Works this time.

BTW I didn't actually buy it now because I don't wanna store it for a year until next kris kringle season. Here is a doctors review: http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/features/shake-weight-…

TLDR it's crap, doesn't do what it claims.

    • +3

If they did what they claim then half my body would look like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

  • Thanks OP :)

  • Where's those 1c chocolates when you need them :/

  • +1

Thanks OP. I purchased the 80pack of Quantum Powerball (mentioned above), 10pack Oral-B Precision Clean Replacement Heads for $29.98 and a West Coast Eagles Sherrin Size 1 Retro Football for $9.99 (12 different teams available). All free postage.

  • For some reason there is the same 8-outlet board for $19.99 as well as $24.95 http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/product/8-outlet-connexia-su…

    • Wish they had a 4-outlet + 2 USB powerboard for a smaller footprint.
      They have 4-outlet + 6 USB but it's big.
