  • Wow! Great price, bought one for USD$15 like 5 days ago. This is even better!

  • Hows allbuy ?
they also seem to have 20% if you download and use the app.
Rep can you pls confirm how does that work?

    • +1

Just bought 3 using the app. Turns out to be around 40 aud after the 20% discount. you can easily see the discount option when u get to the check out stage. Good luck.

    • Where does it say that?

      • +1

its on the same page where u have to fill in ur delivery adress. You have to use the mobile app to check out.

  • You need to download the app and sign in
when you go to pay, where you place a coupon code, if you had one, there is a box that's says something like "new friends 20% off", just tick it and it will take the 20% off

  • so one has to download an app before buying this thing?

  • You don't get the extra 20% off without using the App

  • +2

Just bought one $13.45 AUD = $10 USD.

    • From the same website/app or from somewhere else?

      • From the allbuy.com app

I highly recommend the custom apk by the russian translator:

    http://en.miui.com/thread-53761-1-1.html

It has a few extra features such as notifications for any app on your phone (e.g. set your own vibration for texts or whatsapp or whatever) + better alarm support.

Edit: Also forgot to mention the reddit thread discussing it that originally convinced me to get a miband:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/2qghux/psa_the_17_…

    • What's better about this app compared to the recommended one?

      • +1

As he said, vibration notifications for any app is the main thing. Comes in handy if your phone is on silent and not in your pocket. And even with it vibrating all the time, mine's battery is at 76% and I charged it 13 days ago, it's great

        • yeah its great… my one was charged 14 days ago, battery still at 72%

  • any windows phone support?

Yep, the idiosyncratic punctuation and the "it works excellent" style idiom failures from all the English sounding names who flocked in on 17/1/15 suggest caution to me as well…

      • +1

Address in Contact us is fake as well !

Read some comments on the reddit post and some people mentioned the existence of ones with really quickly draining batteries which may be fakes.

Obviously I have nothing to prove from this reseller, but it looks like subpar fakes are circulating in the market.

    • Btw, the OP is in the Penalty Box now. I'm not sure why though

    Out of stock:(

  • I have no idea how to post screenshots about my orders' details from allbuy, but if any1 want to see that, just PM me, i will email you.

  • What versions of Android are supported?

    • 4.4 and above.

      • Thanks. I'm getting sold out as well now. Missed it. :(

  • +1

Has anyone tried it as an alarm clock? Does it wake you up?

Newbie question, I know… But I sleep with earplugs and the vibration may solve the problem of not hearing the alarm….

    • +1

The band vibrates about 4 times, then stops. No snooze or anything but it's enough to wake me up.

      • +1

yep, enough to wake me up.

u can set up to 3 alarms, eg. one after each other if u need

      • +1

There is snooze functionality. The device detects if you are awake and out of the bed after the first alarm using pedometer. If you don't get out of bed, it triggers another alarm in 10 mins.

  • +1
  • You still can get it for ~$15
    From here https://www.allbuy.com/detail/DA8B014B-C0A1-7D5A-F626-4D79E0…
And use the 20% off from the app

  • +2

I think it's in stock again, I used the app to purchase.

    AM EXCITE

  • +1

Confirming that it's in stock again, with the 20% off its about $13Aud, can't be beaten for that. Also, less laughs from women when compared to using the pokewalker in public, so that's a bargain too really.

  • So is the site legit?

  • Sale is still active and the voucher code seems to work - if the site is all above board sounds like a great deal - about AUD $13.50 with the new user code. Can also pay through Paypal in case there's any issues. Now to just wait for 12-25 days =)

  • I have had this mi band for weeks and it's fantastic. The vibrate alarm is really good always wakes me up without disturbing my partner. I really like how it tracks my sleep and it's very accurate. The battery lasts like a month. I'm buying more as gifts.

    • +1

Alarm is okay but the band actually makes me lazier… I've since given it to my dad

      looks at app

Somewhere in the back of my mind:
oooh completed 2000 steps, burnt off a 100g lasagna, no need to go gym today…

      • I know EXACTLY what you mean. Used my Fitbit religiously first couple of weeks. Challenging my friends to "step-offs" and other step related challenges. Ended up tiring myself out from doing all the extra steps and skipped out on the gym instead.

Now I haven't completely relegated it to another family member, but Ive lowered my step goal and use it predominantly to monitor my sleep activity. Happier now :)

        • +1

I actually complete the 10000 steps without setting foot in the gym (just going to and from work), so it leaves me with the impression I've done enough exercise without going to the gym, which is completely wrong.

Sleep monitoring is a plus but for this Xiaomi band, if I dont wear it during the day it registers that I've been sleeping a large chunk of the day =(

  • Great price, but i think im just going to buy off ebay australia for $22.45 to save having to wait. Failing at ozbargain yes i know.

    • Is the eBay one the same item? Given the comments about the reliability of this site/app I would feel more conferrable paying the extra $10.

  • Battery life on this thing is phenomenal:

    http://imgur.com/BfXTjLA

    • right hand?!?? freak.

  • 10off will save you 10 percent on top of that :)

  • paying by paypal worst case scenario i get my 15$ back after 2 months

  • Does anyone know if I could put this in my pocket/shoe/somewhere concealed? I can't wear this at work and would like to hide it on my somehow.

  • I'm sure airport customs - based on what they have seen concealed over time - could give you some ideas! :-)

  • +4

Just trying out their app, looks like they process Paypal in-app, how does one tell the app is not actually a phishing attack since I need to type my paypal password into the app ?!?!?

    • Had a problem buying one. Logged into paypal and the transaction says denied. No money has been deducted from my 28 degrees and there are no authorisations

  • -3

Are these better or same as fitbitz?

  • But the app says the order is processing. So I don't know if it has gone through

  • Very impressed with my Band. Is there better version of the app for IOS ?

  • I'm tossing up between this and the 14K Apple watch….

Edit. This deal appears sold out

  • +3

This can't be a genuine product. The manufacturer sells these for 79 RMB ($16.40) in China.

    • US$20.49 at aliexpress

    • We'll only know for sure once people get their orders in 4-6 weeks.
I bought mine from Banggood for US$14.99 (~AU$19.20 at the time). It is genuine and is yet to be charged (after 3 weeks of use with SMS and call notifications ON).

This price looks very cheap but not entirely impossible - only US$2.50 less than what i paid for it. Also, 20% on top of that is from Allbuy site promo - not the seller. If it's genuine (you'll know if it only drops ~3% battery every day) this is a great deal.

My wife loves it and I'm looking to get few more for her friends and family.

    • My point is unless this seller is selling and posting them at a loss they are not real!

    • +1

Just for example, Samsung sells one of it's phone for $900, doesn't mean the same phone at good guys selling for $800 is fake.

    • it's possible they're selling them as a loss-leader. It's a retail concept where they sell something very cheap to get you in the door, with the hope that they can then convince you to buy other things that don't lose them money. ie: a bunch of people will now have the app and allbuy can start sending you emails and notifications about other products.

  • bought one.
    now i hope it's a genuine one..

  • How does this item compare with

    http://www.gearbest.com/smart-watches/pp_144809.html

    TW07 Bluetooth 4.0 Smart Bracelet"??

Not a huge fan of the look of this one, plus no screen?

    • I wasn't so sure about the looks either, but Miband does look better in real life. Even my wife likes it and is very comfortable to wear.

TW07 has only 4 days battery life and personally I don't like the looks of it. If you want a watch - just wear a watch. "All-in-one" device will have too many compromises and will be average (at best) in each aspect. Miband (especially for the price) is really good at what it does. Not perfect, but no worse than any other non-HR bands.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about the TW07 - just expressing my personal opinion ;)

      • Oh I'll pass on the 4 days, that's not very good at all, this item seems like a winner then unless you want to go all out and spend over $150 on a device that has a decent battery life span and screen.

  • It's back in stock again. Ordered one.

  • how do you get 20% off with the app ?

    • After you add the item to cart and do checkout you will get an option to either enter a promo code or select 20% off for new customer.

      • Sign up using email. Don't login with FB if you need 20% off

  • yeah i only have a promo option .. no 20% option .. i've just installed the app for 1st time

  • 不准

  • I think i just got a fake one from another site. It doesn't even fit inside the wristband lol.. I've compared it online shots and the wristband hole is much smaller when i scale the device image so the silver BE device is the same size as on the screen.

This one looks like the fake one i got.

A genuine one box is not so shallow as the silicon wristband sits upright in box with the silver device attached.

The fake one has the silver bit detached from the wristband. The wristband is lying down in the box hence the box is not so tall.

    • Well this one here is not MUCH more expensive and is in original packaging, its no $10 bargain but with 3 day shipping and people who are giving positive feedback on this sellers performance I think I'll pay the extra $5 (apparently the extra 20% off is no longer there) plus the risk of your paypal details being stolen.

      http://aud.dx.com/product/xiaomi-intelligent-bluetooth-v4-0-…

If someone thinks otherwise then please advise?

      • That's exactly the same "slim package" that people are saying may be fake. In fact, as Allbuy is associated with DX, you can see they even use the same product image.

I can't comment whether this one is fake or not, other than confirming that my genuine one (from Banggood) came in tall packaging just like @imcold suggested.

        • I also got mine from banggood, and it came in a 'cube' shaped solid carboard packaging, like in the picture:
          http://www.banggood.com/Original-Xiaomi-Miband-Bluetooth-Sma…
It came already inserted in the wristband in the packaging.

my battery life is pretty good. Not quite 30 days, more like 20, but I am using the 'enhanced' app that lets you get a bunch of vibrations and flashing LEDs for all sorts of phone notifications. I just recently bought a second from DX, but it looks like they have changed the pictures on the listing now as I was sure it had the 'real' box at the time I ordered. It only just shipped today, if it's a fake I'll be hitting up paypal for a refund.

        • Thanks for that info!

I'll just wait for a good deal to pop up from Banggood then!

  • I got mine from banggood.. I finally managed to get in.. You have to pull really hard on the strap to stretch it a bit, and force it in with all your might then it goes in.. and it can only go in if you put the prongs in first in a certain position.

Its in but its abit warped.

I seen the youtube videos putting it in should be really easy. Same as taking it out.

    • Sounds like u like to wear it really tight. I wear mine (also from banggood) loose with enough space to stick a finger under. It also makes putting it on easier. It's got no heart rate monitor so for me there's no point wearing it tightly, especially in hot weather.

      • Sorry i'm not referring to the strap around the wrist. That not the issue (here). its putting the device into silicon holder. You need two hands and a lot of force to stretch it and force it the socket.

  • Has anyone received an email saying its shipped yet?

    • Just checked the status on the Allbuy site and it says shipped on my order

      • did it show up? how long?

    • Yes, they shipped mine. Got an email for that.

      • Checked website all good thanks :)

  • You guys got yours?

    • +1

Just got mine today but it appears to be faulty, only 2 of the 3 lights work :/ (charge is on 100% but only 2/3 lights on, 'find band' and change light color both also show 2 lights only). Otherwise it seems to pair fine and the firmware updated itself on initial connection, not sure how to get the step counter working, maybe it doesn't work at night, there doesn't seem to be a proper manual anywhere.

Of note, the packaging appears to be different to what is found online (the actual unit is not pre-installed into the band as per unboxing videos, the box is also half as high but does appear to be of high quality so it could just be updated packaging)

Here is a tread on it without confirmation yet (not my photos)
      http://en.miui.com/thread-96860-1-1.html

About to contact Allbuy, lets see how good their support is…

Happy to post pics if people are interested (not sure how to here)

      • In respect of your lights, the miband sounds faulty. It should show 3 lights when fully charged & when finding band. Steps work automatically and they work at night, so again your miband sounds faulty. As for the box, there are different versions. The "new" smaller box comes with the unit not pre-installed and feels a lot cheaper that the original package. Sounds like you got that one. Overall, if the 3rd light doesn't work and it doesn't automatically count steps, you should send your miband back and get a new one.

      • Just thought I would give everyone an update (since there are a few people subscribed), it started counting after re-pairing it. Have used it for about a week now with the stock app and battery is on 87% with 1 alarm for mon-fri so looks like it will hit the 1 month mark easy so I would say it is genuine but in my case definitely faulty, light is still broken.

Contacted Allbuy on Mar 30th, got an automated response, got a cut&paste response the next day saying "We will find the best solution and reply you soon.", still waiting…

  • Also got my one yesterday, in the "short" high quality packaging. Worked all day, but after finishing setting it up properly tonight it stopped syncing with the app. Unpaired and repaired, worked for a few minutes then stopped syncing again.

Just downloading a new version of the app to see if that helps.

My previous one, which I got somewhere else in the tall cube box, is still working fine.

  • received yesterday. mine came in the small shrink-wrapped box too.
paired seamlessly & reported that battery was at 80% (having last been charged 24days ago). seems to be working well. i particularly like the vibrate function when receiving a call. my 2cents - this is impressive for $10.

  • Been testing mine out over the last few days.

Looks great and records my stuff better than Google Fit does. Like the vibrate feature for waking me up as well as for when my phone's on silent and receiving a call.

Like rarrgh I think this was a well worthwhile investment.

  • Received mine today. Everything working fine so far. Will check at the end of the day if it is counting my steps or not.

  • My band doesn't vibrate at all. Anyone else with this problem and/or found a solution? I've tried contacting Allbuy but have not heard back from them at all.
