Access More Netflix Content for Just $12 for 12 Months - Netflix Launch Day Coupon @ Uflix

1180
moarnetflix

uFlix allows users to expand their Netflix content library by switching Netflix regions. Different Netflix regions provide different content to their customers. By switching regions users can access content that is not available in their region (For example, Australia). Using uFlix users are quickly able to change their Netflix regions and access more Netflix content with the click of a button.

uFlix is a smartDNS provider, not a VPN. Because of this, your streaming speed is unaffected by us. New regions are added frequently and uFlix will be supporting HBO streaming when it is available as a stand-alone service.

Using the promo code, you will be able to sign up to our 12 month access plan for just $12!

Promo ends 25/03/2015 @ Midnight.

Enjoy!

  • When signing up the site says $12 for 12 months - plus 2 months free. So is that 14 months for $12 ?

    • Hi belbo,

No, the two months free means that when you purchase a 12 month subscription, it is normally $24 if paid monthly. Paying for 12 months up front only costs you $20, effectively giving you two months access for free.

      Thanks.

      • Well it is small potatoes and the offer ends tonight - but you might want to revisit that wording - I think it is slightly misleading.

  • Just wondering if the Apple TV issue has been sorted? Thanks

    • Hi Mrlai,

Yes, the Apple TV issue has been sorted.

      Thanks.

    • Hi Mrlai2,

We have tested Apple TV on our end and the problem seems to be solved.

      Thanks.

  • I just spent another hour trying to get this to work, but failed miserably every time on both my PC and PS3. Your settings page shows that my IP is authorised, the DNS settings have passed and the region is set to the US, but everytime I logon to Netflix on either device, it takes me to the australian region.

As a test to prove (to myself) that I'm not an idiot, I signed up to Getflix and went through the setup (which is basically the same way as your website), logged on to Netflix and it took me to the US region first time (on both my PC and PS3).

For whatever reason, I (and others in this thread) can't get this to work. Frankly, I couldn't be bothered going through your help desk when I know I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm done.

Having said this, others here are obviously having success, so to them, this is obviously a good deal. :)

    • Sorry about the problems you are having starionx,

If you are willing to open a support ticket we can look further into the issue for you.

      Thanks.

  • I have an Amazon Fire TV, I dont see this on the setup page though, will this work?

    • +1

      Hi there,

Sorry, we do not officially have support for that device yet. You can sign up for a free trial and test the service on it, and if it does not work submit a support ticket.

      Thanks.

      • sweet ok ill give it a go!

        • Great! :)

I have an Amazon Fire TV too and I had Netflix' US contents being streamed into it last night using the uflix geododging workaround. The only hiccup I had was that today, I had to add the two static routes they listed on their https://uflix.com.au/troubleshooting/ page into my router.

But all good now. They've got very good support as well. I got a response within 30 minutes of posting my ticket.

    This works perfectly! Thanks.

    • You're welcome! :)

  • I've had a lot of trouble with this… region changing not working to start with, german region not working at all, hulu problems and now i've discovered that their AU Netflix region DOES get counted towards my quota even though i'm with Internode.

I've been using Getflix for 12 months and they have an option in their region picker to turn Netflix unblocking OFF - this makes it unmetered for me on Internode as far as i can tell.

Good luck guys, but i'm sticking with Getflix for the few extra $ per year… many more Netflix regions and has been stable and reliable for 12 months plus i can take advantage of my unmetered quota.

BTW, Getflix usually have promos around Christmas, Easter, etc… i was on a monthly subscription but they had 40% off around thanksgiving/black friday last year… maybe there will be one for easter next week??

Yep can't get Germany to work on PS3.

However, end of day Netflix US is the main one and really doubt many utilize all the other regions.

So far pretty happy, especially because of the price!

      • We are currently having issues with our German node. This will be fixed shortly.

        Thanks.

      • Germany is now fixed and working.

  • Does anyone know if MYLIST on netflix will still be there if i change regions…Like if I switch to Aus and come back to the USA will mylist of movies I plan on watching not be affected.
    Thanks

    • +1

      Yes.

The only thing is that the list won't display the stuff not available in either region.

      • Cool, thanks

  • Does Germany work for anyone? (edit: guess it's not just me!)
Set up the trial, and seems to work fine on PS3 and Apple TV for the other 3 available regions.

Would also second the request for a simple app to change region, and dynamic DNS for IP changes.
Nice work so far anyway, looks worth it for me to sign up.

    • I can only get it to work on PC, my PS3 doesn't work with Germany.

    • Hi Wimma,

We are experiencing issues with our German node, but it will be fixed shortly. We will also be adding more regions in the coming weeks.

      Thanks.

      • Great, thanks for the reply!

        • You're welcome. Sorry about the inconvenience, we are working as fast as we can to get the Germany node running again.

          Thanks.

  • I got it to work easy enough last night, but the streaming quality was terrible compared to not using uFlix. Is more capacity being added so this improves?

    • Hi Flyingmoo,

The streaming quality should not be affected by us at all since we do not proxy the stream. If you are accessing different regions, quality may drop, but that is due to the speed your internet connection can receive it at.

      Thanks.

I was able to watch 4K content smoothly in AU region. After adopt your DNS service, I can watch much more content, but only 480P signal

      • I am the same as Kawara888, using the AU netflix with uFlix disabled (ie using my Telco's DNS) i get the highest quality possible.
I change to uFlix for US netflix and it struggles to give 480p

        • +2

AU Netflix is getting served locally. USA Netflix is getting served from servers in the USA, and the connection will be slower (unfortunately). We do not intercept the stream data, so this is out of our control.

          Thanks.

  • Bit hit and miss for me in the last 24 hours tbh. But more hit.

Germany not working, but that's a minor thing for me, and is a know issue. I did get stuck on some countries and couldn't change (PS4 and WiiU) but support has been prompt in response and claim it's all fixed and so far so good this afternoon when switching.

Think I'm in but this is my first dance so have no comparison.

    • Hi Miso,

There was a torrent of users who joined up very quickly, and unfortunately, this caused some issues with the system. We are working as fast as we can (and setting up more nodes) to handle everything much faster. We have identified the problems and are doing our best to fix all known issues, as well as provide support for users.

      Thanks.

  • Hi, I signed up but where do I input the promo code?

    • Hi blacksiik,

In your control panel, please go to "Subscription". You will be able to input it in there.

      Thanks.

  • Thank you Rep,

    :)

    • You're welcome :)

  • How do I change regions? Help, please? On iPad. Updated primary and secondary DNS.

    • You do it in the uFlix webpage under settings.

      https://uflix.com.au/u/account/settings

      Dropdown to change region.

      //

      • I think I've done that. Is anyone able to tell me what shows are on the USA version that the Australian version doesn't have, so I know it's setup correctly? Thanks.

      • Do you have to restart AppleTV in order to get content from different region?

        • Hello,

Yes, you will need to reboot your Apple TV in order for the region switch to take effect.

          Thanks.

        • I'm going to say maybe not? I just quit out of netflix, changed region, then loaded again.
Seemed to show different content on new released … but I didn't check specific shows (guess I should)

  • Worked fine last night on my PS4 & TV but now seem to only be able to connect to local Netflix :(

    • Hi DarKBlooD,

Please submit a support ticket. We are looking into these issues and are working to resolve them.

      Thanks.

  • Working fine for me (NBN)

I used the promo code and it says I get 12 months + 2 months free access but my expiry date is March 25 2016?

    • +1

      Hi aurz,

The yearly subscription normally gives you 2 months free access ($2 x 12 = $24), but it is at $20 if paid yearly (2 months free). Using the coupon will not give you 14 months of access. It only applies to the $20 price.

Also, I am super jelly that you have NBN :p

      Thanks.

      • All good. Works great.

The region swapping via web interface is awesome

I had to restart my Apple TV before it worked (guessing needed to flush DNS cache) to pick up the new region but that's not your fault :)

Also I didn't see it mentioned in previous comments but you can use the same Netflix account across all stores which is convenient :)

  • Haven't signed up to the Netflix promo as yet, but op your service/deal sounds promising to miss out… so I signed up for the deal as I'm part of the FOMO group (fear of missing out!).
I'll get mine all set up in the coming month!
    Thanks for sharing!

  • Using it now, working fine!

Love the price, interface and fact it's Australian currency and DNS servers.

    You're going to be rich!

  • Thanks for the service..! work perfectly on my LG smart TV…!!

  • Rep, it would be more attractive if uflix could build an app, so we can change countries with a tap….

    • +4

It was planned for us to have an app,
So you could change your countries in a tap,
But you must understand we had limited funds,
This was a side project for some fun.

But now that all you guys have purchased accounts,
The money is coming in, in quite decent amounts,
We will speed up development for the app,
So you can change your country in a tap.

      • As well as adding a rhyming app. :)

How good are your sales? Can you trace it to ozbargain?

        • OzBargain provided a great deal of sales, yes.

  • [Edit: never mind, its reporting DNS is working now after a few minutes]

I've added the primary and secondary DNS that were on the Setup page, but the Settings page is still saying my DNS settings has failed:

IP Address: Your IP address 210.84.4.29 is authorised.
DNS Settings: FAILED: Click here to set up your DNS.

Any idea why? I'm on iinet.

    • Hi gambit_asdf,

Please submit a support ticket for help with your service.

      Thanks.

  • How do I know uFlix is working, and that I'm looking at the Netflix USA library?

My uFlix is currently set to USA, but I don't see any difference to what I saw when I was on Australia region.
Have also tried logging out of Netflix and still no difference.

I assume if uFlix is set to a non-Australia region, my Netflix shouldn't have the menu item of "Browse" -> "Australian Movies"?

    • Hi gambit_asdf,

Please submit a support ticket so we can troubleshoot the issues you are having.

      Thanks.

  • All signed up & set for 1 year ..all the best.

  • Not quite work for me.

  • Signed up for the trial today, easy setup, streaming Netflix from the US absolutely faultlessly. I think I'll be paying a full year in advance :)

  • How do i validate if i am getting the US netflix contents?

  • I bought this service on the 25th March, I have tried many times to try to get this to work. Sadly I have been unable to get this working after trying on 3 different device. My modem/router has been playing up ever since.

Now I just want my money back, ticket PWYSKAY8.

    Thanks
