    Welp…

I just lodged a dispute with my bank as well. Have to give documentation to CBA next week, and get a new card. It's a pain, but seems to be the only way to get my money back from this mob.

I would recommend everyone else to do this as well. It's great if you have written emails to show them btw, i neglected to do that unfortunately.

    • Have you received your refund yet?

      • Been really busy and haven't even given in my documentation yet. Ouch.

They did say it would take around 40 days though.

  • Lose 6 dollor for 2% visa fee
Only NAB get the most advantage from this dissapointing bargain

  • lodged a dispute as well…what a shame…as i needed a phone pretty urgently i sprang for a zenfone 2

they offered 2 options - a 'mistaken transfer' option which, if successful, would cost me $16 or a full claim, which would cost $25 and another $25 if successful ( something like that anyway )

doubt i'll get it back via either path…

    • Did you pay via bank transfer or something?
I paid via card with ANZ, a simple dispute claim resulted in no cost to me and the funds back into my account instantly.

      • yes stupidly paid via bank transfer - to save the surcharge ( in true ozb style! )

they called back and said i couldn't use the 'mistaken xfer' option and that it shouldn't have been offered to me… so they are chasing up with option 2 ($50) but have waived the fee at least

bought a zenfone 2 from ebay:qd_au which has already shipped!

        • I decided to go with an Xperia z2 still, cost me about $455 though. Had a few cases already ordered so thought I might as well stick with it.

Awesome of your bank to waive the fee for you, hope all goes well. Defiantly use credit card in future for dodgy providers like IT Estate!

It's not worth to wait. I asked refund last Friday and bought a LG G3 32G for $399 from DWI https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/196060.

Bought it on Friday morning from DWI and got my LG G3 this morning. Only took two days ship from Hong Kong to Brisbane, thumbs up for DWI.

  • Just rang them again and they said that the refund has been processed on their end, and will be back in my account today or tomorrow. They are sending me an email with the receipt details now.

I know that they've been jerking people around with the refunds saying the same thing, so if I don't see any funds by Thursday I'll file a dispute with the bank…

    • I call BS, waited 2 weeks for my refund. Filed bank dispute.
      Not good enough.

  • at least they answered the phone / email for you!

It was only on the 8th phone call they actually answered. They have never responded to any of my emails…no receipt yet, lol.

      • I can vouch for that experience. Pleasant

No contact from the store…no email with refund details…no money in my account.

I have just lodged my dispute with my bank.

    Disgraceful.

    ITEstate.
Ordering a product does not result in dispatch.
Paying for your order does not result in dispatch.
Canceling order does not initiate refund.. WTF!!
Emailing refund request results in nothing.
Calling and being told they will give you a refund does not result in refund ~ 2 weeks later!!
I assume the ITEstate owner is addicted to the horses or casino.

    It's been 8 weeks since I ordered
    It's been 4 weeks since I cancelled
    Still no refund.

I have cancelled my order and requested refund for a whole week and no response and no money back to my credit card. Lost my faith with them, just lodged a transaction dispute with my bank.

I'm very disappointed in IT ESTATE. If anyone still is waiting for the phone or refund from them, my suggest is – DON'T. Call you bank to lodge a transaction dispute before you lost the chance to get your hard-earned money back!

  • How are your refunds coming along guys?

    • Cancelled my order on 29th May, received my refund yesterday.

  • So after sending a stern email to IT Estate, a week later I get an email with text of a supposed refund to my credit card, complete with transaction ID number saying 'approved'. I check my credit card account online, and nothing has shown up, not even in pending transactions. Today's date is on the receipt.

I daresay IT Estate are with a different bank to me. Should I give it a few days, or are they sending out false receipts?

I don't suggest you take the risk to wait after so many lies from IT Estate. It would not take that long to get your refund from them if the refund is genuine. The longer you wait, the chance you lost your money could be higher.

The credit card has provided a way to against these dodged business from hurting us called transaction disputes. You can just call your bank and lodge a transaction dispute, you will get your money bank in a few days.

Let the bank to deal with these dishonest people, the bank is the one who is more professional and has more experience than us to deal with these matters.

Can you check the reference number on your email? See if it's the same as your order number. You can see your order number from your order history: http://itestate.com.au/pages/onlinesales/osl_order_history.f…

Reason I'm saying this is, they sent me an email 3 weeks ago with a supposed refund that never came. The reference number was different from my order number. Then this friday they sent another email with the same reference number as my order number. I think it's a legitimate refund this time, but I'm not sure.

I will still be lodging my documentation with CBA this Monday.

  • A month after cancelling, numerous phonecalls and emails, each promising it will be done ASAP, I finally have my refund.

  • Seems like it's all over.

Yesterday was the deadline they gave the supplier, and they haven't received any more phones, so they are (apparently proactively) cancelling all the orders.

Said I would be get a refund by the end of the week. Will give them the benefit of the doubt!

About to order one from Mobiciti.

    • Ordered from Mobiciti for $468.

My refund processed by IT Estate within 2 hours of cancelling. Seems like they have lifted their game.

  • I just received my refund today…

  • Refund received.

Finally I can wash my hands of this horrible store.

  • After two and a half weeks, I received my refund today.
