Amaysim used to have a $15 minimum for BPay payments. I doubt that will have changed, given costs. Maybe you will get lucky, given the 'giveaway' deal, but if there are any issues with the processing of your order, that will be the reason.
@SchnishSchnack: All good now. I didn't follow the 'purchase' steps in the first place & reacted to the normal price you see when you click on the deal link. Bought it for the $1 1st month & as luke73 described, I changed the payment method to Bpay after the purchase.

People who want to continue after first month on AYG rates and who wish to use BP instead linking CC (again) should keep in mind that the $15 minimum probably still applies.
From my dodgy-ish memory, it's a $5 minimum for CC.

Are you saying by the end of the 1st month they'll charge me extra $$ for the 1st month if I keep BP as my payment method, or you're talking about after the 1st month? It says the $1 is only for the first month; after that it's $44.90 or something anyway for the Unlimited 5G per month.
@AussieDaddy: No extra charges. Minimums mentioned just in the context of adding funds to account for ongoing use on AYG, after first month.
Of course, you need to add funds before the first month ends for other plans to kick-in, if that is what you choose.
It sounds like you're only in it for the month, so none of that matters.

It tracked you mean. Did you get paid though. meaning did it get approved. Usually you need to stay on the same plan for 90 days before amaysim approves the cashback and cashrewards then passes it on to you .

Nope. You have to add a new sim to your account, meaning you will have a new number attached to it

@chipmunkdude58: Pretty sure it can't be another amaysim number. You'll have to port it to another network and then back into amaysim.

You can also turn auto renewal off so it switches to payg once the cap finishes. Tip: check against data usage so when it approaches zero you should stop using to avoid paying for excess data.
Also, thanks for posting. We're currently switching ISPs so we're left for weeks without internet at home. This will be handy.
Yes, change "Payment Method" to Bpay as soon as your account is set up.
This removes your credit card details so they can't auto renew at the end of the 30 days.
Maybe they ought to think about offering a $2 for two months or $3 for three months instead of the monthly thing they keep offering (not that i mind….ahhah)
Do they activate the sim before posting it out? Cause I still have two months left on my current plan.
For the previous deal mine was activated already. I ordered on Friday, which meant that I have three days less as it arrived on Monday.

You can. At the enter your details page, you have the option to sign in and it automatically links that number to your existing account

If it activates before you receive the Sim in the mail. Call amaysim when you receive it and they will credit your account for the days you didn't use it. Only useful if you plan to renew though.
Not as good A this deal, but for $60 per month you can get 11GB of data and infinite calls & text within Australia & 300 mins international calls on Vodafone network on month to month deal at moment. Good if you chew through data like me.
