  • farrrr, $175 return to auckland, its a no brainer!

    • +67

You had me at "$175 Return", and lost me at "Auckland".

      • -1

How much to send a Kiwi home 'One-way'? hehe! Especially if they win the Rugby!!

  • +2

Ha! I can get from Brisbane to Bali this weekend for cheaper than Brisbane to Sydney for the NRL Grand Final.
Would it be worth finding a flight that transits through Sydney and bailing on the second leg? Any OzBargainers have experience?

  • +3

considering you can take off next month, $580 return to hk is not bad…

    • that's only from melb right? I want to fly maybe mid Dec and come back early jan, is there any cheap flights to HK? thanks mate :)

  • +4

The title is a bit misleading. These prices are for one-way fares and not 'return'.

    • same here! i thought it was the return price too

    • +4

Just checked to Auckland return and it comes out as the price mentioned. One way was about 108 and back was around 60 something so that price is correct

    • +14

The title is a bit misleading. These prices are for one-way fares and not 'return'.

@Maloo: I believe your comment is misleading, not the title. Fares quoted in title are exactly as listed. They are return fares starting from these prices. Take the time to quote some fares from various cities and you'll see I'm correct. Example Melb-Auck return.

      • Are there return flights from Bali for $169?

EDIT: I see its from Darwin only

        • +3

Yes. $169 $159 ex Darwin. And thanks for revoking your comment neg :)

  • Nice deal

  • Incredible deal.

  • Melbourne to Honolulu in late Feb 16 was $730 pp return with luggage/food.

Melboune to Ho Chi Minh in late Feb 16 was $760 pp return with luggage/food.

    Quite good.

    • 3 months ago jetstar had a bris honolulu return in feb for $430 pp return.

      • Yeah, good prices but they've been way lower.

My sister got return flights Melbourne to Honolulu in one of their sales last year for $540 pp. Crazy good! I was very jealous.

  • +2

Damn, only to Bali and Honolulu for us Brisbane people :(

    • +4

For Jestar flights, you might want to consider Gold Coast. It opens things up considerably.

      • Oh, thanks alot for the suggestion:)

    • +8

What's misleading about the title please? Would you prefer one-way from $89 etc?

      • -6

The Auckland is right, but what about Bali?

        • +4

They are all correct. They are 'from' prices, and obviously depend on departure city.

    • +3

lol, this guy… giving TA tips on posting??!! lmfao !

  • Jetstar

    Sydney to Auckland - $240 Return between October 2015 - 2nd December 2015.

  • +2

I think the confusion is the origin of the flight.

It varies a lot on where you are flying from. perth to Bali is $99, whereas, melbourne to bali is $179. These are one way.

    • This is also the most annoying thing about AirAsia, Scoot and Cebu Pacific promotions I get in my inbox. "Fly to Bangkok from $50!". A high quickly followed by a bigger low.

It's a shame all deals on all sites don't use geolocation-triggered title parsing.

  • +1

Dang no syd to kl… Gotta fly to melb first
Edit: also no meal or checked bag, have to pay extra for that

  • +3

Good deal. If you are looking for something a bit different to Auckland, Wellington is quite nice too and the fares are about the same! :)

    • +1

I much preferred Wellington to Auckland personally.

    • +1

100% agree. Do the craft beer tour/crawl, map with 18 stops is available from the Visitors Info Centre

    • +1

Wellington's a great city to visit - I'm heading there in December for a conference and can't wait!

    • I don't like Wellington at all… he is such a..
      oh whoops. Sorry.

    • +33

      I give up :(

      • +2

don't, we appreciate your work, hang in there

      • -1

        Thumbs up for TA.

  • Thanks OP, was waiting for another one of these sales to come up after I missed the last one

  • incredible deal

  • +1

Cheers TA, don't worry about all the people too lazy to do some simple price checking themselves

  • +4

    OP are these return prices?

    Only joking! Thank you!

  • If you happen to miss every other comment, but pass by mine then consider this a PSA:

No these are not one way only. These are indeed, return flights.

    • What are the one-way fares then ? Just joking don't be mad.

  • OP.. they seeem to be……… correct!

  • -1

I appreciate Tightarse's (that sounds wrong. but anyway..) work but I do have to say Jetstar are a joke of an airline. So many delayed flights lately, citing 'weather' as the reason but yet every other airline can fly the route no issues.

By those stats Jetstar has the 2nd worst cancellation rate (after QantasLink/QF), the worst departures on time, and equal third worst arrivals on time (and worst arrivals for a major urban airline).

So basically Qantas, Virgin and Tiger are better in all these facets, which leaves them dead last.

      • not counting little regional flights (which are not part of this deal) they are the worst.

Welcome to OzB with your first comment. I'd say most, if not all people on OzB are aware of Jetstar's inclusions/exclusions.

Just booked PER - SIN - PER for $209 (carry-on luggage)

Used QFF points to connect SIN - BKK - SIN for 19000 points + $64SGD.

Good value for Perth - Bangkok return.
