Great Find! Please add "Exclude SA/WA for $100 voucher

  • I have the 3 camera version of this that I paid double for not too long ago, and I love it! Keen to grab two more cameras but they retail for around $250 each, tempted to grab this just for the cameras alone!

    • i am guessing you are a fan. Was thinking to use one on the front door, but heard that there is a considerable delay between the alert and the notification on your smartphone. Have you had any issues? Is the cloud based drives ok? I believe they wont save to hard drive.

      • So far I've actually found it to be reasonable, a perfect example is that a train goes past my back yard every day at around 12 - I just got an alert on the mobile app a moment ago to say something had activated that camera, and checking the time difference the camera started recording at 12:12PM, and I got the alert at 12:13PM.

Email is a bit slower, generally taking 2-5 minutes but that might have more to do with my email sync schedule than anything else, I haven't bothered doing anything about it because it emails a snapshot of what caused it to go off, allowing me to take the appropriate action.

  • How long do the batteries normally last in the cameras? Looks like they are 4 AA's??

CR123 - 4 per camera. Says, will last 4-6 months.

  • can the base connect to a wirelessly to router or pocket wifi?

    • I don't think it can connect wirelessly - I have to have mine connected via a cable to the router.
