  Is getflix similar to netflix? i am interested in getting it .. but am not sure how it works? can u stream movies like that in netflix?

    It's a service that makes it look as though you're located elsewhere in the world essentially. You use it in conjunction with Netflix to mask your location so that Netflix will show you US, UK or other content libraries other than just the Australian content you'd normally get.

    Also works with a few other services.

    No. Getflix is a service that unlocks your Netflix subscription, so that you get access to Netflix catalogues from different countries around the world, hence significantly more content. It removes geo-blocking

    Whichever country you buy your Netflix in is only the country/currency you are billed in. If you use a service like Netflix you can then receive Netflix designed for a lot of other countries. So the trick is to sign up for Netflix in a cheap country (Columbia or Brazil last time I looked, though you are subject to currency fluctuations), then use Netflix from anywhere good using Getflix (or similar, like Uflix).
