yep. that's why this website is called ozbargain, pups.

      • Yep, thats the sarcastic gimli i know.

        • bloody legolas keeps negging me, with is sockpuppets.

  • Showing $7 for 4 in SA.

    • Thats why i included the receipt. Funnily enough the ticket price on the shelf was $7 too, when i scanned it was $6, even though i had the website as backup.

      • SA is usually more expensive for most drinks as we have the deposit scheme to encourage recycling. Was just putting it out there for others interested in SA.

  • Cheaper deals elsewhere? it's equiv of $9/6pack - that's awesome pricing!

    • I meant this not a +46 deal.
      Ive never tried oranjeboom either.

      • +1

well I wouldn't bother trying it, whilst you can get the +46 at this price. soooo much better.!

        • agreed.. the oranjeboom is ok after you finish one or two, but it's not great (ie: for a cheap buzz it's ok).

  • These are top ciders, I love both of them - thanks OP

  • My favourite, thanks!

  • I normally get the Aldi ciders at around the same price.
How are these compared to them?

    • -4

Aldi ones are better. These are pretty crap and only worth the $6 in the deal IMO

    • +3

Time for you to try some real cider :)

      • Good name for a cider drinker!

      • I have mate. I just don't rate the one in the deal. I said the Aldi ones are better in comparison to THIS deal..

  • +1

Thanks OP got a few packs for upcoming house warming parties.

    • +1

      no problemo.

  • they've been cheaper.

  • Dont forget the cashrewards 6.7% cash back http://www.cashrewards.com.au/dan-murphys

  • how does it compare to the Rekorderling dry cider which is $10 a six pack till the end of the month?

    I quite like the rekorderling…

  • Had anyone actually tried this cider? One word - Terrible!

    • +1

It's pretty good (especially for the price), I think it has an odd aftertaste. Especially if you drink a few. More so the pear?

I think this is a real cider btw, not crap made from concentrate and sugar and added flavours.

  • How long will this stay on special for.?

  • Thanks OP, will give the apple a go!

  • Thanks OP, will try the apple and the pear (same price).

  • tasty

  • The real deal is $30 a carton

    $1 a bottle.

    $30 for a case of 24 now.
There is only a case plus dregs available at each of the stores near me so no chance of buying 5 cartons.

    • I put in an order last night for 3 apple 2 pear and did what i said above. I was given a click and collect date earliest of 2nd Dec. However today i got the sms to say its ready to pick up… Not sure what happened there. I just went right now and put another 10 cartons 5 of each in my basket and no problems there, could buy them with again pick up on 2nd Dec… I'm in WA so perhaps WA still has stock but other states are all out? where are you guys located?

      • I had the same thing happen, was told 7 days online but got an sms an hour later saying my order was ready.
WA as well - though I only picked up 8 bottles (2 packs - 1 pear, 1 apple) as I wasn't sure if it'll be to my taste.
        I should order some more.
        :D

      • (VIC) Afterwards I did check on a case I had placed in the cart and there was a 7 day collection time (was 2hrs originally). I didnt go thru with that order but I guess they have them somewhere until maybe you eventually hit a point where they cant supply and they let you know in a few days.

As it was when I went into the store with a print out of the online price the guy who served me took a while to check the price and question it etc.

I'd not tried this cider before so I was hoping it was going to be ok and yeah its pretty good.

  • I can vouch for the quality of this cider. Sweet but not sickly sweet. Very good.

I have never tasted this stuff but thought based on other peoples comments it was worth the shot at 5 cartons at 24$ a carton. So good to hear more good things about it. I am looking forward to seeing what i got. However i'm on a self imposed 4 week hiatus from booze so will have to wait a bit longer.
