Any cheap robotic vacuum cleaner that anyone can recommend?

Something that isn't complete junk, even though I don't really believe these things are worthwhile which is why I don't want to buy top of range (wife wants one).

Edit: doesn't look like there's any cheap ones. They've got roomba and roboking, but that's about it. Probably too expensive for me.

  • No Sony phones in the store. Only a first gen tablet (up to 4th gen now). Did they take them down?

  • +9

worst Ozbargain deal ever! Blame who? The retailers. No wonder they keep closing down. We try to help but they mentioned out of stock when they actually do!! WTFcck. They should make use of this opportunity instead!! Hopeless retailers. Keep removing things I want to buy.

    • Sadly, the govt thinks the solution is to penalise the consumer + overseas retailers who are doing the right thing, by soon charging them GST. Even though the cost to enforce the tax will cost more than it raises. Which in turn rewards the garbage retailers, their high prices and their dodgy tactics.

  • "up to a maximum discount of $1000 per transaction." this is new it was 500 before!

    • Does it matter when there are not many things actually on sale?

  • Refurbuished Sony RX100 1st gen for ~$370 after 20%, cashrewards and TRS with 12 months warranty. Is that a good deal?

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SONY-DSCRX100-20-2-Mega-Pixel-R-S…

    • Pretty good price, but it's already up to 4th gen already, so I guess the question is do you want something that's already this much behind?
      Also refurbished.

      • +1

Do you want something that's already this much behind?

IQ will still be the same. Sensor tech hasnt changed drastically, they are all still 1“ sensors. Of course you get more features with the later versions, but the IV is also over a grand.

        • Thanks for your replies guys, and yes, from what I've read other than some bells & whistles here and there, the 1st gen is still a perfectly good camera for a hobbyist.

        • +2

          @aurotaro:

I have the 1st and 3rd gen. Both incredible cameras and there's no tangible difference in image quality especially when you consider the massive price difference. Grab the gen1 at that price for sure! Love them.

        • @xdirex:

          thanks mate!

        • @aurotaro:

I'll second xdirex comment. We've still got our MKI, it's still an incredible camera. The viewfinder and extra shooting speed of the newer cameras is nice (though you give up a tiny bit of zoom), but the $700 in your pocket you save grabbing the MKI is also nice!

    • can you claim TRS from ebay purchase? i know it's sony being the seller (not ebay) but would they provide an invoice with the ABN, GST etc.? just curious

    • the G7X for $488 after canon cashback is a better deal the the MK1 imo

  • lots of lego on target ebay store come 10:20 watch it all disappear if includes toys

    • Target was really good last time. Continuously refilled popular stock like Xbox etc. Target is the last reseller I would worry about from that list.

      • nah they were good with xbox
with lego it all disappeared both sales last time

        • I bought one before they removed from the sale. 2 weeks later I have to open a paypal dispute, they never send it.

        • Oh, I must have missed that… Never mind then :)

  • +2

Can someone please tell me again or make a link to how do we make an ebay search for all of these stores?

    • Click the link above to Go To Deal, then scroll down and you'll see a search box that will allow you to search all the stores participating in the sale.

Just wish there was an ALL CATEGORIES search option.

    • Someone already did. Read the comments in the second page.

    No iPhones, pity.

    • +3

Wishful thinking, there never was any iPhone deal anyway.

  • +2

Where are the deals ? Lol I can't find anything worth it.

  • Any worthwhile tablets for under $300? Reviews put me off the Galaxy Tab A, not sure about anything else..

  • Nutri Ninja BL480NZ @ Good Guys

    After cashrewards cashback $138

Mwave you scammers.. i want a synology disk station but its cheaper at pccg and they have no sale.

    • I just picked up a DS2415 for $1620 delivered from mwave. PCCG is $1699 + delivery.

      • There is no 12 bay listed on their ebay site.

The 5 bay one on pccg is 949 yet 1100 on the mwave ebay store. There is no 20 cent off. The 20 percent should be off a price close to the 949 not jack up the price theb apply the discount.

        • It was on the mwave ebay at the start of this sale. I believe there was only one as it said last one in stock. I ordered right on the 10AM mark :)

How predictable, a few minutes ago Dell increased the price on the XPS 13 (6th Gen) i5-6200U 256GB 8GB from $1899 to $1999…

  • Darn, just bought something at target yesterday
Could I buy the same item with this discount and return the normal price one?

    • I guess you can.

  • Thanks cant wait!

  • +2

Help tell me anything to buy…I couldnt live with myself knowing that I paid more for an item I might in future decide to buy!

    • You're Shopalcolic, there is program to help you and I :)

  • Bush Aurora DAB+ radio $159.20 down form $199.
RRP $229 at other stores like JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman & Domayne.
    Product web site

    • I don't get the high cost of DAB+ radio, much cheaper setups if you have home Wi-Fi and they usually have crappy speakers too.

    • Expire. Item removed from there eBay store. Got a reply from Bing Lee "Unfortunately due to stock issue, this model is currently disabled via our eBay channel"

Although still seems to be listed on eBay & available for postage outside there ebay store.

  • What do you guys Reckon about getting a washing machine from the good guys? They've got some sweet catalogue deals and 20% just makes it better!

  • Can we combine this with the $100 voucher handed out a few weeks ago from the Click and Collect deal?

Seems like they are both discount codes so does that mean you can't apply both to stack the discount?

    • Can't stack them

  • Fujifilm XF23mm @ Teds camera. 1 left. $688 after discount and Fuji cashback.

    • Does Fuji cashback work with eBay ?

      • Yup, its the same as buying from Teds
        Just checked, out of stock

        • Thanks.

They had 2 before 10am… both gone by 10.10am…

        • @nekov: Bah, I wanted this. And I'm days late! Grr Arrghh.

  • +1

Thanks for posting this, I've been waiting for 3 and a half hours, but I got Fallout 4 for $51.20

  • Just bought a Samsung - - Galaxy S6 Edge+ 64GB from Binglee.

    • how much?

  • This Kindle Touch 6 inch wifi 4GB seems like an OK deal? $85.60 after coupon.

  • Awesome, got the Fitbit Charge HR for $116 pick-up! From DSE.

    • I couldn't find a Click and Collect for the Fitbit Charge HR Black Large.

      Did you choose another colour/size?

      • I picked the Plum colour in large.

        • yeah the plum was super cheap.
I was after the black so it ended up a bit more but still OK

  • Cheers, managed to get a Fitbit charge HR for $116 click and collect at Dick.

    • I was looking at fitbits too, bit of a rip.

The flex is cheaper at Jb Hifi ($89)

Where as DSE with cashrewards is $96

      • oh but charge HR. Not bad!

        • Shame I just got called and had to cancel my order, the local Dick Smith that I chose for click and collect apparently is out of stock and the next closest I can collect at are not worth traveling too.

    • What color did you manage to get can only see Plum or Slate all small sizes too by looks of it :'(
Might end up with just the regular Fitbit Charge for $99.20 instead from TGG ….

      • +1

I went for a black HR small, however it was out of stock at my local Dick, got called a couple minutes after and was told that they cant issue my refund and I needed to go instore to get it. Went to local and the clerk was happy I actually went and she ended up changing my order from the small to the large HR without me needing to pay the gap.

  • The synology I was looking at is $200 more expensive than their own store. Why do they even bother? when after the savings, it's the same price as other retailers.

  • Dick Smith 41.5" UHD TV @ $429.20 - less with cash rewards. Bargain!
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dick-Smith-41-5-UHD-DLED-LCD-TV-/…

  • Any good deals on a low-end laptop???

  • +1

Here's a little analysis for the ones who can't make up there mind. I bet (perhaps just a dollar) they'll have the ebay voucher deal in the first or second week of december again. if you have a 200$ item you are looking for (and a subsequent 100$ item you have your eyes on), then it makes sense to wait for that as you'll get an effective 33.3% discount, whereas if you are looking for something like v6 only at the current price of 398 at TGG, then this one is better as even with the voucher, you'll get a net 20% discount but you'll need to buy another 100$ item (later) which you may or may not need. of course, whether or not they'll have the voucher promotion again is a risk (IMO they'll have it but you never know). So I'd rather make use of this deal if there is something you definitely need to get. (dyson v6 in my case)

  • Noticed that Free Standard Delivery on an XBone controller is listed as 11-16 Business days from Big W. Is this usual?

  • +42
    • +1

That's like 19% more..So saving of 1% if you applied 20% off ebay.

      • +13

Yeah one retailer I won't be giving my money to.

        • +3

          Heh. They pulled it.

    • +11

Wow, so greedy. What a load of twots!
Mwave, this has done damage to you, greedy, greedy, greedy.

      • Has it? it's buried in page 4 of the comments of what is going to end up being a very long deal post…

        • 51+'s and how many views?

    • Plus $12 shipping!? You could send that thing in a 70 cent envelope.

  • +2

    Any cheap eneloops?

  • +3

I feel like I should be excited by this deal but I can find absolutely nothing to buy… or more to the point, anything I want to buy that I knock 20% off the inflated price of, I can still find cheaper elsewhere as a regular deal.

  • I bought this
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111530897246
    and
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141486638440

    All up $111.16 before cashback

    Not too shabby

    • Got this from JB a few months ago for $110?

  • About to hit the buy button for 2 Moto G 3rd gens. Are these adequate for someone coming from iphone 4s and S5?

    • just bought one for my wife, she has 4s. Didn't want to shell out big bucks for another $iphone$. I am using the Moto G 1st gen and it's still ok for me. Is it adequate, I think so, but depends if my wife likes Android over iOS. If she doesn't, then I get the phone. If she likes it, then I just upgrade later.

  • Looking for a decent colour laser printer. I found Brother MFC-9330CDW $308 after code applied but it is multifunction.
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Brother-MFC-9330CDW-Colour-Wi…

Want to buy print only. Please recommend.

  • Any tv under 200?

    • No. Anything you get under $200 is gonna be crap quality.

      • +5

You're right, just about everything on tv these days is crap :)

      • Actually for that price you can get something decent in terms of picture quality that won't die in the first year or two.

The crappy 24" soniqs and stuff are not bad for the playroom or whatever.

  • I just want that deal for the Galaxy Note 5 Duos to come back T_T
