Guys seriously, just positive vote it WHEN YOU BOUGHT SOMETHING. Not just simply vote without buying. I won't buy, but won't neg.

    • +11

I think you have a point. So many upvotes for so few little bargains (as yet)

    • +6

I also agree. So many up votes yet people are only complaining about price hikes and stock removals. I will only give my vote when I find a deal worthy of it. So far I have searched for at least 5 items I needed with no luck.

  • +6

The Nutri ninja Auto IQ is still $188 at the good guys, couple that with the potential 20% off and you get a solid bargain. I bought mine from the Harvey Norman deal the other day, good luck everyone.

  • Newb here, how do you buy something and get the Cashrewards discount ? I have just signed up for Cashrewards..

    • Go on cash rewards website and click the ebay link there. Then wait a couple of weeks for your refund to appear on cash rewards

    • +1

And pray alot, because sometimes it goes through and sometimes it doesn't… As they don't have click logging like some others (e.g. shopandmint.com). However, they pay out fast. I bought stuff 2 months ago through shopandmint.com and they all still show pending.

  • +1

Any deals on internal HDD, need one for security monitoring

    • +1

I'd be interested as well, even if it means buying an external I can crack open. Looking at 4TB or more.

  • Any thoughts / bargains to be had on a Nespresso coffee machine?

  • I'm after a 1440p screen (27 inch +), I can't seem to find any good deals from any of the places listed. Anyone know where to get a cheap 1440p monitor elsewhere? Maybe I missed a bargain as part of this sale?

    Cheers!

    • +1

you could try getting a korean one from ebay… QHD 1440p monitor my friend did and its just as nice as my dell u2713hm 1440p monitor.

Theyre around $370 including shipping, pixel perfect. If you do, go with greensums or bigclothcraft - those sellers seem to have the best rep according to the whirlpool forums.

      • Yeah I currently have a QNIX 1440p monitor I bought from BCC. Absolutely love it but was looking for a local option for warranty etc (business purchase). I'll just keep an eye out for the next few days and maybe these vendors will lower their prices so we can actually get a bargain :P

      Reading is hard

      • +3

I know, right I avoid it at all costs. but when I do read it Causes headaches and wallet shrinkage

        • -1

          Causes stupid comments too ;)

        • @2pro4sho:

          Well, yeah sometimes.

But realistically I'm just sitting here in my undies drinking my coffee and watching the sales go by, ahh the wonderful sales.

        • @irev1:
Makes me anxious. Too many sales must.. catch them all

  • Sigh.

Just bought a used Canon 550d. Now wonder if I should have held out, might have picked up a newer model or Nikon for not much more.

    Any good lenses on sale?

    • Ted’s is super overpriced anyway, no camera and lenses are really on sale here.

      • The new Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6 is on sale at the moment and it looks pretty good. Retails for about $2k anyway and with discount it's down to $1.6k.

        Awfully tempting.

  • +2

I'm after a mobile phone but even 20% off AU stores it is still more expensive then grey import… cant win, right?

    • Try Microsoft store 640XL $299 inc. delivery.

  • Interesetd in getting the 70-200mm from TGG that quickly ran out of stock during the last sale. Pity no 4% cashback this time though.

    • Are you looking at TGG and Ted's for camera gear then?

  • I wonder if tightarse can organise a deal with cashrewards again for this sale :)

  • I need a laptop before next Saturday or I am in big trouble. Looking to spend around $1000 (including discounts) and I can get the GST Back from the TRS desk when I go overseas.

  • Any good potential cameras are like hidden for good guys and bing lee stores. Ted obviously shows it but at their crappy prices.

  • All iPads have been removed?

  • +6

MWave ebay Store, jack up their price by 20%..

  • Oh noes. Who needs casino's and pokies when you got eBay to empty your wallets… on a regular basis. Damnit, we've become addicts now.

  • Is this deal going to be the best option if I wanted to buy say, a refrigerator and microwave or could there be better ones during Christmas, Boxing day etc?

  • Sad! Dell U3415 is sold out on dell store :(

  • I'm after a laptop for my son. Doesn't need to be anything to flashy. Should I go refurb or buy new ?

Looking to spend under $500. And wouldn't mind a decent battery on it, as he will probably wanna take it in the car when we go out

      • I see that, but doesn't really answer my question about new / refurb laptops

        • +1

          Just get one of those.
Why get a refurbished one if it doesn't have to be flashy. I assume your kid will be browsing the internet and playing flash games.
When I was a kid, I always preferred new things over used technology, so go for New.

        • @tendollar:

Thank you, now to find a good cheap deal :D

        • +1

@Danstar: refurbished is not bad granted it has warranty to back it up. Have weigh in the savings vs potential scratches on the unit

  • Can anyone please suggest a good laptop bargain, i5 with 8gb atleast

  • +12

    Lets boycott MWAVE.

    • +1

Agree, from now on whenever there's an mwave deal, we'll remind everyone mwave jacking up price on ebay specials.

  • Canon g9x nowhere to be seen.

  • +1

Does anyone know what the cashback is on the D3300?

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Nikon-VBK390XA-D3300-18-55mm-…

    $550 for the D3300 with 18-55 kit lens + $5 postage
    - 20% = $443
    - cashback ?$100 = $343? Or is it $50?

  • Bing Lee the only place wth any sorts of tablets? Kicking around the idea of grabbing either Mini 4 or a Tab S2, Bingers have the s2 for $460 before discounts. Kind of tempting, but I'm not aching for a new tab so no rush, either.

    • +1

Good guys have it for $447 :)

      • Yeah just saw that - thanks! Which is a bonus as I'd prefer to buy from TGG. $367 delivered, seems rad, makes it the same price as the iPad Mini 2. I'm currently still sporting the iPad 3 (the first retina one) and thinking of an upgrade to either of the Mini's or the S2.

Anyone wish to provide input? I use these tablets purely for content consumption: browsing websites, watching Netflix/Hulu/Giantbomb/Cricket, forum posting. Rarely ever play games or other things. Our home AV is all Apple-TV, but we're hardly invested or wedded to the ecosystem, in case that changes anyone's advice.

        • Minus delivery fee for pick up too. I'm going overseas in a few weeks so I will also get 10% for TRS and also cash rewards has increased t 3% so the stars have aligned lol

The android tablets do everything the apple products do. Putting movies onto the tablet will not require you to convert them and you can put a 128gb micro sd card in for cheap (relative to apple).

However, you are invested into the apple ecosystem so that may make it harder to leave.

        • +1

@Circly: Nah, not invested at all.

It seems for $360 and change, this is the pick of the bunch. Bugger it, gonna grab one. Cheers.

Added all shops in the search function in this heading:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_nkw=&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sa…

  • Can you buy now and pay after the sale starts?

    • I wish to know this too.

  • Is there a Note 5 that can be discounted by 20%? I really need to buy one!

  • +1

This happens so frequently now it's hard to keep money in the pocket :'D

  • +2

Was looking for a graphics card but all the prices seem crazy high >_<

    • +2

All the PC components I looked at on MWave have been goneup :/

      • +1

Yeah the GTX 970 from mwave is $565pp (before discount). You can get it from stores for $479, including MWave.
What a rip. I don't get why eBay allows this.

        • Even after 20% off, many things are still cheaper elsewhere (especially after you factor in postage). With Cashrewards you may say a dollar or two.

          For instance i5 6600k $438 ($362.40 after 20% and postage) and it's $355 at MSY.
I don't even think I'll bother to click on these eBay x% off sales anymore…

    • +1

There's a few good deals for Aussies on Newegg and Amazon, if you don't mind the buying overseas experience. Certainly worth having a dig around.

      • Can you give us some recommendation on both of them?

        • Just went to edit that post, lol, couldn't as you posted :P

I was going to say that the prices aren't earth shattering, depending on how much you value a ~10% saving, which is only $20-$40 bucks over local prices, based on the couple 4gb R9 380s and GTX970s I looked at. It's always shipping that torpedoes the deal.

But given Black Friday sales are always in motion, or so it seems, I'll keep looking over this weekend, just in case.

        • @LaTerrible:
Yeah I'm just looking at 2GB R9 380 atm. Newegg has them for $236 AUD but then they want a hefty $45 AUD for shipping which brings it up to $281 which is about the local price from umart. Amazons shipping is a little cheaper but the cards themselves are not as cheap, ends up being a ~$20 saving.

        • @megaphat:

Yep, that sounds about right! It's infuriating.

      • Sure is. Managed to save over ~$120 buying from NewEgg over AU stockists (including shipping). Worth the risk if anything is faulty.

  • Dyson V6 is $308.45 with Cashrewards…

Wondering if I should pull the trigger or wait for the Absolute.

    • get two for the price of an absolute!
(i'm waiting for the sub $600 absolutes again)

      • I've decided on the fluffy. Don't need the Carpet head.

  • Looking for a new TV

    Which is better
    SONY - KD65X8500CC or
    LG 65UF850TT?

    • No love for oled? Though there isn't much of a range to choose from at the moment.

      • Was hoping to keep it under $3k :)
If I could afford it I would!

    • +2

This one is way better : SONY - KD65X8500CC
Support for HDR and its Android TV of course. But its not on ebay right, cheaper to get from Binglee for 2249 + Delivery

      • damn it was on ebay earlier, but looks like it's disappeared now

  • How come none of these retailers seem to sell any Apple products on their eBay stores? Is it Apple enforcing some weird conditions or are the profit margins too small to handle additional eBay fees (I have no idea what fee structure eBay stores use)?

    • +4

Because they know people are stupid enough to fork out extra for a brand that offers no real performance increase. Their profit margins are the largest in the world.

      • I meant profit margins for retailer. And from retailer perspective, they make as much money from selling through eBay (assuming eBay pays for this promo in full and minus any potential eBay fees).

Maybe Apple doesn't allow it like other poster said. Only reason I can think of.

        • The profit margins can be very small. Even with a lot of buying power.

    • +1

      Apple forbid it.

  • Hoping to see the Microsoft Surface Book in one of these retailers?

    Anytips?

    • +1

      NOt a chance. lol

  • Anyone found the LG CordZero? Can't seem to find it. Was hoping TGG had them

  • +1

XPS 15 (9550) for $1680. If it wasnt for the bad reports on battery life, I'd be buying

  • Can somebody make a mega-search which searches all of them? That was handy for other eBay deals!

    • Already done, see earlier post by PM88

      • Cheers- good stuff. Shame no high-capacity (128GB+) MicroSD's around
