  • Any wanna make a list of the "crazy" deals. Boxing day a couple of years ago there was an xbox 360 and games for $69 which was pretty good. I guess it depends on your interests/needs but anything of a similar caliber this time around?

anyone had a Chiropedic BLACK LABEL mattress? (from ZZZ)

I really need a mattress and $500+ off a king sized bed is too good to be true!

    • +1

Would also like to know about the quality of their mattresses, 55% off pretty much all their mattresses seems too good to be true (unless there's something wrong with them)

      • their a new company that doesn't have a physical showroom…really hard to trust it just because of the price point

no reviews on their beds online …bloody hard to take such a plunge

The Australian Fleet Sales "20% off sale" is false and misleading. The prices of the cars are almost at retail despite being used.
    Password is "searching1"

    • Example:
Brand new Aurion AT-X from Toyota: $29,990 drive away.
      http://imgur.com/A7UB5Gz

Used Aurion AT-X from Australian Fleet Sales: $29,990.
      Has done 64,000kms too.
      http://imgur.com/nCNsCCM

Even after the "20% discount" which brings it to just under $24,000, similar cars can be found for sub-$20k to low $20k

I texted my car details to them once, and they asked me to visit one of their dealerships, when I got there, there was nothing in my price range, so I wanted to leave, then one of the guys showed me a 2008 civic just brought in (this was back in 2011), he insisted on a test drive even though I told him I couldn't afford it. Came back to the office and he asked what my budget was and whether I was willing to do finance, I said nah, he insisted the price was LOW and did the whole Bing Lee thing, you know, turning the screen around and showing me the wholesale price, and that he wasn't making much money. I knew how much the market value was, and it wasn't even close, and it had 180,000 Ks on it, I asked him how a car could do that many ks in such a short time, he said he didn't know the history behind it. The sales people say the same thing, "you know how big we are?", "we turn over $800M worth of vehicles each year", really…

      • +1

Yeah they have their own economy in that place and it's nothing like the real world outside their gates. I've been in there with a mate twice, I don't like car yards at the best of times but that place is the worst of the worst. The people who work there are scum, just want to finance you up to the hilt on a car that's twice its real value - usually with very high mileage reaching (or overdue for) a major ($$$) service.

Looking for Bose QC25. Anyone seen these on sale apart from the Bose website?

  • Also to add to my other comment.. looking for a good deal on a laptop, currently have an acer aspire 5750 15.6" and I have had so many problems with Acer, they broke part of the casing and there's bits rattling around in it, network connection keeps on dropping out on it (the WiFi adapter is on the blink it seems), turns it self off if the charger is connected and bumped a little

So am definitely in the market for something to replace it same sort of size but better specs obviously
