  • I'm already broke as It is, but It wouldn't hurt being more broke if this deal goes through.

    • yep, thats what the Mods say.

    • i dont understand why valid comments like yours get negged.

        Cause haters gotta hate

Just shows how immature some people are . They hide behind their negative votes and are cowards that they don't admit who they are

        • I want to admit…

That's it not me. I mostly forget to vote on anything, and thinking about it, clicking unnecessarily means expending 0.0021% of a calorie - and it all must add up over time. Which I'd then have to eat something to replace the energy lost. Better to save a $1 than make one, right?

Target ebay has a new PS4 bundle for $389 now(PS4 black/white 500GB + Tearaway Unfolded + Stan), after 15% it comes down to $330.65, not too bad, have no idea about the game though.

    black: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-PlayStation-4-Tearaway-Unfold…
    white: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-PlayStation-4-Tearaway-Unfold…

    • WOAH! Thank you so much for posting this!! I thought they just took down the other one the 368 one!

    • wait and see if the price doesnt increase like others say happens, before you figure the 15%.

500gb are around the $360 to start with (bought one at bigw) so $30 odd for a game in this pack.

    • any Xbox One deals? I couldn't find any :(

      • +1

Xbox one and PS4 are both $322 @ HN (thanks trent): https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/227063

        • that's a great price, unfortunately I don't have Amex :( and I tried signing up for the newsletter but still didn't get a $25 off voucher gah!

scratch that- I got the voucher code! :D

      • Target removed their Xbox one bundle early this morning

        • +1

yeah I was eyeing that as well and saw that, such a bummer x-(

  • +5

I have contacted TA as im hoping he can squeeze out a few percentage points from cashrewards.

    • It's recently been increased from 2.5% to 4% until the end of this week. Good luck raising it any more.

  • +1

An up vote just to keep the unconfirmed rumor alive :)

  • but…..what to buy?

  • In general it should be as the OP and others have said, that is to say that the deal is not announced too early so that sellers don't push prices up, but I have seen eBay make a lot of noise in advance about these 15% off deals, so… fingers crossed. I am home anyway today, so I will check every 30 minutes or so.

    • +4

Spot on. Ebay used to announce it 3 days early. Two things happen. Nobody will buy for 3 days. SOME sellers use that time to change prices or remove items. Short notice is much better.

  • It's after 10am and no sign of it which means it's NOT happening!

    • Nah I would wait until noon to say whether this is legit or not

      People haven't waken up yet

  • Come on ebay! Come to the party so I can finally get my synology nas!

  • gtg guys! good luck with what your are waiting for !

  • Seems too good to be true …

  • +4

worst case OP can change the post to 15% off Berri Hotel http://www.berrihotel.com.au/item/december-sale-15-off/

    • +2

Suddenly, every room is occupied by an OzBargainer, over the same weekend, resulting in endless fun and Hennesys.

  • +19

The OP has found many ebay deals before in the past EVEN before it has popped up on ebay's homepage, allowing many ozbargainers to be the first to buy limited quality items and saving us heaps. Even if this does not happen today , it shouldn't deter him from future posts.

It takes a while to research into what to buy/waste money on, so the earlier we receive possible deals, the better.

  • +1

maybe 10am real time, not this fancy day light savings. (918am here)

  • +1

To be confirmed: World peace will break out in 2016. Hunger will end. Slavery and racial hatred will end. People will exchange guns for flowers. Dogs and cats will live together in harmony and there will be no need to ever put one down again.

^^^ You can downvote into oblivion or you can take it as intended, in good humour. Up to you.

  • where is the deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • top tier kek this one

  • +9

474+ votes for a deal that doesn't exist? WTF? Is this reddit?

    • +2

If it was a a new user, we would not, but OP has done it in the past as well.

  • The crowd grows restless, like sharks circling in the water, eager for the taste of blood bargains.

    • there will be blood if theres no deal lol

  • +2

Is gold bars from Perth Mint covered again? This was a bloody bargain last time!

    • +1

Did you sell them for profit?

      • Nope, I'm stacking it for investment.

Planning to stack more. If you can't touch it, you don't own it they say.

On another note, could not find golds anymore from the same seller as last time. The other available domestic seller put a hefty mark up, compared to if you buy them directly online :(.

  • It is also possible that the rumours about the deal are right, but the date wrong, and that the deal will be in a couple of days.

    • Yeah usually stores withdraw stock a few days before a deal (presumably when they are first alerted to it), but right now it seems like they have just begun to withdraw, so…

  • +3

It's probably legit. Been monitoring on a car mat on Supercheapauto, they've just bumped it up to over 25%.

    • How much worse does that make it? $10 to $12.50? 😂

      • +3

        12.50 to 16.99.

  • +3

Well crap… I was planning on buying this TV http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121822235570?_trksid=p2055119.m14…

from the good guys… and now, miraculously, it's 'out of stock', despite having plenty of stock in all stores near me about an hour ago.

    sigh

    • +2

Really don't get why they do this. eBay is covering the discount, not them.

      • Maybe the TV is out of stock.

        • Yeah… actually, possibly is running out of stock, now only showing two stores, and both a fair way away from me.

So, they do have stock, but it is almost gone, so… fair enough I guess.

      • +2

Well I guess ebay vouchers have the potential to continually push prices down, which stores don't want.

Let's say an item is $100 - ebay voucher comes - everyone buys it for $80.
After voucher hits, suddenly no one is willing to buy the item at $100, so stores reduce it to $90 (even at $90 the demand is lower and less people want to buy it because it's been at $80 before).
Then BAM - another voucher hits, it's suddenly now at $72 - and so on - before the supplier can no longer profit from it.

        • +1

Or they could just leave it alone and sell a truckload of them in one go - for the same profit they would have got on it anyway. Then the people who don't watch prices who will still buy it no matter what its price, still will too.

If this isn't a deal we should see if we can record the highest amount of neg votes in a single 5 minute period ;-)

    • +2

Too bad you can't neg, only revoke as you've already pos.

    • Plus it's not like we can suddenly know if it's not legit (unless an ebay rep comes and confirms, in which this will be deleted/moved to forums), so it will only be a slow stream of negs as people slowly start to lose faith.

  • just my luck, i spent 1500 dollars yesterday buying a watch and some micrphone for my camera.

    • +5

Why does your camera need a watch? ;)

      • it needs to know how much to charge the future clients.

      • And only some microphone? I'd want a lot of microphone.

    • Because you didn't read my advicehere.

      • i got some pretty good deals in the last 15% off sale (i got a Canon 70D and a lens), which was only a few weeks ago. Now i will hold off large purchases until the next ebay 15% off.

  • post says please sit tight till midday.

A smart phone is a mobile phone that performs many of the functions of a computer, typically having a touchscreen interface, Internet access, and an operating system capable of running downloaded apps.

        • that mini screen at the top (like notification screen), I dont find it useful..

      • That's what I've got my eyes on.

        • Any priced well on eBay?

    • +1

G4 Fo Shizzle! Why? bigger screen QHD display 3 GB ram expandable memory android 6.0 sexy as a mofo and the list goes on…

    • Loving LOVING LOVING the camera on the G4.

Blew the exposure because I was in a rush and yet all the selfies here are from an LG G4 with some post.

(The shots without me in them are with a Nikon D7100, not the phone).

  • :(

  • OP will surely deliver.

  • -7

I got my 15% off, thanks OP

    • Not sure why you'r ebeing bombarded with downvotes, but here have a downvote.

  • Is Nutri Ninja with Auto-IQ BL480NZ for $152.15 after 15% discount worth it?

    • After sticking eyes on iOS devices with all the free deals you have posted, it surely worth it to get in super-food for the next round of free apps and games from you

      • +1

Well those free lot of apps is super food for me since I save $$ from paying for iTunes cards. I think I saved enough to buy this Nutri Ninja for free :D

  • +1

Slightly sad that I'd be missing the deal by few hours, curses to international flights.
Hope this is true, good luck with the bargains guys.

    • '"twitchy'"

      • LOL, yes I have two twitchy trigger fingers right now.

  • If this deal doesn't happen, R.I.P OP's downvote button.

  • Why down vote? The op has done so much work with the post and deal.
It's not like he intentionally made it up

    • How do you know?

      • telepathy

    • +7

You vote on the deal not the person.

    • +3

I agree. The OP has put their reputation on the line. What would everyone here had preferred… the OP to not say anything, for a few people here to buy something this morning only to see the deal come live 2 hours later? Even if it doesn't happen, not the end of the world. We come on OZB to get a head start on the public. That comes with risk of deals falling through. Thanks OP. +1 for you.

    • +1

I agree. Additionally the mod said the deal will be removed if not confirmed.

  • +2

Gee, it was easier to wait for the release of the Force Awakens than this deal.
