        Time value is subjective but I do feel like some take it too far and spend far too much time for very little gain.

    I was going to pull the trigger on this deal but there is no more stock of the Trend Micro in store, there is the option of paying an extra $5.95 for postage (the nerve!) but the delivery estimate is 5-14 working days for the Trend Micro, which means if they turn up after the cashback promotion you end up with $60 worth of stuff you didn't really need…

    too risky for me!

      It's 'purchase date' btw, so regardless of when it gets delivered/when you cashback it, it'll be fine.

    I'll up vote you for the effort and creativity, but I cannot be bothered with the hurdles.

    IF for whatever reason I don't get my cash back for the 3 x Trend Micro Security, then I'll be paying $168 for a 2TB drive.
    Besides, how long does it take for the cash back?

      It took me just over a week, but most people got theirs in a month.

      Also, if you don't get the cashback, you'll be paying $143 because the $25 voucher is applied at checkout.

      From T&Cs: 10. A maximum of three (3) claims can be made under a single Account ID

      Not sure what they mean by 'claim under single account id,' do they mean that I can only use a trend account for 3 packages? (i.e. I need to create two accounts) Or does it mean that it's only 3 packages per claim (and therefore per receipt?)

      Better to not risk it IMO

    So this probably wont work for Samsung S6 edge phone as there is no Micro SD card slot.Am I right or am I missing something?

      Unfortunately, it doesn't have one so if you need the space you'll need to spend more on internal memory.
      If you're after that edge type screen you could go for the original Note Edge or when BlackBerry releases their new android phone here in Australia.

      this MicroSD card is useless, probably Class4, only good for boost the value over $150 for the order to get $25 off. However, too many steps for this $25 discount. Signup for HN, and cashback from TM is risky if your order is delivery, prom is closed on 14-Jan-16.

      That really is a STUPID move. So many people carry smartphones now. They should be adding features, not removing them. Mine has 32GB internal and a 128GB external card - and a huge chunk of both is taken up by free apps. It has great sound, but I haven't even added music onto it yet, which I plan to. But Apple otoh are so thick (and Samsung are no better following their lead) by removing card slots. AND… I just read Apple's next phone won't even have a headphone jack. With all the people I see hypnotised by their phones on the train, and jogging, cycling, walking through the CBD, doing sets with their phone strapped to their arm and earphones in!? I bet the model again, gets rolled out real quick after sales drop by ~20% to any other phone with a headphone socket. Who wants to be charging bluetooth earphones every couple of hours!?

      You can click and collect. I did it for the sony actioncam last week. Took about an hour or two from buying online to being ready for pick up, was on a saturday aswell.

      depends on the item i think.

      for example i added the fuji xerox a4 paper for $4.99 which didn't increase the shipping. the 3x sandisk 8gb usb drives for $9, and $9 sandisk ultra 16gb sd and microsd cards also didn't.

      anything from the big buys section adds $10, not per item.

      games are $5.95 per item.

      i think the seagate ends tonight, so don't take too long ;)

        Frustrating, cause I didn't know what was happening at first, as on the item page it still is $20, and when I click on my cart from the drop down.

      I ordered the same and picked up the hdd and then via online chat I asked to cancel my Trend Micro since they were oos for past 6 days. The credit came in at 51.07 so I am paying $91.93 for the hdd

    i never requested a refund but i just got a credit from hn for $18.69, for the single trend micro thingy i bought… they took off a bit from the voucher and added a bit for shipping, very strange.

    not too sure how i feel about this, on one hand i don't have to bother with filling out the cash-back form etc, on the other i 'lost' a little cash and a 8gb sd card.

    I need 3x of these drives. I have 3 bank accounts, but all in the same name. Obviously I can sign up multiple HN accounts. But can I get 3 discounts by using the 3 bank accounts, even though they are the same name?

    What about picking up the 3 orders from the same store - is that a problem - will they pick up on it and cancel 2 of the discounts?
