      I know this but what do you do after the first month is over? Do you port out to another carrier then back to Telstra again?

        You just want the $30google play that comes with it.

        All additional usage is bonus on top of ur $ savings already.

        I think you are getting confused.

        You pay less.
        And get more.

        throw the sim away
        use it as a sim adapter
        frizbee
        new number for additional accounts
        use this number for free stuff online to prevent spam

        somehow you will get telstra wifi till mid 16

        (Mmmm… spam…)

          Ok, I see, you are not using it as your primary mobile number. I only have one smart device so that's why I was confused. Thanks for explaining.

          You do not need a 2nd device.
          Just pop the telstra sim into ur existing phone (once activated).
          Do a google play purchase… pay via testra.

          Once purchased… pop your original sim back in.

          Make sure you use the $30 within 30days though.

          …from memory it is not too difficult.
