Went to Broadway and found elder scrolls online for PS4 $15 and wow battle chest for $10 each
    Some other $20 titles
    Heaps of Amiibos
they're clearing stock and have more behind the counter.
Guys are extremely patient and great with service
There is a scanner right there that you can try and scan the price but some guy was scanning every single game box so I just stood there and watched him haha

    • WoW Battle chest has been digitally for $5 (normally around Christmas though).

  • +1

Got Farcry 4 PS4 for $20 at Rhodes.
    Hope it is worth it.

    • +1

      Fun game. Bargain at $20.

    • Awesome game, I got it at launch and don't regret it at all.

Could you comment on what else there was at Rhodes? Thanks!

      • Went there again on Wednesday Morning.

Below are all I can remember. There were more than this.

        ADVENTURE TIME PS4
        ALIEN ISOLATION PS3
        BATMAN ARKHAM KNIGHT PS4
        BATMAN ARKHAM KNIGHT XB1
        DISHONORED GOTY PS3
        MAD MAX PS4
PLANTS VS ZOMBIES GARDEN WARFARE PS3
        TEARAWAY UNFOLDED SPECIAL ED PS4
        THE CREW PS4
        THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE XBOXON
        THE LAST OF US PS3
        THE WOLF AMONG US PS3
WOLFENSTEIN THE OLD BLOOD PS4 R18+

Do not own a XB1 so didn't pay attention to what XB1 game were in stock. However there are definitely more XB1 game than PS4 game left.

        Good luck

        • Ahh sweet thanks alot buddy! You're too kind!

  • Anyone saw WoW game time + WoW expansion pack???

I went to Carlingford and couldn't get one.

    • I got the only 60 day gametime I saw at Eastgardens. Saw 2 Cataclysm and 2 Mist of Pandaria as well.

      • anything else of interest at eastgardens?

      • FYI Cata/MoP are worthless since they are free with a normal sub.

        • Really? If I have sub now then I don't have to purchase it any to play the latest WoW? I bought up to WOLK btw

        • @moonphase: Latest WoW expo is WoD. Instead of having to buy every expo individually, you now get everything prior to the latest included in your account. So if you buy a "battlechest" you have MoP included and can level to 90.

        • @coxymla: Sorry if this is making you annoying but I haven't play for while. So if I get WoD, I don't need to get any others or do I need to get "battle chest"? Does it cost more?

          EDIT: WoD not MoP…

        • @moonphase:
If you have an account and buy game time u will automatically play until level 90 as every expansion is included now (except WoD)

If you have never owned any wow expansions then buying the base pack will give u all expansions up until mop.

        • @jimbobaus: Damn…. I wanna get that game time cards but based on the price listed above, I would say it is already ozbargained or someone just stock it and resell on ebay / gumtree sigh….

  • Thanks OP. Picked up The Crew, Shovel Knight, Journey and Devil's Third from the Adelaide CBD store.

    • Any ps3 game there you think worth to get?. Cheers.

      • Sorry man, I didn't take too much notice of what was on offer, BUT there was definitely some PS3 games there. I have a feeling maybe COD Ghosts was there. Sorry mate, would love to have been able to help.

    • +5

Woah, don't get mad just because you're lazy dude.

      • +1

        Lol, did he actually neg?

        • Well, he said 'neg', that's pretty scary too, right?

  • Taigum had nothing

  • 2 Xbox One Assassins creed bundles left at Coffs harbour. I got one myself :)

  • Got the last Xbox One Assassins Creed bundle at the local, after using flybuys dollars, will only cost me $169. Score!

    • Epic! How do you use flybuys dollars in store? voucher?

      • +1

You tell them you want to split the payment between flybuys dollars and cash/card, and just swipe your flybuys card in the eftpos machine and enter your nominated pin code, same as you would a Eftpos or Credit card.

  • Went to Mawson Lakes and got Shovel Knight, Devil's Third and Fantasy Life for $70 Thanks OP

Noticed they had some Splatoon bundles when I was there but I didn't take notice of other consoles.

  • Somerville vic target had some bundles left, no real pc games.

  • -6

Jezz, you people sheep much ?

  • Target Perth CBD still has unity kinect xb1 available ( didnt ask how many was already halfway through my lunch break)

We had a pretty good experience at Tea tree plaza, as usual the staff there were pretty good.

They got slammed with re-sellers as soon as the store opened and the lovely girl there is getting to know them (as well as the buying syndicate).

Told them when they came in limited to one copy each and didnt pull anything from out the back or check unmarked stock which was awesome of them.

Went in at 12 with a mate and met up with some other of you guys and we all helped each other out, great to see some of the staff helping their local's out and providing some great service as well as the other ozbargainers being true gentlemen.

    • +2

Some good folks out there. My wife and kids were well looked after by a bargain hunter at Target Hornsby. He pointed out the sale items and was really helpful. Thanks (if you're reading)!

      • +3

it helps if you can get their names and make a post about it on the target fb page, if they've broken rules to help you tho dont mention that, but as someone who used to work for numerous divisions in coles, it can be the difference between them keeping their jobs, getting hours and sometimes even getting some appreciation from them.

The last clearance the girl helped us out beyond the call and blocked a reseller from buying EVERYTHING, made sure everyone got a fair go.

Mentioned it on the target FB and she got sent a box of chocolates and kept getting good shifts.

It's good karma and to good staff it keeps them in the good books….. unfortunately in retail all it takes is one dodgey staff member who will blame good ones and start drama, so any positive feedback you can leave for good staff can really make a difference :)

    • I walked into TTP around ~11am this morning and noticed a guy pushing a trolley full of XBOX 360's. There had to be at least 8 360's in his trolley. I didn't end up looking in Target at all today, but I'm wondering if this guy cleaned up Target, or got somewhere like EB Games to pricematch?

      • +2

I got no dramas with people grabbing an extra copy for a mate or one to make a few bucks on but when its a trolly full of consoles they can easily profit $100 or so each on thats just wrong…. what a dick, I hope they were able to stop him

        • I share your sentiments.

Unfortunately, I don't think they stopped him. He had walked out of the entrance, as I was entering TTP.

        • +1

@tryonthis: he wasnt an arrogant as hell younger guy or an asian appearance guy at all?

Issue you've got there is if it wasnt something behind the entertainment counter he could have just walked through the front registers.

I think i know who it is, he's a notorious local reseller.

  • Melbourne Bourke Street has numerous copies of Payday 2 (PS4) and Shovelknight (PS4). One copy of Journey collection (PS4) left. I didn't see much else.

Here's some photos of the stock at Target Mount Ommaney, QLD at around 3:30 PM

Just got the witcher hunt for 30 dollars! great game well worth it.

  • +2

Don't bother going Broadway NSW. Some Asian guy bought up all clearance stock, two trolley worth.

    • +3

      Typical

      • I saw that as well. Crazy.

    • +1

      Broden.

      • +5

i think its part of that national asian buying syndicate that has facebook groups.

It's bloody unfair, in northeastern to northern adelaide each clearance sale we've got about 10 of these guys who either are releated or know each other and they co-ordinate strikes, bigw has a clearance you see one at plaza, one hits golden grove, one his parabanks all at the same time, then you see them all buying up baby formula later.

You then see them posting the crap all of BSS groups with PRICE FIRM NO NEGOTIATION and idiots lining up to buy it, or worse you go to the markets and see a bundle of these games marked up overpriced there.

        No shame to these guys.

        • +10

Me,as an Asian, have never ever take advantage of these sale to make a profit and I am so embarrassed by these accusations and I genuinely cannot find any excuse to defend as the people that exploit these sale events 99.9% are Asian….

        • He was waiting for a friend as well.

        • I saw the same thing today, it didnt seem like they were looking for any particular game as much as anything on sale…. I wouldnt be surprised if they are apart of some kind of reselling ring, but isnt it just speculation? Is there proof that they are reselling games at RRP?

        • +2

At big w we limit baby formula to 2 per person/group whenever they're on sale for that reason.

        • +6

@Crazylok560: My family tell me back in the old days it use to be greek females for clothes and irish guys buying up discounted random items and flogging them at the pub.

I don't see race, but working in the current field im working in, just using the politically correct description, and with these we all know what's going on it.

Greed and dodgeyness only know one appearance and that is of a tool, and while it's not illegally it's wrong, and it shouldn't be accepted in any culture whether its a culture based on race or a even a modern emerging culture like gaming.

To add to that since 9am this morning i've seen a ton of ads from one of my favourite local resellers who spends all his time ripping of granny's of nintendo and sega gear for peanuts who I run into at gaming auctions expecting an 800% profit on every item they buy by lying about what it is an how he got it.

As a gamer and someone who gets by while being injured and continuing to game, by starting a trading page and doing a lot of trades and helping others find what they are after i'm embarrassed by these people.

As stated earlier, you go to a sale, it's fine if you grab an extra copy for a mate or to flog for a little extra, or go to auction buy a lot to get one or two games and sell of the rest at a reasonable price to pay for it.

But when you are filling a trolley full of consoles, working for a company and withholding discount stock to then flog online either lying or bragging about how you got it, or telling a grandma clearing out the kids old nintendo 64 collection thats only worth $20 that you then go onto sell for 40 a game, 100 for the console and 250 for conkers etc… your a tool.

When you push past all lined up people who are going through a shelf of discount gear in an orderly fashion or smash it down and scoop up all the gear then sit in front of a price scanner with a trolley full of gear tossing the non discounted items on the floor for the staff to clean up…. your a tool.

When you are conscripting your mates to go and raid every chemist and supermarket in the area for baby formula to get around the limit to sell them for 10x the price, your a not a tool, you are worse than that.

Having 2x mates I serve with atm who have just had babies….. it's one thing for these tools to screw everyone out of bargains, but it's another when they take greed to another level an use social media to market the less desirable brands of baby formula so they can then completely clean out the shelves everywhere.

Just to put things into perspective gamers, we can live with missing out on a game we want, we can suffer the inconvenience or waiting til it comes up again.

We've all been there, you want that game, it goes on special your calling all the shops, driving far out, no one wants to hold it for you, you drive all over just to get it.

Imagine having to do that for your child…… that happened a while back….. I get back in some countries this is normal over there due to the scare. But the guys participating in reselling or low priced items for a big big profit, they are tools.

The guys buying up the baby formula for big profit are worse than that. I don't even have a word for them.

So anyone on here, feel free to question these guys when you see them in shops (i'm not saying incite violence) and i'm not saying treat parents like criminals trying to get their formula, but it's pretty easy to tell the resellers especially when you've seen them buying up the $5 clearance games and $1 hdmi cables in bulk and hitting all the other shops in a brand new Toyota, feel free to question why they are buying up formula from 4 different shops, and feel free to make them feel uncomfortable about what they are doing.

I went in to pickup my headset I ordered as soon as the special went live that sold out quick from TTP tonight when it came in… and ran into two of them picking what was left of the shelves clean…… to then see them at coles and woolies buying up formula…. so yeah….. lovely people.

    Broden found last year

    (depicts asian?)

    • Formula, vitamins & powdered milk were quite the growing export business in the local Chinese community.

Thankfully, escalating shipping costs from their own unscrupulous courier agents & implementation of store limits has curbed the behaviour significantly of late.

Lots of games left at Target Dandenong Plaza. Picked up Xenoblade Chronicles X, Captain Toad & Uncharted Collection. Saw Bloodborne for $30 but I recently bought the online copy for $40.

    • Can confirm. Picked up a 3ds from this store.

  • Anyone go to Target burwood NSW? Could you mentioned on what's left. Really just want the Crew for Xbox One and Need for Speed Most Wanted for 360. Thanks!

  • +1

Not much at Southland, but they do have a bunch of Disney Infinity carry cases for $1 each - in a big DI basket on an end aisle near the Skylanders figures. I bought several - not to resell, but to store all the bloody figures that I've collected!

    • Is that the zip up bag one?

      • Yep, about 30cm wide - shaped like the DI logo with dividers inside. They come squashed flat - they're just in clear plastic bags in the DI bin thingy I mentioned.

  • Just went in, grabbed some bargain 3ds games. Thanks!

  • Happy to pay ($40, that includes postage) for a copy of Captain Toad if anyone finds a copy. PM me. Cheers.

Should add the 2 stores near me had zip and jb wouldn't price match.

    • Got a few target stores im heading to today, if I find it ill message. PM me first if you already get a copy so I don't double up!

      • Will do thanks.

        • +2

No good at eastland, greensborough, airport west or watergardens victoria. Sorry man

        • @umBERK: Thanks for looking much appreciated.

        • @HelpWanted: all good mate, ill keep an eye out if i pass anymore!

    • Saw a whole bunch of them in Target Cockburn (WA)

      • Thanks, I'll just jump on a plane :-)

Still hopeful someone might pick a copy up and pass it on.

  • In my country there is always a policy such as maximum two per customer, hence incident like this never happen.
Maybe retailers in Australia should start do the same.

    • The thing is there is with the amiibos (one type per customer) because of that sperg in America buying all the Rosalina ones, so amiibo stock isn't an issue over here like it is over there.

  • For real though this is the best deal:

    CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS 2 PC $ 5.00 $ 2.00

  • +1

Nothing left Broadway Sydney Wii u related except 3 mega yarn yoshis for $30.. And 1 chibi bundle All other clearance games emptied out.

    Trying parra tonight

After devil's third for $20 mainly

    Should I bother any1 been

    Thanks

    • Dang, I wanted a $30 mega yarn Yoshi. Apparently none left in VIC. :(

      • I spied one at Target (VIC) at closing today

        • Ooh, which Target store? I was told Dandenong was the last place to have them in VIC, and that they went today.

        • +1

I was at Northland and airport West, they had three, can't remember which one.

    • How long was this ago? I was there at around 4:00 and nothing was left. Some guy bought trolleys worth of clearance game product.

  • So I'm guessing that if I go to Queen Street Mall Target on Friday I'll be out of luck? My local Target's only got like 5 games (overall, and none from this list) and I can't get to another before then

    • More than likely. I regularly go in there and I can't remember them having a lot on that list. I'll be there in about 20 minutes and I'll let you know 🙂

      • +1

For PS4 there were a few copies of Journey, two copies of Shovel Knight, a copy of Ride, a tonne of copies of The Crew, some Rabbids game and a bunch of those controllers for 30 bucks.

For ONE there was a tonne of The Crew, Ryze, NBA 2k15, COD Ghosts, Rabbids nonsense, A copy of Ride or two, A copy of Mad Max, Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us. Pretty sure I saw some copies of Unity as well. Plenty of controllers there too.

For Wii U there were 2 copies of Devils Third, a tonne of Just Dance and Rabbids. There were a few copies of Shovel Knight as well. Saw nothing for 3DS of value apart from a bunch of garbage games.

  • Thanks op. Picked up alien isolation on xb1 and red dead. Happy man :)

  • Happy to pay for a copy of Far Cry 4 on XB1 if anyone has a spare/wants to off load.

    Cheers.

Went to 3 stores in SA a couple of hours ago.

Sefton Park had the best pick.
Fulham Gardens had a fair amount left.
    West Lakes had virtually nothing.

From those 3 stores, I picked up:
    Watch Dogs (XB1)
    State of Decay (XB1)
    Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (XB1)
    Dishonored (XB1)
    Battlefield Hardline (XB1)
    Alien Isolation (360)
    Assassin's Creed 3 (360)

Also got the Journey/Flower/Flow collection for $25 on PS4. It's not on the list, but it was marked down from $39.

  • For west melbournians - check out Caroline Springs they seem to have lots of old stock (eg: iPhone 3GS brand new still in window at sound&vision dept)

Got Blackops III on PC for $35
Plenty of Xbox one/PS4 Games there too.

    At Watergardens:

    Plenty $5 - $10 PS4/ XB1 games, Just Dance 2014 $5 , COD Ghosts $10, Assassins Creed $10 just to name a few.
    Nintendo 3DS Accessories kit $1 RRP $15

When the hell is MGSV for PS4 going to be $49!!!!!!!

    • was $30 in the target i went to, (castle plaza, SA)

  • All sold out tomorrow

not a mind reader, just know it.

(BTW any stock on Fifa 13 on Wii U?)

  • +1

Bought AC + kinect XBOXONE at Target Bullcreek this afternoon. None in the display cabinet so you need to ask. The helpful staff there told me they had a pile at the back at 12.30 pm when I got mine. I guess there should be some left if anyone is interested but better call first before rocking up there. Good luck.

  • Saw a bloke get all the copies of just dance on various platforms $5 each and just looked at the resale value on Ebay, Easily $20 each ez profit for these scalpers.

    • +1

I was going to do the same, I only resell retail items when these types of clearances are on and find something way below regular price.
But i thought of it this way, to buy the game Just Dance '14 for $5, sell on eBay for $20, then minus aprox 10% sale fee to eBay and 2.5% aprox to paypal fees.

$20 - 12.5% = $17.50 and then there's postage, you can't charge more than $5 postage because there's many copies of the same game on eBay AU for around $25 with free delivery. Then you need to buy a bag, drive to and line up at the post office, etc… You'll be lucky to clean up about $10 profit but probably not likely.

Not worth one's time unless you were going to list and post several each day IMO - Or sell the copies on Gumtree if you find a buyer

      • +2

and cop 10% ebay fee and whatever paypal charges on top.
        hardly worth the effort.
