      16.67% roughly

    • +20% bonus

  • +32

only for use online. i'll pass :)

    • How much do they usually charge for delivery? is there an amount over which Delivery is free?

      • +3

Click and collect is da bomb.

      • +1

Delivery costs are reduced the more items you buy. Once you get past $400, I believe it's free postage. My monthly delivery is usually around $250 - $300 and it costs $3 delivery. It's awesome for me because I just have saved lists and recipes I can keep re-ordering. I save time and money, don't know why people are reluctant to shop online.

        • Can I tell them what time to deliver?
Is this convenient for people with full time jobs and hobbies that are not at home all day?

        • +2

@MrTweek: Absolutely, that's the whole appeal for me. You do need to be home when delivery is made, and you can choose from a range of approx 2 hour windows all through the day (up to 8pm i think?).

        • I … don't know why people are reluctant to shop online.

Our household does not consume/spend as much as you. So it is difficult for us to achieve larger totals.
It is inconvenient to store bulk quantity and wasteful when they get infested or get forgotten about.

      • Over $300 OR delivery on Wednesdays are free. Sometimes there are promotions as well where over certain amounts ($100, $150) etc have free delivery.

Have to be used in single transaction, no deal.

      • +38

he bothered to read the fine print …

    • +3

      Single use. Agree, Deal breaker.

  • +29

hmm, online only, single transaction, short usage date

they must be trying to boost their revenue figures before the end of the financial year

  • +3

online only. I will pass too.

    • +1

      Exactly…

eVouchers cannot be used in-store at Woolworths

I'm thinking the savings alone from shopping the specials in-store would nullify any savings this voucher gives. In addition you need to deal with the headaches of mix ups, replaced items and old fruit and veg. No thanks.

  • +5

eVoucher may only be redeemed on woolworths.com.au using the same email address as the email address associated with eBay account used to purchase the eVoucher. I'll pass……

Got excited, thought it was a WISH card. Pretty restrictive T&Cs, but a nice discount if you can use the whole amount in one hit I suppose.

      • yeah I thought so too originally. Got caught up in the heat of the moment and didn't read the T&Cs. Will be good for some Christmas in July parties I guess haha

  • theres free delivery if you spend online over $150

  • +8

Its very difficult to purchase $180 online in one single transaction.
Woolworths often places limits on the max quantity of a product you can purchase in one cart.

    • I assume it works with woolies Liquor, so that will help.

      • Woolies liquor delivery isnt all areas yet, still waiting for them to get it in Henley Beach SA. I click and collect from a BWS down the road from me, but yeah no liquor in my online orders. It's really annoying, got used to woolies liquor deliveries at my old place. In Grange, less than 1km away….

    • +3

just received my order for 37 10packs of sorbent today

  • +4

Please remove the 'Better than the current 6% off groupon deal' as it is misleading.

    It's also a 16.7% saving on the $200 card btw (40/240=0.167)

  • +1

Can you use on Dan Murphys

    • it says woolworths.com.au only, so I assume not,

but Woolies do sell booze online (in Vic at least)
They're not cheap, but they quite a few 25% of 6+ bottles of wine/port.
so stacked that would come to ~40% off.

  • +1

For those of us that do the family's shopping at woolies anyway this is a great way to use up those groupon ebay vouchers.

    • Maybe the T&Cs of the groupon ebay voucher will disallow this use…."10. Gift cards/certificates/vouchers are excluded from the use of the voucher." http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/cgroupon

      • Yes I'm wondering if eBay will allow the use of the eBay Groupon voucher to purchase this Woolworths voucher.

      • Sorry. I could of been way more clear.

I used my ebay voucher to buy these.

  • +1

I had one of these vouchers before and some of the stuff I ordered was out of stock. They sent me another voucher for the value of the out of stock items.

So if you wanted to break it into two vouchers you could order something you need in a quantity they might not want to supply and you'll either get your items or the change in the form of another voucher.

This was a while ago so it might work differently now.

    • I got that recently due to out of stock items. They give you a voucher for anything they can't supply and the expiry date is 365 days from the date you ordered.

  • +2

OP, they are both 16.7% off

    1-(150/160)x100% = 16.7%
    1-(200/240)x100% = 16.7%

    • +1

Yep have updated the percentage values. I don't know why I put 20%, must have been the heat of the moment..

      • Take it easy.

The link for the $180 deal should be corrected as well.

    • Lol, I got a typo too

      1-(150/160)x100% = 16.7%

  • -1

I presume you could always over buy and their return half the stuff for a refund?

    • I don't think they will give you cash for that though

    • They will return store credit only

      • yep, credit is 365 days expiry usually.

  • Does anyone know if it is possible to use a coupon as well on woolworths such as Bounty

  • +2

eVoucher can only be used in a single transaction and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

LOL definitely a deal breaker !!

  • I spend this easy anytime doing online shopping i take if your over you can pay the extra and what about any discount codes or vouchers can they be used also?

    • Ok i see no other vouchers cant be used but you can pay the rest with card if over voucher value?
I take you can only use one at a time or buy one?
Or can you add two vouchers to one shop.

      • Can you use your staff discount card with it?

  • +2

Hurry, there are only 14972 left ;)

    • Now 14951 left. 20 gone in less than 11 mins time!

  • T & Cs (Short expiry, Single use, Online only) of this are a deal breaker. I'll pass. For someone who has a reason to spend so much at Woollies, this is the best deal around.

  • +1

Doesn't Groupon also currently have $100 Ebay vouchers for $85? Could potentially purchase an Ebay voucher to use on the WW's voucher to save another $15?
Apologies for not investigating properly and looking at the details yet but it may be worth considering.

    • +2

      http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/ebay-au

Only thing is will the Woolworths deal still be going by the time you receive the eBay voucher

      • it will it says 9 days left… and 141000 seems like alot of vouchers.

    • +2

I can confirm that the Ebay $85 for $100 voucher can be used - just ordered a $150 for $180 Woolworth's voucher.

The Ebay voucher did take a couple of days to come through (ordered Saturday 11/6/16 and received Tuesday 14/6/16).

      • Have you actually received the woolworths evoucher code?

        • No, not as yet. I have received an email confirming PayPal payment and an email from Ebay confirming the order.

The Ebay item description says "eVouchers are delivered to your eBay email address within 3 business days".

      • +1

        Thanks have updated deal :)

      • Was the Groupon voucher email or snail mail?

  • -6

Don't forget Woolworths online is significantly more expensive than their physical locations - may not be as much of a bargain as you think. If you think of the bargain as 12% (because you can purchase 5% off and use anywhere) are you going to save money after you add delivery + this premium?

    • Same price online as in store…. for where I am anyway…

"Did you know that when you shop online with Woolworths you get the same prices that you do in store… delivered right to your door? And that’s on everything!" Link

    • Woolworths Online is the same price online as in store, they changed that a long time ago.

You might be thinking of Coles as they are still more expensive online than in store (for regular priced items), specials and EDLP items are the same price however.

    • Ah regurgitating the old rumour mill I see

  • +3

I stacked this with the $85/$100 Groupon eBay voucher. +Cashrewards and only shopping the specials works out to be a tidy discount.

    • -1

      Buy it from ebay confused?

  • Can this be used on Opal top up?

    • +1

Online only. You can't topup opal online through woolworths.com.au

    • I would presume not, since an opal top up at woolies usually only works through the service desk, and this is for an online only deal.

    • +1

      Thanks guys!

  • Will the CR bonus "Rewards for New Woolworths Shoppers: $20.00" work using this voucher?

    • +1

so you will need to create a new ebay account to buy this deal then as you will need to you the same email address.

ALso the $20 cash rewards can not use voucher/gift card to paid.

  • Did anyone get some message about payment still pending and they'll let you know if there's a problem? I paid PayPal, what's up with that?

  • Stacks with 15% off coupon code Ebay sent via email, so $170 for $240 in groceries. Not sure why i got the 15% off code or if it's targeted.

    • +1

What's the 15% off coupon code?

  • Apparently you can use the coupon's discounted $100 voucher. Problem is that you would need to wait a few days to receive that voucher from groupon as someone already pointed out.

  • Got 3 vouchers. Save $120! Will pay for an outdoor infrared heater!

    • it is stack-able? and is woolworths sell outdoor infrared heater?

      • Not sure. I just know I will spend $720 on groceries in the next 6 weeks
The $120 saving goes towards buying an outdoor heater through eBay. And thanks to legham above I will also get $15 off with the Groupon eBay voucher!

  • Updated deal to add the groupon deal which can be used for an additional saving :)

  • -1

Single use, online only, Woolworths-only, short use-by.

Unless there's something specific you need then not such a great deal.

    • Cat food always cat food, worming tablets, flea powder, advantage and kitty litter floor cleaner for misses.Air Freshener. So easy to run up really $180 if and you buy Aspro ect to get rid of her from the meow complaints.

  • Cheers op, will stack with Groupon deal to get ~30% off some BWS booze

  • Ah but I'm still trying to eat through the $120 of food I bought in September when this deal last came up.

  • What will happen if I place $180 online order and Woolworths will fail to deliver either full order or part of it ?
I used Woolworths online couple before, first time they cancelled the order completely because of no stock, second time they did not deliver part of the order because of no stock.

    • +1

Store credit for Woolworths online, in the form of coupon code, will be refunded for the difference.
