wow. thats crazy cheap price! for both i7,
i think you pay more for CPU alone

    • they'd be great home servers IMO, both SFF and fast as all hell haha

    • +2

That's definitely cheaper than just a standalone i7 6700. I paid around the same price last month for an i5 6500.

  • +4

    Gone already :(

  • +2

yea. if only i needed one :(
    went in like 2 mins

  • +3

The 4790 Deal is actually better, 500gb ssd, 16gb of ram and an i7!

    • +2

      Gone now as well

      • +8

        Broden bought 3.

        • +1

          damn that broden

        • +1

          sorry guys couldn't help it.

        • +2

          @supatight: That's a paddlin'

        • @supatight:

          Sharing is Caring.

Damn, I actually need a decent desktop too and I've been looking past week but nothing good.
Then bam, its all gone before I could log on.

  • Hmm. Strange. I was going through their eBay store because I was going to buy a Thinkpad 13, but all the Lenovo stuff has suddenly disappeared. Hmm..

    • +1

Just wait for it to be reposted an hour later at a higher price
      Common eBay 20% off tactic

  • +2

Saw the post at 4 minutes old and still missed it..

  • Man would have been ideal for work.

  • +7

Hmm! Something doesn't add up. When you click on the deal it's only a few people viewed it in the last hour, so how was it sold out since it has been posted just 15 minutes ago? Or was it just one machine?

    • +1

      Also says postage ask seller.

      • They pulled it.

        • Don't think they did, when I got mine it said Last One!

  • +5

Everything is just going out of stock. They must be pulling them.

    • yep.

  • omg…

  • Damn! Just missed it!!

  • Lol I have those at my school

  • damn, that was a good price.

  • +1

    seems like price error

    we will be screwed shortly

  • Oh well. Can't add a high end graphics card unless they have LF version

    • +2

Talks of a GTX1050 today with 75W TDP, could be good!

    • +2

Unless you could pull everything out and toss it in a cheap ATX case
Which is the better idea imo

      • +3

Problem is that these have proprietary motherboards that wont go in a standard ATX case since the ports on the back of the board don't match up and they are not ATX or mATX size.

        Would have been perfect otherwise.

        • thanks for answering/explaining. don't feel so bad now. what a waste of a hot cpu

    • I think this might fit in it: http://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?item=N8…
You will probably need to upgrade the PSU and the PSU is proprietary, but this should fix it http://www.moddiy.com/products/IBM-Lenovo-PSU-Main-Power-24%…

With a i7-4790 and a gtx 1060 you should be able to game for a long time. Either that or wait for a LF GTX1050 that might work without any PSU upgrade.

  • hmm oh well

  • +1

Windows is already half that price? :P

  • +1

Thanks for the post. Bought this Lenovofor the little one for $136 Bargain :)

    • +1

      wow. too cheap.

    • Was just about to post that too. Will you or I?

      • +3

        You please

    • What does the Black (resealed) mean?

    • +1

Got one just for fun. Thanks for the hint!

    • OOS

  • all gone

  • +3

Not as good of a deal but I did get this one just in time for $515. The CPU alone is worth $440 brand new. It has windows so all you need to do is add a GPU and you have a high end gaming pc. Just hoping they deliver..

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Lenovo-ThinkStation-P300-Tower-Wo…

    • Ripper deal.

      • +1

Similar ones are nearly 2k. Hope it comes through for you.

    • +2

Be careful with recommending things like this, it may not have any PCIe power cables.

The 450W PSU version has a single 6-pin, but this looks to be the 280W version from what I can see.

      • True, didn't think of that. I guess I'll find out when it gets here

    • I wonder if you can chuck in let's say a gtx 1060 or 1070 in it?

  • Did anyone manage to get any or have they pulled the listing?

    • +2

I got one. Estimated delivery Fri, 09 Sep

      • Aren't you lucky!

        • +1

Kinda wish I got the 4790 deal now though!

  • What does the Black (resealed) mean in their listings?

    • No idea. they stated the products come with 3 months factory warranty… probably display units ?

anyway, I don't think they are going to honor the deal No bother bro

      • Noticed that too, only 3 months warranty on what is listed as a new item, but it does state it is resealed.

I just bought this for $280.76. It seemed like RRP was $1000+? Anyone confirm did I get a good deal?

    • $700-$1000 elsewhere. Good deal for a higher end Cherry Trail.

    • Dont want to discourage you but no one pays $1000+ for this. It seems that $280 is its actual value.

  • Crazy good deal

  • http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Lenovo-ThinkPad-11e-11-6-inch-HD-… This little Thinkpad 11E is still here if anyones interested, doesnt seem to be many left.

Anyone know if its a good deal?

    • Not when the Win10 Pro version was like 25 more.

      • Upgrade it to pro for free

  • +1

    (profanity).

  • -4

got 2. is this any good for gaming? if not i might just sell them lol.

    • It will be fine for MOBA games like Dota 2, League of Legends and RTS games.

Should play CS:GO and World of warcraft too.

  • If I was you guys, I would take the CPU out and sell it separately.

    • Like 2 got sold

    • iid take it out…use ram and hard drive for a new build. insane value.

  • Damn, that was an insanely good deal. Would have loved to buy this, and use it to build a gaming PC in a new case.

  • err did we not entertain the possibility that this might be a price error?

    • Might be, but no notification in my eBay yet.

  • these easy to strip down? thinking the board ram and cpu would be a good option for a gaming rig

  • +1

What a deal to miss !!

  • +1

God damn it. I'm still using an old i7 950.

    • im still using i7 930
      still fast enough for me

      • Dat TDP tho - 130W.

  • +1

Mine just shipped with Toll. Tracking hasn't lit up yet but they gave me a con note no.

  • Good on you, I think you are the only one who actually bought this, apart from the broden who snapped 3.

  • +2

Ahhh OzBargain. Snooze - You Lose.

    Missed this deal.

  • +1

Just got shipping confirmation on my M93p - so I don't think a price error. I ordered what seemed to be the last one from Gray's website (so didn't get the 20% off + had to pay shipping). Haven't had a desktop for PC for almost a decade, so could be way off, but seems like good value.

SSD + Ram + CPU seem great for that price. Can anyone comment on the graphics performance of this thing - the GT 620? Useful to play the occasional game, or would need to invest in a new graphics card?

    • +1

rubbish. but the cpu ram and board alone at this price is brilliant. not sure of the psu size…as in can u get a better atx size in the box..and with it a gpu

    • +1

I got mine delivered already. I ordered from Gray's too. However I did not get it with a SSD but with a laptop HDD :|. I will send them a message about it.

GT620 is meah. Wait for a couple of months, the 1050 might be out. The recommendation is to get a 40W GPU, reports said that a low profile 750 ti at 60W works, hopefully the GTX 1050 at 75W will work too. According to this https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkCentre-A-E-M-S-Series/Grap… it should work as other 75W cards work just fine.

If you want to change the PSU you will need this cable: http://www.moddiy.com/products/IBM-Lenovo-PSU-Main-Power-24%…

      • Interesting, hopefully they sort you out with a 512GB SSD!

  • Crap, looking for a quiet desktop.

  • I got the M93p delivered but with a laptop HDD instead of the SDD, did anybody else get the same?

Otherwise the box was impecable. New mouse + keyboard, new cable, the computer looks unused. Not 1 spec of dust inside it. Do they clean PCs that good as this does not look like any second hand I ever saw.

    • Resealed should mean that they have not been used at all - simply e.g. a manual is missing, box has been opened or something like that.

Odd re: the HDD. Mine should hopefully arrive tomorrow or Friday - I'll let you know if it comes with the SSD or not !

    • Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - but mine also has the laptop HDD instead of SSD.

Looking it up from the device manager shows me it is: http://www.seagate.com/au/en/consumer/upgrade/laptop-hdd/?sk…

I think I will be returning mine.

      • I am sure somebody wants it here even like that. I still think it is a very good deal. The guy below got an even better deal with his nvidia quatro :) but still.

      • I'll give you $350 for it

  • -2

very interest in buying one from someone for $400 + delivery
think about it roughly %25 profit

  • +1

    Wow they actually delivered!
They said it had 8GB RAM but it actually has 16GB. It said it had intel graphics but it also has a Nvidia Quadro k2200!

    So happy :D

This is for the $550 one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/122116914025

    • +1

Awesome, that makes your a ver, very good deal. Our m93p looks like came with a HDD instead of a SSD.

      • Bummer, still a very good deal.

        • I am still happy about it.
