Quick: Do these conform for bringing it with you on a plane?

    • +4

Yes you can bring them with you

    • +2

Power banks should fine carried on hand luggage.

    • +6

Yesni just got back from malaysia and japan. airport actually wants you to carry it and not in cargo. Lots of no note 7 warnings too lol

    • +3

Most airlines allow a fare number of small batteries, 100 Wh or less… which sets the "small battery" limit at 20,000 mAh (assuming 5V output)
Cathay states they will allow 20 small spare batteries per passenger… but only a few slightly larger batteries
Carry on seems to be the preference for loose batteries. (checked in is fine for batteries inside equipment)

Haha this banter is too good. I need to post deals more often :P

  • +3

What does a "registered 3rd party Xiaomi reseller" mean?

    • +3

Licence to sell Genuine Xiaomi product in Australia. As Xiaomi currently does not sell direct to our market, their products are sold through 3rd party distributors such as Geardo and Mushtato. Hope this helps :)

  • +3

$39.90 for 2 on Mushtato deal vs $40.90 on Geardo.

    • +2

Or you just got a 10000 mAh one for ~$30 delivered from either seller :)

  • +2

Can anyone comment on the quality of the Hoco lightning cable? Seems a decent price. Is it MFI?

  • +4

    Stuhtb you should've posted this!

  • +1

I thought Geardo was gonna do a 20000mAh one :(

    • +1

20000 mAh deal already exists? all be it $1 price rise.

    • +1

Most likely they will this week… this is more of a price match than an official 'deal' by GearDo.. So keep a heads up in the new deals section cause these things sell out quick! :)

      • +1

Wonder if there will be a substantial change in price. Otherwise I should just go for $46 as it is available now.

      • I'm holding tight for this!

    • +2

Now on special for $45.95 express shipped :)

  • Please do 20000 mAh

    • +1

Now on special for $45.95 express shipped :)

      • -4

was 45.95 inc shipping yesterday, then price went up to $48.95, same as it was on weekend.

        • It's $45.85 now which is cheaper than yesterday. Your negative vote is invalid.

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargains:
          At the time it wasn't.
Dont play games you are becoming smarmy.

        • @quog: you are negging for an invalid reason. Maybe it's due to the lack of deals you have posted in the past 3 years #none.

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargains:
When i negged it was not any cheaper than any none advertised price for the 20000 in the week prior.

          Do you not understand?

        • @quog: well it is cheaper now by 10 cents. As a result of your action, the price went down. Same thing happened when TA negged this deal, price went down and negative vote was revoked.

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargains:
The 5000 has been cheaper previously at numerous sellers as posted by hamza23 above and will appear cheaper again.

The 20000, do you think 10c is a bargain? Again 20000 has been cheaper, and will appear cheaper again.

I do not believe it was a deal and voted accordingly. If you have an issue report my posts to the mods.

        • @quog: The main issue I am having is that you negative voted after this deal had been posted up for a day. There is not the activity on this deal anymore for people to vote you down for your silly logic.

Next time you negative vote someone, maybe think of all the time and effort that went into the post as well rather than just critiquing them.

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargain:
Was approx 3 hours after 20000 was added. So do not lie or fabricate timeframes for your own benefit.

Not unreasonable at all. Plenty of posts after my first.

Report it if it is such an issue for you.

        • @quog: Don't need to, this negative will be removed eventually. Unlike you, I post deals regularly and am an active member of this community. You negged the deal after it received 102 positive votes? Seems no one in the community agrees or has agreed with your view.

Edit: Updated to reflect price drop.

  • +6

Love that price war even though as stated by hamza, has been cheaper in the past.

  • +2

Haha loving the price drops!! :D I'm going to wait another 20 min to buy another one

  • +1

plot twist…they are the same owner…..

  • +3

are we going to see $15 soon? :P
I think I am going to buy one soon while I really dont it! I am going to support Geardo for the great offers.

  • +1

Can this be used with the Nexus 6P?

    • +1

Apparently so…?, in regards to I/O, the 10000 and 5000 aren't that different

  • +1

this only charges at the normal usb rates? doesnt take or do fast charge does it? cant see the specs in the listing.

    • +2

Yes if you read the link in my comment, members have said it will work however it will not quick charge, you need the type-c power bank for that.

  • I ordered the 5000mAh from the same link for $18.95 last week Monday with the same free express post. However, took until Friday to arrive.

    • When was order dispatched?

      • It was dispatched on Thursday.
Still far better than Shopping Express, I ordered the same thing from them and they took 7 business days to put a 5000mah in the mail….

  • +1

I ordered the 20000mAh power bank yesterday afternoon and received it today this morning - that's a pretty decent turnaround and I'm pretty happy with that.

  • +3

Ordered the 20000mAh yesterday and received this morning.

  • +1

No PRO (Quick Charge) version on special?

    • It never is for some reason. Need one too.

  • received in 2 days. bloody legends.

  • Edit: Update to reflect 20000 mAh price drop.

    • Are you affiliated with Geardo?

      • Nope they just have good prices on power banks. Is the 20,000 currently available anywhere cheaper for Au stock? Didn't think so…

  • +1

Bought the 20,000 mAh yesterday and received it within 24 hours of ordering! Great turn around!

    • That's so quick, just in time for the weekend! :)

  • I ordered mine on Wednesday and I'm still waiting 😕

  • Does anyone use a case for these?
