      • thank you

  • Just got my 60k points also, waited approximately 2 weeks after making purchases worth $500

  • Just applied for this after hearing people getting their 60k points :)

  • +1

Got my 60k, did the instructions left by others which was to call up ANZ rewards, ask them to link my Velocity account then completed $500 spend

  • My points are in too. Nice!

  • Can I ask one question? I've booked a flight to Fiji in Jan, so is it possible to request 2 lounge passes and use them for my international flight? I read the information on ANZ website that I can only use for Virgin domestic flights. Thanks.

Just received my points, I think i will sell my flights do the passes just arrive in the mail? I was hoping to use them for a air new Zealand flight as they are a partner with virgin?

    • +2

how are you planning on selling the flight if it has to be booked in primary cardholder's name?

  • Has anyone booked the flights before? Are they as good as the Amex ones in terms of flight availability?

  • When they will post Virgin Domestic lounge Passes ? I already spent $500

    • don't you need to call them to request the passes?

  • Not had my velocity points turn up but I must say these cards are great for traveling.

I was a newbie to travel cards but using your card as you do at home with the same rate as withdrawing large sums of cash is great.

I used to just use debit cards and withdraw the max.

This probably works out cheaper as theres no ATM fee but still uses the VISA/AMEX forex exchange as far as i can see

  • How does one go about getting these complementary return domestic flights after qualifying?

    • Just need to call ANZ Rewards. I booked minethis week. 5 minutes on the phone from go to whoa, very easy process.

  • This deal has expired, but the 40k offer is still active for anyone who hasn't yet applied.

  • Anyone received their bonus points recently?

  • I applied mid November and instantly spent $500.00. I have not received the 60K points yet. A mate signed up after me and already got his. Called ANZ Rewards customer service without success. Anybody else in a similar situation?

    • have you supplied your velocity number to anz rewards?

      • +1

Yes I did, a few days after I received the card. Also re-confirmed on the phone that the correct number was linked…Not impressed with ANZ!

        • when I linked mine, they told me it would take up to 3 months from reaching $500 spend, it ended up only taking a bit over a month

  • I still haven't received my points… hit the spend in November..

    • Did you call them to update the velocity membership number?

      • Yep. The day I activated my cards.

        • Points just dropped! :D now just for my wife's to come though.

  • Just got my points!

I gave them my Velocity number when I first called up to activate my card in November but I'm not sure if it was linked then (didn't even have online banking with ANZ at that point). I also only recently changed the email linked to my Velocity account to be the same email I use for ANZ Rewards a couple of weeks ago, so maybe that helped too.

  • Anyone still waiting?

  • Thanks OP, got my points! Signed up and activated just before Christmas, reached the $500 at the start of January and points came through yesterday. I linked auto-redeem to Velocity in my ANZ Rewards account, not sure if it helped but never had to call or anything, just came through and I even got an email from Velocity saying my transfer had been successful.

  • I applied before 5pm today. However I didn't get instantly approved and have to upload two recent payslips. I should be eligible for the bonus points based on the T&C's right? It didn't mention anything about being approved by 15 Feb.

  • I applied at end of Dec and I am still waiting for the bonus points :(
