The only problem is that this uses more power in standby mode (quick start) than an Apple TV does when it's running :(

Although it's now saying back in stock with only a few left, but when you click on the add to basket button with 1 unit quantity selected, it then says "We’re sorry. This product isn’t available in the quantity that you’ve chosen."
So it looks like just the web site had gone buggy and was displaying back in stock when it really isn't. So you can't believe the stock status on the product page itself.
Came back in stock and grabbed one for Xmas present for the parents. At this price it's better than Apple TV (Blu-ray included).
How did you do that?. I was trying and it was saying the product wasn't available in the quantity i've chosen (1 unit). You must have grabbed the only unit that came back in stock. Probably some one cancelled their order in cart.

Why would they be doing that?. I would reckon orders in carts are expiring after not being paid and so being fed back into the system and being snatched up by another person very soon afterwards.
Just an observation… You may also be right.
I don't know the exact reason for them randomly becoming available. All I know is I got one and I'm happy…

Yeah i would say people are just snatching up stock from cart orders that are expiring after the set expiry time because it was just staying idle and not being paid.
Can Xbox one play all 360 games?
No, only about 250 of them at the moment but that list is growing all the time.
It was 273 in mid october, I think they've added more since. But you don't just put the 360 game in your console and start playing. It registers the game and then downloads it from the Xbox server onto your hard drive.
In other words it's an Xbox 360 to Xbox One conversion. Like the Xbox One emulating an Xbox 360 game?.
Just picked up the assassins creed bundle with kinect for $229 @ Target Tuggerah, catalogue ones out of stock, have these out the back. Salesperson threw in the lego download card from the sale bundle too.

Tried to get a price match using your receipt but no dice manager just said they shouldn't have done that deal and was going to contact the store. I wasn't really fussed and picked up the new cod game for ps4 for my son instead.

EDIT - well i just called preston northlands (where i ordered mine for 'click and collect') and was told they have about 11 still in stock. not the assassin's creed bundle but they do come with a code for a download of the lego movie game apparently.

Sorry but MS has abandoned the DVR functionality. You can only temporarily pause live TV, not record or schedule.
