Lol, going to wait for them to pay me to get one

Doesn't seem like such a bargain when you can get a brand new Xbox One 1TB with a bonus game for $288.

My Target has had a 500gb new with 2 Assassin's Creed games sitting there for months for 250.

(Just thought I'd pop in to say not only are you right, but you're really god damned right)

      • I see. That's good.

depends if you need the game or not ….

I bought an extra Xbox 500GB at the current low prices so when our 1TB dies, we have a spare and I also needed the second controller which would have been $60 on it's own. The refurb bit would have me thinking twice, and id rather pay a bit extra and get new. You wouldn't want a refurb if it came from out household. I backup the games to an external drive so if we did have to use the other Xbox, I wouldn't need to download the games and patches again over the internet which would take forever and also blow our broadband plan (200GB down)

We skipped the Xbox One S as the new console and relegate the old Xbox one as the spare….. will wait for the scorpio until we do console refresh, as we don't have 4K games.

  • 109 would be a bargain and a half, but for not much more you can find one of these new, and usually with a game or something too.

    • but this comes it a game (not that it is a fantastic deal though)

I suppose it does say that, I didn't notice, though I have no idea what game it is.

I get it though, like, money doesn't grow on trees (well, technically), but even still, you'd do better to just hold off a little longer if you were a prospective purchaser and get the better deal.

  • I keep seeing these deals and wanting on, but considering I have a 360 with about 40 unplayed games I just can't justify it

    • +2

I feel you, but if I waited until I completed every PS360 gen game I have to buy a current gen machine, well, I'd probably only be done by the time the PS5 comes out.

    • Hahaha same, despite never having the time I like to pick up cheap games on eBay and second hand stores

The idea of a new console is so you can buy NEW games, not some old tech "last gen" games.

And if you are online gaming, except for COD, nobody who is anybody is playing old Xbox 360 releases.

Fifa 17… can you play that on your Xbox 360?

      Battlefield One?

      You know… modern stuff.

      • +2

Even when I bought a modern game I didn't have time, it has unfortunately become too elusive for me to find the time to play. The point I was trying to make was that I would end up buying this and not playing it, not that I had to play through those games before I allowed myself to play something modern

Is that because your schedule has been replaced with OzBargain?

        • +1

@Savas: when people say Facebook addiction, I am thinking OzBargain addiction

        • @Jackson: Hahaha yep same. Can never see how people get addicted to Facebook, but they can never understand how I am addicted to OzBargain.

  • How many of them are there available in the store? This is a store specific deal, so if there are less than 10, this does not meet the ozbargain listing criteria.

I think there is a lot of confusion. The minimum 10 is only suggested, its up to the mods to decide
