To get this price you will need a android device with the following free apps - 7-Eleven Fuel & FakeGPS Free.

1 - Open the FakeGPS app and set your location to "Bacchus Marsh" press the play button to engage location
2 - Open the 7-Eleven Fuel and you will get a notification about cannot perform action
3 - Completely close both apps, reopen 7-Eleven Fuel app and lock in the price of 114.9 and fill up at your local 7-11

See comments for other locations with cheaper prices (continually fluctuating)

    I cant get it to work, been trying since yesterday. Tried arrow back out to close, app manager to force stop, uninstall, reinstall, off, on, 1.0.4 apk, two different fakegps's mentioned in these pages.

    Looks like Im destinged to be sadder than normal at the pump knowing some of you bastards are getting cheap fuel.

      Try this.
      Set mock location settings to use FAKE gps app.
      Set your phone location settings by long pressing the gps icon which will take you to gps settings to high accuracy i.e (gps/wifi/mobile networks)
      open fake gps & search for location - "wyong" or any.
      click on start.
      get on the home screen by pressing middle button.
      open google maps > click on the gps icon(a small dot) so that it recognizes your fake location as your current location and shows you're at "wyong".
      get on the home screen by pressing middle button
      open 7 eleven fuel app > click on "find my best local price" IT will say mock location settings enabled couldn't proceed.
      get on the home screen by pressing middle button
      clear everything from ram i.e kill all apps.(also make sure in notification bar the fake gps app icon is not shown i.e its stopped completely)
      Now open the fuel app. and click on find my best local price. IT will say couldn't find any location. Try again and it will work!!
      This should work if mock location settings are working on your phone.

      Tested on S6 unrooted with fake gps app from app store.

        Thanks for that, but it keeps showing me error due to mock locations, If I kill mock locations, it knows where I am.

        I get Google maps to show me at Wyong. But where you said "open 7 eleven fuel app > click on "find my best local price" IT will say mock location settings enabled couldn't proceed" I just get a mock locations error. So I kill the apps, and a heap of others too, but 7 11 still wants me to disable mock locations.

        Using an old rooted s3… 4.4.4

      I struggled myself for a long time. I was removing the app, from the app drawer to properly close the app, however this did not work. What did work, was to go into Memory settings and Force stop both apps when required to. Now it reliably works. This was on a LG V10.

        When I turn off mock locations, it says unable to find location. I keep trying and eventually it will search but it will then find my real location.

        Are you roughly following the steps posted here?

    Try it with an app called Fake GPS JoyStick. It seems like the 7-11 app cannot detect the mock location enabled with this app.

        NSW is very easy to find the cheapest. WA you can easily find the cheapest in the cheapest (by average) region. I haven't found good fuel watch websites for the other states.

    114 is about the cheapest today. Available in Thornton NSW, Toowoomba Qld, Bacchus Marsh Vic.

    Almost not worth it for me. My local Woolworths is 124.9. Less 4c and less 5% is 114.9.

      How are you checking VIC and QLD? I'm not seeing much on the RACV and RACQ sites. Fuelspy works but is time consuming to go around the whole australia.

        VIC is easy, you can zoom out to see the whole metro area (there are no rural 7-Elevens) and find the greenest area.

        Queensland is hard. I just happened to search for Toowoomba which was cheap, there could be cheaper.

      Yes… but I think most people would use this for a slightly different purpose; 7-day price lock.

      For example, if you are NOT low on fuel, but have a suspicion that prices might go up over the next few days, then you could always "Lock" in the current price in case the price increases.

        True. However, in Melbourne prices are going down at the moment. Also, you have to load credit on to the app to lock in the price. I don't like storing my money with 7-Eleven.

        I prefer to just find the cheapest price on the day I need to refuel or if a particular cheap price is available lock in only as many litres as I can fit in my tank on that day.

          @sween64 , the max you would lock is say $100. With the best saving interest rate available, that is $3 interest per year of lost money by locking it in the 7eleven app.

          However, the money you can save by locking the price , say just before the start of new cycle far outweighs the lost interest.

          During every fill up, I have saved at least $3-$12. This also gives me lot of convenience as I can just fillup in the station that is on my route to work.

          @ujwols: I have a home loan so the savings are slightly higher, like $4! Woo.

          It's more the principal of having credit with a store that I don't like. It's the same reason I don't have an eTag (road toll service) and only top up my Myki (public transport service) with the minimal amount. It also helps as I don't use these services very often.

          If you are just locking in the price before the 15c jump then I see the value, however I'm using the GPS hack to find the cheapest national price and so I'm not constrained by the cycles as they vary across the country.

          @jdogg: E10 needs to be at least 4c cheaper to be worth as it is about 3% less efficient in most cars. If it is only 2c cheaper than U91, better to get U91. Lots of forums to support this.

    7 Eleven App must of got smart cause i cant get this to work on any of my phones Galaxy s 6 and a rooted galaxy note 2.. for the s6 i always get mock location error and the note 2 i get Rooted device error closing app.

    My world suck no cheap fuel for me lol.
