Further Info/Tips

There are two "tricks" that can be extremely beneficial as there is a common trend experienced by 7-Eleven App users: 1) If you receive an error processing your credit/debit card, you can purchase a 7-Eleven Gift Card in-store and apply the credits instantly onto the App. 2) You do not need to use the funds on your App to pay for the fuel, you can lock-in the price and pay via Cash or Card at the checkout saving the hassle of constantly topping up, gift cards, etc.

Master131 spends a lot of time creating and maintaining the script at Project Zero Three that we all know and love.

Next day when i did mine 3 weeks ago

      • Thanks for answering me. No credit in my account yet. I'll contact them if I don't see anything in a couple of days.

    • +1

The app claim didn’t work for me. Buggy perhaps? So I sent them an email and 6 days later I get a response with the credit to my account.

      • Glad that they resolve it in the end. I have no idea why I'm getting downvoted but I probably deserve it by others. Thanks for giving me an answer.

        • When you make a claim, the claim screen said 2 business days…..

  • -6

Just scanned my voucher and the system could not find it, had to pay full price.

    U98 134.9c/L @ 7-Eleven Clontarf, QLD

      • +10

Normally posting cheap prices is just spam, but the 134.9 is exceptionally cheap - most likely due to the station running out of U91 and the U98 getting dropped U91 prices.

I will be releasing my instructions privately of how to have multiple 7/11 clones running in the same phone at any given time. This will also get around the 2 fuel locks per 24 hours per device limitation.
Please Private Message me to obtain the instructions
Sample of cloned 7/11 apps to manage multiple 7/11 accounts, using App Cloner, PM for instructions

    • +2

App cloner is a wonderful thing

    • -3

will this method be able to lock a fuel price again eventhough you haven't used your current fuel lock?

      • +2

        No.

The rules of using 7/11 cannot be changed.
To get around that, you still need to either:
        1) Wait until the active fuel lock is gone
        2) Burn the fuel lock by doing minimum fuel up and using the undesirable lock (2L as per the pump as minimum delivery, but some others have reported you can do lower)

    • -1

      Assume this needs multiple accounts?

      • +5

Yes, it's for people like me who lock for others, let's you manage 10 accounts with one phone, you won't need to sign in and out every time.

      1) Use multi-instance manager for NOX and use the latest android (Nox from memory is on Android 4.4?)
      2) Use Bluestacks instead
      3) Get an android phone

      No more spoonfeeding.

      • +2

New version of Bluestacks supports multiple instances now too.

        • i think thats for windows only,,Mac still has no support for multi instances

Their systems were down this afternoon. Couldn't redeem lock or pay with fuel card and had to pay full price on eftpos. Also couldn't redeem the free drink in the app but he put it through as 1 cent for me.

    • Was working at 2.35pm AEDT

  • Have a U98 voucher at 134.9c up for grabs, expiring at 6:02pm (QLD, less than 1 hour). 59L.

    PM me.

      I'm keen. But I can't pm you

  • Hi I'm getting internal server error trying to set auto lock in from both Qpython3 and Termux on my android phone. Both have been running well until today. Anyone has this issue? Uninstall and reinstall Termux does not help.

    • -1

I too am having internal server errors today.

  • -1

Thanks mate for your quick response. It helps to know it's not my apps issue.

    • +7

I'll push an update in a minute. It's because master131's server (not his changes he told me) doesn't let us use a user-agent which has "python-requests" in it (which is the default user-agent).

      • +8

I'm following it up with my hosting provider - I haven't changed any config in months.

        • +1

Looks like they weren't much help - might be a hosting level directive to reduce botting, Freighter will put out a fix for it.

  • +18

Thanks masters131 and Freighter for both of your hard work. Don't know what else to say to show my appreciations.

  • -5

I only seem to be able to lock in once, then I have to uninstall and reinstall the 7-Eleven apk.

When I try to lock in the second time, I always get an error :
    Location Error
We couldn't find your current location, please try again later.

I'm using Fake GPS and other apps pick up the location correctly.

    • When I try to lock in the second time, I always get an error :
      Location Error
We couldn't find your current location, please try again later.

I've seen this when you have given permission to the app, but your global location settings are set to off..
      Check those.

Otherwise switch to the OG method of Nox/Bluestacks

  • +1

Hi Freighter and master131 all running well now after reinstalling python into Termux. Thanks a million.

    • Hmm I've tried deleting and reinstalling on Termux, but I'm still getting the Internal Server Error message.

Last line in Termux is is "OSError: [Errno 98] Address already in use".

      I ran the following codes:

      rm -rf 7Eleven-Python
      git clone https://github.com/freyta/7Eleven-Python.git
      cd 7Eleven-Python
      python app.py

      • +2

I deleted cache and cleared app data, then uninstalled Termux, then restarted the device & did everything on here:

        https://github.com/freyta/7Eleven-Python/wiki/Android-detail…

Maybe there is an easier way, but that worked for me.

        • Okay, I've done exactly that and it works now. Can't tell what went wrong though haha.

        • +2

          I did slightly less.
          Clear data on termux
Then run through fresh install from GitHub of freighters glorious work.

No need to uninstall or reboot.

On a side not I don't have to logout and in for my fuel lock anymore.

    • +4

      I'm looking at you @cwongtech .

You promised, no more spoon feeding!!!!

      • +1

Noob guidance system is on. I'm making them try as hard as they can before I assist.

I just realised my Patreon for Master131 hasn't been debiting for a couple of months now. Is there a new link?

I just went to lock in an it says Newtown qld is 129.9 for u91 but it's saying 142 when locking in

    • +2

Do you have it set to U95 accidentally?

    • +2

Newtown 4350 near Toowoomba, not Newtown 4305 near Ipswich.
Make sure to use postcode when setting location.

  • Anyone with android 10 here with Fake GPS Location working?

    • +2

Was originally working then stopped all of a sudden. A week after i got my Pixel 4.

I changed to a different app and worked fine.

      https://imgur.com/a/eVJPbsI

The above does have heaps of ad's hence, i downloaded the mod APK.

A little more complicated but works a treat.

      • Thanks Dud.

For anyone else reading I'm using a Note 9 running Android 9.

Mocklocation still gavw me the error. However Fake GPS worked.

    • +2

Try Mocklation. The search function isn't working so you have to look up the location you wish to emulate in Google Maps, switch back to Mocklation and manually zoom in and save the location. A little tedious but it works.

      • Glad it wasn't just me. I wonder when they'll fix the search function….hmmm…?

      • +1

If you use this app ElevenMe, you can swipe to copy the GPS coordinates, then paste them into mocklation
        https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.com.buysfly…

        • Cheers mate!

        • tried to install the app. getting this error "your device isn't compatible with version" am on android 6.0

        • -1

How do you paste in mocklation app?

  • +12

This might be a little off topic, but I recently made an app in Flutter to show the latest fuel prices from project Zero Three in a way that looks good and is accessible. The link is here: https://fueltastic.codemagic.app/#/.

Every time you use it to check for prices it logs the price at that time, and plots it into a graph on the inspect page.

It's very early days but I wanted to make it so I could make something in Flutter web. I literally wrote it two weeks ago and it is the sum total of ~3 hours of work, so if you have any feature requests etc just let me know and I will try to implement them.

(Disclaimer: It's really early in development. Also, Flutter for Web isn't suited for production apps just yet (so they say) so if you have any issues or whatever I'm all ears).

    • Feature request: choose which fuel types to display.

      • Ah yeah, it shows 95/98/91 etc etc, so, all available types. There are only ~6 types of fuel.

So you'd like to be able to tick boxes for what fuel to show/hide? I can take a crack at that.

        • Yeah. I only ever buy 91 and 98 so I’d like to hide the others.

        • +3

I implemented this today! Tap the three dots up the top right to select a filter. Filters are remembered between visits…. so you should only have to select them once.

I also got it building for iOS and Android the other day as native apps. I'll post links for the app soonish.

    • +4

Cool. But what benefit does it offer over https://projectzerothree.info/trends.php?

      • +8

It's kind of a difficult value proposition. It doesn't really offer any value over the existing trends page, or even the page on the project zero three that shows the cheapest fuel around the country.

It exists because I'm getting into a new development framework (Flutter) and they've recently added web support, so I made this project to try to write an app that would work for Android/iOS and Web. The value exists more in using new technology to accomplish new things.

But, instead of me just using the prototype, I figured to release it here to see what other people think.

Of course, maybe someone has a burning feature that they want and I can implement it, like the guy above who asked to be able to filter down to certain fuel types. Through that kind of community engagement it could be possible to develop something with significant value 😁

      Thumb up first~.
Please add post code after the suburb name, because there are some GPS relocating app (incl. the one I'm using, called LocationFaker on jailbroken iOS from Cydia) can let you to quickly input post code to relocate. It will help a great lot~ Thanks.

Just updated to Andriod 10 on my S10+ and i cant seen to change the 7/11 app location using any of the location mocking apps:

    So far, i have tried:

    • GPS Joystick;
    • Fake GPS;
    • Mocklocation;
    • FakeGPS Free

Locking in the positions of the cheap fuel locations are fine within those apps, but when i reopen and resign in into the 7/11 app to try and lock fuel in, the 7/11 app still shows my current real location.
